Very nice resort. The view from my room was amazing. It has two pools but they close them at 7 in the evening which is stupid. Also, room service and house keeping are not up to the mark. Overall it has nice a view and is full of greenery. Its a better option for families and if you're travelling alone then avoid it.

During the new year, the parking lot is less, the car is sent up to the hill, there is one car, waiting for a long time, a little less staff The festival did not catch up.

Not so great, the place is under renovation, the place is outdated, it s not very convenient to commute to other places. The staff is helpful but don t even try to get answers or solutions on their website. It is terrible. They can do better over the phone and still it is a struggle.
The room is very spacious. There is a jacuzzi and the sea view from the jacuzzi is excellent.

Gorgeous resort, very close to Patong Beach. The balcony from our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean cove and we watched the sunset as many times as we could. Both pools are beautiful and the entire resort is clean, modern, and well manicured. Staff was very accommodating whether room service or hailing taxis. They even assist you across the busy street to get to the beach and shopping areas. I really enjoyed my stay and absolutely would recommend it.

It was a very nice hotel. The room was large and clean, the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. It is safe because there is a Japanese staff.
Not recommended for old folks or those with kids when it comes to accessing the buildings, rooms or amenities. There are close to 100-3000 steps to walk up depending on where your room is. Perfect for mountain hiking folks!
Rooms were upgraded due to difficulty in walking up. The upgraded rooms were large but they had old ones and new ones (we saw both). The bigger size rooms were not bad with 3 toilets.

Location was near Patong shopping which was the only plus point.

Across the road from Patong beach, minutes away from Bangla road, rooms are spacious and clean, beds are extremely comfy, lots of bathroom amenities offered and refilled, lots of different wifi connections with no need for logins, no need to bring a plug adapter to charge phones as there are usb connectors in the wall, and the breakfast buffet offers so much variety that caters to all visitors.
After experiencing awful and unprofessional service at another resort previous to coming to Diamond Cliff, I can see a significant difference in all aspects of the resort, making it a place i definitely will be returning to! :-)
The resort itself is big and beautiful. However, our suite was extremely humid and smelled badly (air conditioning turned on constantly on max didn't help).

This is a really great hotel. He deserves your money. The staff are family among themselves and very smiling. The hotel was sparkling. The gardens, pools, public areas were sparkling. The rooms are very nice and clean. Thank you a lot for diamond cliff family.

Whether the location is a drawback or advantage just a bit far from the downtown area depends on the user
Two pools have sliders that adults can use. It is a little inconvenient because it is built on a slope, but it can be moved by riding a cart. Wi-Fi is also available, and there is free kids' space. Kids Space can be used at any time after checkout until the flight time.

After staying at the sun sea and sand hotel and had a terrible experience we arrived here totally drenched from the rain !! They ran tonis and got towels and gave us the most amazing hotel room with jaccuzzi and everything ! We experienced an amazing holiday even though it rained all day for ten days and some amazing restaurants just up the road !!! Massages in town etc ! Thank you for a wonderful stay

The staff is absolutely friendly, we were a party of 8 and they were accommodating and looked after us so well....we left some of our personal belongings at reception on arrival and they got it to us immediately the next day. Thank you for your excellent service

This resort is beautifully located in the hills overlooking the ocean. Despite the location, staying here was not enjoyable as I had anticipated. The staff are not the most accommodating. To add to its woes, there is major construction and the hotel lobby is situated in a temporary position. The rooms are stuffy and the air conditioning does not work. The sheets and towels have a damp and staid smell. The pictures of this resort online are a far reality from what awaited us when we arrived. I would not recommend this resort to anyone until construction is completed, all the rooms are renovated, the air conditioning is improved and general upkeep of the rooms, from towels to proper smelling sheets, are duly undertaken for guests.
Very good hotel with a very friendly staff. Everyone was smiling and very polite. Wifi was very good, rooms were clean, one large and one very large pool. Large pool has water slide and in-pool bar. Honeymoon suite was very nice with a marvelous view. Overall i have not a single complaint about the hotel.

