Great location, excellent views. peaceful pool areas and high standard restaurants. would recommend, however not recommended for wheel chair or people with walking difficulties due to the amount of steps and steep road gradients.

Stole money from our room 1110batat Thy hey scan our card twice then told us didnt work used different card went through then checked with bank and they did do it the frist time had to complain about it then they put deposit back in bank. Had 20% off all food and drinks in our package but had to keep telling them everytime we brought something they should of known by giving them room number most of the staff didnt understood English hard to ask questions. Only good point was Buffett breakfast. Also they have 10% government tax and 7% service fee which is completely a scam as there is no such thing its just a way off the resort making more money off you, would not stay here again plus phuket isn't that cheap at all especially in most resorts and restaurants drinks just the same as back in Australia 9 to 10 dollars a drink like scotch and vodka best to go to little supermarket and eat some off street food if you know were to go. Seafood very expensive overall not the cheapest place to travel bali still abit cheaper. Still here told us would investigate but nothing happened not a 5 star resort more like 3.5 star not cheap at all.
I stayed at Diamond Cliff for two days. It's a pretty big resort but thankfully they provide a shuttle to help you get around. The rooms are spacious and it's a good ocean view depending on the room you stay in. Also the place to go for the breakfast is an open space. You can feel the nice breeze and see the ocean while you eat. Thank you Diamond Cliff staff for the good time at your resort.
Excellent, clean rooms in a quiet location but within 15 mins walk to the center of patong beach action center and night life. Staff were polite, friendly and approachable. Breakfast items were good and satisfying. It is on a cliff and not advisable for people with mobility issues and elderly people. Lot of steps to get to room. Cleanliness was above par.
I went to a family of 4, but 2 rooms are connected inside so it is easy to move 3 beds each I loved the food in the pool and the view restaurant where I could relax.
A quiet space just above the city! Good staff support! From the size of the location, move by cargo car in the hotel. Pool! Number of facilities that cannot be used up! Two Japanese staff are resident-kind! And so on ... (^^
Amazing hotel beautiful deluxe spa villa great view awsome pool all staff very friendly and made our stay comfortable also security guards 24/7 at various locations around the hotel makes you feel very safe and shuttle service around the hotel every 5 minutes definetly recommend this hotel 10/10 thank you for making our stay comfortable and a memorable experience
Amazing in every way! We cannot commend the wonderful staff and resort enough.
My husband and I stayed at the Diamond Cliff Resort for 4 nights in November and loved every minute of it. We were amazed by the service, friendliness and luxury of this resort.
Our check-in service was completed with the most polite and efficient concierge and we were given hot towels and a welcome drink upon arrival which was exactly the refreshment we needed from having spent the day on a gruelling flight from Melbourne. Our concierge personally showed us to our rooms which required a shuttle service that ran every 5 minutes and were assisted by a lovely bellhop who brought our bags to our rooms.
We booked a Deluxe Double room which was very spacious, clean, ambient and welcoming. We were delighted that we were given a room with both a sea and partial mountain view and we enjoyed spending our mornings sitting on the balcony reading, working and enjoying tea, while watching the sun rise over the ocean.
I absolutely loved the attention to detail and little touches: the florals, foliage and decor are painstakingly well-thought out. While there are many stairs, there are just as many ramps. If you re a big reader, they have little libraries here, where you ll find a small selection of beach reads in different languages (we saw a few English and German titles, etc.).
They have two pools onsite and six restaurants and bars. The Oceanview was especially lovely: you could sit in one of those round lounge chairs overlooking the sea for hours but you will need to arrive early to nab these prime seats.
I would like to commend the kindest, thoughtful, wonderful and hard-working staff enough here who go above and beyond to make you feel a welcomed and valued guest. From the friendly security guards (patrolling the property so you always felt safe and the ones directing the traffic flow so that patrons could cross the busy road outside the resort), the concierge staff who are efficient, knowledgable and super responsive, the lovely housekeeping staff where nothing was too much to ask, the restaurant staff who were lightning prompt with our meals (both at the Oceanview restaurant and in-room dining - our food always arrived hot and glad-wrapped for protection and freshness, as it is a fair distance from the restaurant to our rooms). Everything here is spotless and so well-maintained, from the gardens to the pools to the walkways.
