We are coming to the end of a 10 night stay at The Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa,we have had an awesome time and have found ever member of staff friendly,polite and very helpful,We arrived as Thomas Cook had gone under and were were not sure what to expect but were put at ease by the night staff and met by Phil,one of the managers who explained the hotels position and gave us advise as to what to do next !!.The rooms are excellent and cleaned every day,the pool areas are amazing and the food is fantastic.10/10,we will be back

Pros: Very spacious rooms, we got the deluxe suite and it was plenty of space for family of 4. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff is very friendly. Newly renovated rooms. Very convenient to Patong Beach entertainment center.

Con: Lots of stairs and incline because it's on a cliffside. They do have a shuttle but if you want to walk not suitable for elderly, handicap, or those not conditioned for steps.

Picturesque resort hotel where you will not be overwhelmed with the crowd. Staff are ready to assist. No tips required. Amenities are good.

Good environment, friendly staff and large rooms.very quiet, 9bly issues I have are the rooms have suffered with wear and tear and the spa is overpriced.

Great resort. Friendly staff, lovely pools, goid restaurants and you're across the road from the beach.

Far from all the eatery. Good 30 min walk. Restaurant close by but expensive. Reasonable on the main drag. Hotel is about 1 hour from the airport on a cliff so if you are lack mobility it can be challenging. Rooms are good but the washroom could use a bit of redesign or positioning of the toilet. Very inconvenient location of the toilet. Never seen anything like this. For beach u need to walk about 15 mins to a public beach area and rent chair and umbrella. ok dest if you can walk up the hill

Diamond cliff resort and Spa has been an absolute delight. Only here for 2 nights but staff have been fantastic, catering for all of our needs. Only downside is that we weren't here long enough.

A beautiful five-star hotel, fully consistent with the declared category. 2 swimming pools - one for relaxation, the second for active swimming, a children's room with attentive staff. A bit monotonous breakfast, but certainly delicious.

Every thing was good about the resort. Infrastructre, facilities, room, breakfast, pool and location (5 min walking distance from patong beach). Just check in exp was bad. We reached the hotel at 9 and we were made to wait till 1:45 to get the room. Rest everything was beyond expectations. Loved the stay.

Is a hotel located between Kalim-Patong Beach, next to both Kalim Beach, Patong Beach, walking distance to 2 nearby beaches. There are also restaurants along the cliff with Nice view, beautiful wind, cool ..

Liked our room, other places had some issues. Staff wasn't friendly ( except security) and receiption was disorganised , but maybe it looked that way after awesome hotel we had in Bangkok.

I stayed at Diamond Cliff for 5 days and I just only wish the hotel had interesting programs during nights.

This hotel is located on a hill a little away from Patong Beach. There are two pools, and you can enjoy the private pool on a sunny day.
The place to eat breakfast is open and you can feel a pleasant atmosphere.
I think that it is very good to relax at the hotel on a sunny day. The area around the hotel is quiet.
The facility also has fitness and classrooms, so you can eliminate lack of exercise!

I would like to recommend it to Japanese people with multiple Japanese staff who are not good at English. The staff were educated and had a pleasant time!

Because the room was a little old, we couldn't change the shower in the bath or the door was hard.

There is a 30 minute walk to Bangla Road and you want to play in the city! It is a little far away for those who think.
* Shuttle buses from the hotel to the city center run several times every hour from 11:00

You can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes

There are 3 BARs (1 Sea bar and 2 pool bars). The pool bar was a great environment for drinking in a calm atmosphere. The bartender is staffed and the atmosphere is important.

Food beautiful service amazing great location so friendly room was so romantic with rose petals. Great for honeymooners

There are 2 swimming pools and the slides were great for the kids.

The perfect hotel to place your head in Phuket.
We stayed here for our wedding in Phuket for 5 nights for our small party of 9.
Staff: Friendly and Very Helpful. There were also security staff that helped you cross the busy main road.
Room: Very clean with air-con, we also had the room with a powerful Jacuzzi and great view of the beach. The bed was soft and comfortable.
Facilities: two beautiful pools, 3 restaurants, 1 bar, a gym and a tailors
Breakfast: Definitely worth it, fresh bread and fruit, pastries, hot food with sausages and eggs made how you want them. Also cold cuts and juices and coffee/ tea.
Extras: Everyone was given a voucher for 1KG of fruit from the shop on site, and there was a transfer to the rooms that were further away every 5 minutes.
The hotel made a beautiful spread on our bed for our honeymoon which was a really nice touch.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

It's a bit far from the city center, but that's it.