It was a pleasure to stay here with my family. We enjoyed many wonders of staying at a resort: fast, delicious room service which I would definitely recommend trying the Pad Thai. The water slide was incredibly fun and a very exhilarating experience - despite many people assuring me it was small compared to the ones at water parks. The people at the front desk however where very slow (around half an hour) in the process of checking us out, and made us considerably late for our plane, it was not missed - but definitely a close call! The bell boys where helpful in calling us taxis and tuk tuks, and the there was an in hand tourist advisor near the front desk which gave us splendid information and advice.
We booked a Vila we paid nearly $900 a night ona Saturday afternoon we had my brother and cousin join us for a meal in the room staff didn't let them in they stopped them.for nearly 2 hours arguing they can't come up calling all managers they do not allow gusts that really stinks after all that they had to pay $200 for a room they never took just to come in for lunch since they became "guests" of the hotel I never iny life heard of something like this before I understand if it was a working girl or something but my own brother?? Really you guys stink it's the last time we gonna stay with you.
After all rooms are old. Don't wast your time in this hotel to get to the Vilas you have to walk so much
The hotel is great. It is very very mountainous. Hotel is built into a slope purely. There are shuttles every minute from the lobby to take guests up the steep mountain. At half past twelve, however, is the last ride. So who is traveling longer, must climb the steep mountain on foot;)
Beautiful clean hotel with a large territory on the slope. Located across the road from Patong Beach. There are transfers to the beach. Very clean, vast territory, landscape design, a waterfall, a water park with two slides for children, an excellent well-equipped children's room, a chic restaurant. Different categories of rooms, including a jacuzzi and a villa.
Pros: Beautiful duplex villa with privacy, private pool and free minibar every day
The beach is very beautiful, large, and a large area, and most of the visitors are from Europe and East Asia, and there is no congestion
Very close to it is a halal Muslim restaurant and they eat delicious, as well as a massage place, a juice shop, a fresh lease of life, a mini market and a currency exchange store
Disadvantages: Turnips are always broken and the stairs are very long and tired beyond what you can imagine, and the place is far from malls and crowded places.
After our trip through Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand, we stopped in Phuket for some much needed rest and relaxation. We were so excited to stay at Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The resort is huge and very hilly so you will definitely get a workout going to and from your room and to the fitness center and pools. However, the hotel does provide golf carts if needed.
Customer service from the moment we arrived was wonderful. We loved the complimentary fruit coupon which allows you to go to the fruit shop and select up to 5lbs of your choice of fruit-- what a nice touch! We booked a room with two full beds which was gorgeous-- we were so happy that the beds came with mosquito nets and loved the furniture style. We had balcony which was perfect for enjoying the cool evening breeze.
If you are facing the ocean, the resort is at the farthest right end of Patong Beach and a bit of a trek to the main area. However, you can easily catch a taxi or rickshaw from the stand in front of the hotel. The main road is a bit dangerous to cross so we were thankful that the hotel provides a crossing guard to assist guests.
Though the beach area is small and not the best (you will have to cross the road) you can easily walk 10-15 minutes farther down the beach and find a nicer spot. If you don't mind tanning poolside, there are two main pools at Diamond Cliff. I recommend avoiding the children's pool and heading towards the other pool next to the restaurant. If you are looking for activities at the hotel, there is a mini-golf course which is pretty awesome. Overall, we really enjoyed our 3 day stay here and would definitely return again!

It was a very satisfying facility with a tropical resort feeling. The site is lined with facilities from the road along the coast to the slopes, so I think it's a room with a great view of the ocean from any facility. My room was relatively high, but there is always a cart for guests on the premises, so I can move around in any room. Also, the room is large and you can see the sea from the bath, so it was a great feeling to stay. Even if I forget the auto lock key in the room, the Japanese staff helped me, so I was relieved.

My partner and I booked through Luxury escapes, And was so happy when we got here and were greeted by the most lovely staff, stunning view and great location.
the ocean view pool / bar / cafe area is such a great place to relax, the range of cocktails they had was amazing, so after a day of walking around, sitting by the pool with a drink was a treat.
We got a buffet breakfast everyday which had a mixture of western and Thai foods, the ocean view Cafes food was very good and we also went to a couple of buffet dinners. We had a bbq seafood, and regional Thai night and they were very very good as well. Would highly recommend.
The Italian and Thai restaurants are also very nice. We had a set menu for both (as part of our package) but the menus for both look delicious.
Good locations, a 200 baht drive to Jungceylon.
The diamond spa is gorgeous as well. We had two treatments while we were there. Definitely something you have to do while there.

Only negative I had was that our room was quite a fair way to the back of the residence and as its on a cliff, there were lots of stairs. But there is a shuttle that takes you up. We just kept missing it. It was good exercise!

The hotel wasn't too close to the center of night life and bar/clubs and shopping centers, but a 20 minutes walk along the beach gets you there.

Pros: Excellent breakfast on the veranda overlooking the sea.
Cons: Mosquitoes, No private beach (opposite, across the road with heavy traffic there is a small, dirty and rocky beach where water flows from the hotel), Pools on the territory are only for children. Located on the side of a mountain. All the time you have to drag up and down the stairs. It would be possible to list the cons for a long time. In my opinion the hotel is absolutely not worth the money it asks for.