A special thanks to our onsite Tour desk agent, Natt (located next to the reception). On a complete whim after dinner, we decided to book an island tour to Banana Beach (we took a selection of brochures from the desk and decided this would be the best one for us). Natt was incredibly helpful, experienced and knowledgable. She was able to provide us with an overview of the tour and provide a list of considerations (any illness, injuries, food allergies, intolerance to spicy food as the tour provided meals and a recommendation that the resort can provide towels for hire as the tour company did not). We booked our tour for the next day and settled the payment without any issues even though it was well after business hours. Unfortunately, by early next morning I'd come down with a migraine and Natt was able to work with the tour company and transfer our reservation to the next day.
NB: The check out experience was efficient, however, you will need to allow 15-20 minutes on the morning of checking out, as they will perform a 10 minute check for any incidentals prior to releasing your bond of 4000 TBH (approx. $200 AUD). The good thing was that they will deduct this from your total bills (ours included all our meals, etc.) We had a 12:30 PM flight to Chiang Mai and checked out at 9:30 AM, which was complete within this 15-20 minute time frame. I d also recommend downloading the Grab app (equivalent to Uber but better) as taxis from the resort to the airport can be very expensive (and it s about an hour away during peak traffic).
As we are undergoing renovation, we can not enter the ocean view pool. The staff is attentive. Because it is built on a slope, the scenery is good. Good Wi-Fi connection. The picture on the TV is bad The shower for everyone's time zone suddenly changes in temperature.
Delicious breakfast. I found guest got drinks from the buffet breakfast when they were swimming, staff didn t stop them. Very gentle to guest. Staff are always wearing with smiley faces. Guest can choose the first kg of free fruit which is a very good idea. I bought another 1 kg of mango and papaya, staff cut the fruit, clean and safe service of food. Highly recommend, wish u have wonderful experience here.
Staying here at the moment. Fantastic deal due to covid-19. The resort remains fully committed to its customers service. Beautiful room. Great breakfast. Excellent staff. Book it!!!
Best stay ever! Wonderful staff that is always helpful. Many extra services including shuttles that made our stay memorable. Excellent breakfast and dinners. We did try other places around the resort and found the food and service at the resort was the best. Thank you for and amazing experience.
Excellent resort with friendly staff, easy 10 minute walk back into town. Buffet breakfast is extensive and caters for all tastes. We stayed in a suite (2014) adjoining the pool area so we had our own private patio with just a few steps down to the pool and bar area. The pool is extensive and caters for young and old and has a waterfall and a water slide and a large swimming area. There is a modern gym on the premises. The resort is undergoing some redevelopment so there were a lot of closed off areas and tradespeople coming and going however this did not affect our stay. There is a steep hill from reception to the top of the resort however there is a shuttle every 5 minutes to take you up and down. The resort says no pets, so we were annoyed to see several cats around the pool and breakfast area being petted and fed by staff
Good service & friendly staff. Great location - away from the bustle hustle area but still easy access to the center of town by hotel's shuttle bus which is free. Room is spacious and clean. Japanese restaurant here is perfect - the fresh and high quality sasimi is wroth trying. Opposite the resort is a nice restaurant by the sea called Sea Salt Lounge & Grill - fresh sea food & meat lovers are recommended. We will definitely come back to Diamond Cliff.
Courteous staff, beautiful grounds, nice rooms, spa services are excellent but prepare for lots of walking. Searching, climbing to get to some rooms and restaurants. A shuttle is provided, which helps. A security guard helps you cross the busy road filled with nonstop motorcycles and vehicles.
Excellent customer service. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly Hotel is very clean and the breakfast is just wow so many options. Definitely coming back.
Rested as a family in April 2018. Prior to that, rested in hotels in 5 *, 4 *. Booked a room with a balcony and a view of the sea. The price included only breakfast. As a result, they settled in the Deluxe. Upon arrival, they were given a coupon that can be exchanged for 1 kilogram of fruit. The restaurant has a large selection. The area of the room was 56 meters square. the room had a large enough table (not all hotels have one). On the territory of us drove the car. The hotel has a traffic controller. On the territory of 2 pools. And one pool by the sea. The large pool has a water slide. On the recommendation of a car they took in rent (car rental - Orange car phuket, there is a website on the Internet), it turned out much cheaper than a taxi. The only minus is that there are large rocks near the hotel on the beach,. Not far from the hotel there are a lot of cafes, in the evenings we went for a walk around the malls (many departments, McDonalds, KFC). I think the hotel deserves 5 *
Great view of Patong bay from our room. I don't think all rooms have this view.