Nice hotel, but we booked romantic suite that is top of a very steep hill, and if your out after 23:30 they wont drive you to room and expect you to walk. Bathroom badly designed with no space in toilet and for some craxy reason 2 showers that you cant fit anyone in, no terrace or balcony either in whats supposed to be there better rooms. Electric goes off regularly and just not what you would expect from 5 star. Overall not best place, staff good, but very quiet and facilies poor.

Awesome stay! Beautiful hotel.. full of facilities! Hotel itself has so many things to explore. 2 pools .. Both are good. Pool bar is also there.. a relaxing stay.. clean room.! Good washrooms.. Service good. Cooperative staff! Beach at the walking distance.! Beautiful view from the hotel. Breakfast has a wide menu.. Hotel is spreaded over a hill so you might have to walk sometimes to go to the reception or outside the hotel. But they provide a tuk tuk service (free of cost) .. overall a good experience..

A massive resort with two swimming pools and a wonderful breakfast buffet so close to the beach. The decor was just perfect for a resort and the welcome drinks and fruit basket were a nice touch. Loved the garden & landscaping as well. What can improve is the speed of service as we waited quite a bit to get our bags delivered/picked up. This is perhaps the only issue that comes with staying in such a big resort. Shoutout to the gardener who helped us retrieved some items that were blown by the wind :)

Great hotel, booked through booking. We were supposed to provide a room on the first floor without any view from the window. Upon arrival, we settled on the second floor overlooking the ocean which was very nice! I think we were just lucky. The staff is friendly, helpful, the breakfast is chic. There are two pools, one with an ocean view, the only negative is that they close early at 7 pm. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. Fast check in, check out. It is necessary to take into account for staying at the hotel take 1000 baht per day, which is not specified in the booking. When checking out, the entire deposit is returned without problems. By the way, a birthday present from the hotel was given a cake, which was very nice! Many thanks to the staff. Were all happy!

There is also a Japanese staff, and it's relatively fine. It is also close to Patong Beach, and you can go to Junk Ceylon by Tuk-tuk for 200 (or shuttle bus from the hotel) for a return of 300 Baht. There are two swimming pools and it is a high ground hotel, but since the cart runs in the hotel, you can go to the lobby easily if you get on. There are lots of steps and stairs, so it's hard to say a stroller or ...

Just checked in to Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa. Very impressed, got a lovely flower juice on arrival, got ushered to our room to explain its features. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Good so far. Lovely clean resort.

Amazing place just 5 mins drive by tuk tuk or cab to the main patong beach and shopping area! Very nice and large resort with luxurious and spacious rooms! Very much enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast area was also very nice and had an amazing view of the sea! Only things that were slight downers were cause it's a resort, it's only got ceiling fans blowing hot air around you in the lobby area so you can really feel the humidity and heat around you.

It's also quite large and has a bunch of stairs and different sides to the hotel, so you need a cart to get around to the other side and swimming pool. Also, the rooms can be very dark with limited lighting inside compared to other places. Otherwise, very happy with the service and place. The tour guide was VERY helpful!

Great hotel. They are doing construction work at the moment but that hasn't intruded on anything. Lots of steps but they provide transport up and down on a regular schedule. No beach out front to speak off is the only downside breakfast and meals at the restaurants are of a high quality

Hotel would be great. Close to batong beach. Unfortunately, they are not ready for tourists yet. Expired drinks in the minibar and not everything from the hotel is currently open. Only after serious discussions with the manager was everything cleaned up. But you still notice it. If it hadn't been for the Covid crisis and this hotel had been operating normally, it would have got 5 stars. Because:

This place is weird. It's outwardly incredibly swanky, but then there's mold at face level in my shower, and it intermittently goes scalding hot and then cold. Also the only vegetarian item on the room service menu is spring rolls.

The place is very strategic ..
Food at the hotel varied and tasty ..
It's a shame there is one FO staff who is not good .. And the cleaning part is less responsive if the shampoo is no longer refilled ...

