Great overnight stay. Excellent selection for breakfast. Many outdoor activities.
Fantastic food and staff are outstanding. Highly recomended
Gleneagles is always an absolute pleasure, from winter to summer it's somewhere to unwind and relax in great comfort.
A luxury retreat for all of the family. I can't quite explain the pleasure knowing that from 6 to 65 everyone is having a blast. As my 8 year told me this morning, it's 'awesome'.
Wellies, boots, trainers and heels. The lack of pretence is a joy.
We've been coming as a family for years and plan to come for many more.
Superb, fantastic, luxurious, relaxing, exhilarating and showcasing Scotland!!!!
Can't fault the personal service from the staff. Some parts of the hotel are undergoing renovation but otherwise tip-top.
interesting wonderful experience ever , food is beautiful , breakfast my favorite .. the place activates / people who work there.. kids had unforgettable experience, highly recommended ( 3 days in the summer) June to August best time ,, kids want to come back again good for couple s too . And book activities in advance and ( they are not for free) as I thought ..
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Great walks around the course. Very nice restaurant options.
Outstanding luxury. Still the finest hotel in Scotland
A lovely experience, enjoyed every moment, staff very attentive and friendly
Played the King's course on a beautiful warm sunny day - There is no better golfing experience!
A quick overnight 'splash and dash' on the way down the road, but enough time to check out the new Birnam Brasserie - very nice.
Recently attended this Hotel via work golf comp. Must say it is world class. Staff are amazing, golf courses are top notch
Had a great overnight stay as always. The refurbished cafe and Birnam Brasserie were both very nice. Didn't get a change to check out the American bar but will be back next month
The Spa at Gleneagles is really impressive. Facilities are excellent and service exactly as you would expect. Extremely pleasant experience.
Bacon roll welcome, great game of golf, fantastic set up
Beautiful place had a snack lunch in the Century Bar then went for a walk in the grounds
Kings and Queens courses both in great condition as usual
Very nice grounds and hotel good but to be honest I don t think it was anything special my son works as a chef In the Hilton Glasgow he s only 18 and he cooks us just as nice or even maybe better food on a daily basis when he s not working
Fantastic hotel with fantastic mappin & webb jewellers
The target customer won't be reading Google reviews that's for sure. We have a friend who is one of the managers. They pander to "A" listers, oligarchs. Even the north sea oil companies who block booked here in the 80's have scaled back to a function room. People can leave 10 grand tips here.....for us mortals its a Grand Hotel. Apparently theres been a 100 million refit. Sorry i couldnt spot it. Its big. Its roomy. No shortage of attentive staff. Strathern restraunt we dined in was big spacious and classy. Alas the 85 quid 3 course menu still needs supplements and side orders. Dont expect the little amuse bouche things you get elsewhere. Ain't paid for...isnt on your table. Careful not to fall off the deep end of your wine list. Annoyingly our 75 and 80 quid wines could be bought online for 15 and 16 quid respectively. Hey ho. So you come here and spend someone else's money...or you come here to have a sniff and a peak at how the high rollers roll. Theres better elsewhere for a lot less....just not on this scale....or with this famous reputation.
Went for a meal at The Dormy Club. Food was very good but expensive. But the service and atmosphere was more Wetherspoons than top service. Food good. Surroundings so so.
Been this place loads of times staff really friendly and had Christmas here
Just back from having afternoon tea
Superb loved every minute
perfect destination for the golfer dad to dazzle non-golfer mom and young children with falconry, archery, gun dogs, etc so he can play back to back rounds with no guilty conscience. 7 restaurants and bars with friendly staff to choose from also makes a long stay possible which ups dad's chance for a third round.
Absolutely amazing place!
The staff is very friendly and professional!
The Talisker suite is a dream!
You'll have access to falconry, horseback riding, great trails to walk, heated pools(indoor and outdoor)... And the breakfast... My god... So many options!
Loved it! Exceptional facilities, menu, service, and atmosphere. Save up for a stay here and fully enjoy it!!
Fabulous place. Ate a great snack lunch in the bar - good value for money.
Fantastic hotel. Beautiful setting in the Pertshire countryside.
Amazing place had the most fabulous Weeknd everything was perfect
Very nice meal. Very nice building. Very nice grounds.
Best hotel for families in Scotland. Although the rooms and the hotel could be a little bigger
Just a fantastic venue, great food and enjoyable golf
I absolutely love coming here. I come every year to a house in glenmor. There is so many activities to do here. Love it
had a fantastic afternoon tea for my mother in-laws bithday venture and staff excellent
Stunning setting, beautiful interior. Incredible facilities... but some prohibitively expensive. Spa and massage was incredible. Outdoor pool a bit small but nice to visit.
Breakfast choices are vast but dissapointed by the quality of some of the meat produce. The fish and cheese and fruit options made up for it though.
A wonderful experience.
Andrew Fairlie restaurant visited for our wedding anniversary. Food was outstanding, locally sourced and well presented. Staff were attentive and made us a special dessert.
Class! Amazing for golf lovers and very nice hotel to stay. Volunteered there for a day but will definitely be back. Such a classy place with so much history associated with it.
Pure luxury from the moment we arrived. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the facilities are outstanding, the hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained and in an idyllic setting. There is so much to do that we hope to return as we couldn't fit it all in to our weekend.
We had a late afternoon meal in the Dormy house. All very enjoyable. Excellent menu for the children. Walked through the grounds and Hotel, the place is very well presented. Well done Gleneagles.
Delicious Sunday lunch at the Strathearn today. Attentive staff, beautiful surroundings and great company! Thank you.
Had afternoon tea here with my wife and kids we were a bit worried about how the child s. would behave in such a posh place but they were great. My son has a nut allergy and they even made some cakes specially for him.
Food was amazing staff were lovely.
Fantastic old world ambiance! Step back in time when elegance and class reigned supreme! High tea is one of the best and falconry is a must.
Wonderful hotel, great team especially Ronnie who drove us around.
Absolutely Fabulous hotel. Made us feel very special
Excellent hotel, great bars, restaurants, spa, gym, shooting and activities.
Nice place to stay. Beautiful environment. Good for family staying and golf player...
brilliant relaxed atmosphere was concerned it would be a bit stuffy but staff were lovely afternoon tea was delicious had i known thatvyou could haveca box to take what you didnt eat away id maybe not made such a pig of myself x
The best of the best, it really is. The hotel does everything in an understated way, perfectly.
It is not cheap. The quality comes at a price, as a special occasion it is worth it.
Outstanding venue and 5* Hotel and recreation visitor experience. So much to recommend from Afternoon Tea to Golf and Falconry
Attentive, Clean, Crisp and an experience that lives up to its expectation
Fabulous night at Andrew Fairleys. A taste sensation
Kings course had a warm welcome and a monster of a course. Was soaking wet with standing water and bunkers were hard with little sand. Great greens.
The pools are nicely heated, the food is fantastic, the beds are cosy and comfortable, and wonderful, friendly staff.