Very clean, beautiful resort.
This resort is built into the side of a hill so lots of steps and steep walking. They do have shuttle vehicles to take you up the hills but I wouldn't recommend this resort for anyone with mobility issues.
The pool areas are gorgeous and have a fantastic view of the bay.
Resort is a short but somewhat dangerous (due to traffic) walk down to Patong bay.
Taxis are cheap and you can get anywhere you need for just a few baht Would stay here again.
Not cheap but clean and comfortable. Transfer from airport. It takes about an hour by car, so a taxi costs a lot of money. It is unknown whether there is a bus. (There are no trains on Phuket Island) Or if you can rent a bike, that's good. (Cars and motorcycles are almost indispensable to travel from the hotel, so renting is very good) There are 5 shuttle buses from the hotel to the downtown area a day, so there is no problem, but it may be a little inconvenient. The shuttle bus is the most convenient way to go, and the tuk-tuk is the most convenient way to return.
If you have a honeymoon plan, you will be very happy to decorate your wine, cake and room. Also, regardless of the plan, you will receive 1kg of fruit. (Mango, dragon fruit, pineapple, etc. There are many choices, so choose your favorite combination)
There are two pools and they are clean. Breakfast is from 6:30 to 10:30. Since there is no restaurant that can be easily reached nearby, it is better to make a plan with breakfast.
There are some mosquitoes, the internet is slow... The water quality of the pool is normal... The 15m slide is the best for children~ Breakfast is okay...
Breakfast does not correspond to a 5 * hotel. The staff is gloomy, unfriendly, one gets the impression that it does everything out of the blue. Walk to the beach for about 10 minutes.
Large, beautiful, well-groomed territory, but not everywhere they are allowed. Nice gym.
Phuket is famous as a resort for Westerners, and there are places where Japanese people tend to go a step further, but this is a hotel where you can spend peace of mind with multiple Japanese staff. The rooms are large and comfortable. In addition, there are two pools, and there is water slider, too, and child can play happily. You also Family Mart and Seven-Eleven near, there is also a massage shop. The slope is steep in the hotel, but it is a hotel that only compensates for it. There are many types of breakfast and you can taste it while looking at the sea.
It was a large and clean room. However, the hotel itself was built on the slope of the mountain and there was no elevator, and when we moved, the stairs and slope were tight.
We stayed in Sweet for a family trip. Room, breakfast, service, pool are good, but it is better to stay with knowing location. It was not an impossible distance to walk from the center. There was not until now, but I was able to improve it very much because there are Japanese people at the front desk. It is a good memory that I bought various fruits at the supermarket and ate on the terrace.
Loved this place. Staff were excellent and polite Best breakfast buffet Room was very comfortable and loved the balcony although they could have had shade covered over it Lots of steps but great exercise and shuttle service drives you up to your to and down to lobby. Needed more transfer service to Patong and you had to make your own way back No big deal. Recommend this place for a relaxing holiday
When I went there, it was under renovation and the location was quite limited. Still, it was quite large and I enjoyed the pool (the one with no view of the sea), the restaurant and the bar. Several Japanese staff were enrolled, and I was helped by something. English is hardly understood in comparison with a hotel in Bangkok, so when you broke your stomach immediately on the first day, it was very helpful. As it is a little away from downtown, it may be a little unsuitable for those who want to play on Bangla Road. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to a prosperous place. And the road by the sea is dark without any streetlights. There was only a taxi or a tuk-tuk, so it was difficult for beginners like me.
Room was great walk out of patio straight into pool excellent. Breakfast food was very good great variety. Be prepared for lots of stairs staff excellent
Amazing hotel. Staff were so polite. Room was very clean. We had heaps of room service, cocktails ect over 10 days it all only came to around $300, so decent prices. Pools are so gorgeous. 100% recommend this hotel
Awesome resort with lovely staff ,every smiling and ready to help. Its a big resort and at the very best location.View for Hotel room is awesome. Loved the stay here.