I've read a lot of good reviews before choosing this hotel and it was more than I expected!! Good helpful staff... The breakfast is AMAZING, the pool is so much fun. We booked all of our daytrips from the hotel and all were superb with transfers and they offered a free trip because we chose them for three daytrips. All in all the best hotel I've been to.... Ever!!

This is our 3rd stay at Diamond Cliff Resort and love it every time. The staff, waiters, security guards are all wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean and great views. The buffet breakfast is awesome and caters for everyone.
The best part is the fact that it's on a cliff. For those of you who DON'T like steep steps, this place is NOT for you. It's built into the side of a cliff hence the name Diamond CLIFF Resort. Gives us plenty of exercise!! The location is perfect as it's far enough out of Patong to walk and not be right in the hustle and bustle. This is the place we will keep coming back to.

I went there in March 2016. I used the pool villa, and the conclusion is very good. Hahaha Please do everything from the entrance to the pool villa to the buggy
It's private, but unlike other pool villas, it's super spacious.
It's big enough for up to ten people, you can have a shower of your choice, sour in the jacuzzi, there's a warm pool next to the pool, and there's a sauna.
The sunset scenery by the window is so beautiful that I think I took 100 pictures
There are many swimming pools in the resort, so I went to play.
Breakfast is also delicious haha
I want to go to the resort again, so I searched for it and left a review of the old trip ^^
It's a good street to eat dinner and digest and walk to Patong~

Honeymoon First Day. It seems that there are 5 Japanese front desk people. It is saved because it is resident until 12:00.

I was told that I did not make a reservation when I went to pick up the ABF BOX I had asked the day before. I lost one meal and there is a problem with communication between the staff.

Beautiful hotel... be prepared for uphill walks though... but prompt shuttle takes u up to rooms... book way in advance for jungcelyon shuttle...

Great place to chill out and relax :) The rooms are lovely and clean and the pool area in magnificent :) The dining area is beautiful and well set out and the staff are very friendly and helpful :)

Such a lovely resort to stay at, a bit of confusion when we landed at Phuket airport and found our driver hadn't turned up. Rang Diamond Cliff Resort who apologised for mix up, we paid taxi fare to get there and when we did they couldn't do enough to rectify error including free meal and drinks. Our suite was beautiful with a lovely view of Patong bay, staff always helpful and smiling. Lovely buffet breakfast and choice of five restaurants all serving gorgeous meals. Short walk to Patong with daily transport from resort. Too much to mention, a quality resort living up to its high standards. Always a pleasure to return to at the end of the day sight seeing. The resort sits on a hill with buggies running between reception and apartments making life easy. Sad to leave, definitely coming back.

Excellent stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great swimming pool, nice ambience. Bathtub in room was good. Great food and a nice buffet breakfast. Very Hospitable staff. Our Receptionist Abby recieved us well and made our checking in and out hasslefree.

The ocean view suite has the best view. There is a halfway distance to Patong. Junk Ceylon Tuk Tuk asking price 300B, 200B or 250B in negotiations.
You can ask for a drink at the pool. Smoothie 80 B, lounge cake 80 B ~, delicious, maybe cheaper than a decent store in town

FABULOUS- need we say more.Having been to many 5 Star hotels across the world- this ranks with the best.From Reception to the rooms to the regular shuttle up to the rooms- this cannot be faulted. Superb level of security all over the hotel, even two security men to stop the traffic when crossing the road to the beach- Now that is attention to detail. Very good breakfast menu. Huge room with balcony to enjoy a fantastic sea view in the evening.Five Star in every way- well recommended.

We went on a honeymoon having booked a room very different from the one we had once we arrived at the hotel, I complained at the reception and the only answer I got was that we had booked a different one, I showed him the photo of the reserved room and He said that it was not the one that I had reserved to which I replied that I did not understand then why they put a different photo to the one we had reserved. The uncle did not say anything else ... the cleanliness leaves much to be desired and the food too.

Nice room. Helpful, polite, depending on room we, had a nice view. Perfect distance to jungsalong shopping area. Resort can give u a good walking workout as it is very hilly. Great to burn off all that awesome food you eat. I would come back here again

I love this hotel. They gave us a free room upgrade with a jacuzzi. There are 2 pools, a water slide and so much more. The only problem with this hotel is the wifi, it keeps disconnecting.