Excellent Service, amazing and friendly staff. We had a wonderful honeymoon stay and were treated very well. The swimming pool was great as well as the food
The hotel is old and doesn't say that the room sheets are soaked and not changed. For even six days of accommodation, a word is dirty, and the higher-end sea view Diamond Suite is paid, but it is the same as the general room. The so-called sea view is only invisible. Unless you move a chair and stand on the table to see the sea. Breakfast is unremarkable~
Stayed here for 8 days, was a good place friendly staff but old hotel had few maintenance issues air con broke safe broke down and booked hotel through Expedia when arrived they were asking for 9000 baht deposit claiming its their policy when I asked where is your policy written they denied to showing me. I was never notified of any deposits.
Super close to the nightlife in Phuket, while also being able to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangla Road - Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa upgraded our rooms for free for the weekend and treated us really well. Everything was fairly priced, and drinking next to the pool was a treat.
- Population ratio: 10% for Chinese, 20% for Koreans, 70% for Europeans or Americans. - Location: Located at the top of Patong, you have to take a tuk tuk or taxi to get out of Patong Beach. The price is 200 baht for both tuk tuk / taxi. - Resort: Good for Korean staff. It seems that there are Japanese employees and there are many nationalities. - Shuttle: Shuttle is on the way, but if you know only the geography of the resort, - Room: It is not very cool and perfect ocean view, but it is good to see some sea. Beds are also great, but I do not have Korean TV (Arirang TV comes out). Very comfortable with modern atmosphere. - Swimming pool: Big swimming pool, ocean view swimming pool all 100 points. Leaves often float in the large swimming pool, but no big discomfort. - Bar: You can have a cocktail while swimming, but you only get a bart. Smoothie is lemonade, but it is so delicious, it is delicious if you eat beer. - Overall opinion: It is very pleasant to choose a new building other than the old one. It seems like you have recently remodeled it, but you can enjoy a good holiday with some distance. There is a convenience store right in front of you.
It may be a rather expensive hotel, but there is no such luxury. It's a bit old, but comfortable. Because there are many Japanese staff, it is convenient for those who want to complete all in Japanese. The way to the back pool is complicated. Breakfast is less Thai food. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to downtown. It is 5 minutes to the nearest convenience store. Located in a quiet location with relatively easy access to the city center, and Patong Beach is 5 minutes away, so it's recommended. There are four shuttle buses to downtown a day, but it is unknown because it is unused. One kilogram of fruit service during your stay is fun to choose.
Stayed in the Private Pool villa for 4 days, was baller! Super clean with all the amenities, sauna, outdoor and indoor showers, awesome view, bath tub, kitchen.
The breakfast was also super awesome.
Conveniently located and the staff and service was impeccable.
This hotel is located on the northern end hill of Patong Beach with sea view. Since there is JTB staff, you can communicate complaints in Japanese during the day. The room is old-fashioned. There are many slopes in the hotel, and the uphill is severe. During my stay, there was no bath mat and there were not enough towels. It was far when we walked to Bangla street, and it was sweaty if we did not use shuttle bus of hotel. Mr. Itamae of Japanese restaurant was Japanese. The setting sun seen from the room was wonderful.
Gorgeous place, lots of Thai traditional furniture and feel. All staff are kind, warm and lovely, especially front desk, room attendants and staff working evening shift at the Ocean View restaurant. Made us feel welcome and well looked after! Thank you Diamond Cliff
Spacious, well-maintained rooms and property. It's location has placed this resort within easy reach of local restaurants and shopping. Service excellence provided by every level of staff that I interacted with.
Great hotel. Stayed in the ocean view jacuzzi suite. Staff is very friendly, all the restaurants are good(Kiko was my favorite). Spent some time at the spa and the neck and back tension massage worked wonders. Would stay again if I came back to Phuket.
Since the steep slope that has been reduced star 1, but I want to revisit the overall. This villa will have exclusive butler's private feeling full is. Butler and will speak at the villa dedicated portable. Because it is a villa with a good view and is isolated, I put it in a pool or a sauna without minding others. Also Can you send it to the downtown area of Patong. Beach also go on foot. Front to It is reassuring because there was one Japanese There is also a hospital in the hotel. Breakfast is also good if there variety. Omelet, noodles delicious was over over We did not go to restaurant, but we had you reserve as we could do BBQ in room. The chef comes and makes it in the kitchen so you can eat freshly made. Customer service is also good. Stay the people of various countries, but so noisy feeling is no.
Good location , nice view from room , clean room and bathroom, staff was very friendly, our stay was excellent, food was great, recommend for all , will love to come back and stay
