Gleneagles is always an absolute pleasure, from winter to summer it's somewhere to unwind and relax in great comfort.

A luxury retreat for all of the family. I can't quite explain the pleasure knowing that from 6 to 65 everyone is having a blast. As my 8 year told me this morning, it's 'awesome'.

Wellies, boots, trainers and heels. The lack of pretence is a joy.

We've been coming as a family for years and plan to come for many more.

The target customer won't be reading Google reviews that's for sure. We have a friend who is one of the managers. They pander to "A" listers, oligarchs. Even the north sea oil companies who block booked here in the 80's have scaled back to a function room. People can leave 10 grand tips here.....for us mortals its a Grand Hotel. Apparently theres been a 100 million refit. Sorry i couldnt spot it. Its big. Its roomy. No shortage of attentive staff. Strathern restraunt we dined in was big spacious and classy. Alas the 85 quid 3 course menu still needs supplements and side orders. Dont expect the little amuse bouche things you get elsewhere. Ain't paid for...isnt on your table. Careful not to fall off the deep end of your wine list. Annoyingly our 75 and 80 quid wines could be bought online for 15 and 16 quid respectively. Hey ho. So you come here and spend someone else's money...or you come here to have a sniff and a peak at how the high rollers roll. Theres better elsewhere for a lot less....just not on this scale....or with this famous reputation.

perfect destination for the golfer dad to dazzle non-golfer mom and young children with falconry, archery, gun dogs, etc so he can play back to back rounds with no guilty conscience. 7 restaurants and bars with friendly staff to choose from also makes a long stay possible which ups dad's chance for a third round.

Absolutely amazing place!

Absolutely amazing place!
The staff is very friendly and professional!
The Talisker suite is a dream!
You'll have access to falconry, horseback riding, great trails to walk, heated pools(indoor and outdoor)... And the breakfast... My god... So many options!

Stunning setting, beautiful interior. Incredible facilities... but some prohibitively expensive. Spa and massage was incredible. Outdoor pool a bit small but nice to visit.

Breakfast choices are vast but dissapointed by the quality of some of the meat produce. The fish and cheese and fruit options made up for it though.

A wonderful experience.

Pure luxury from the moment we arrived. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the facilities are outstanding, the hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained and in an idyllic setting. There is so much to do that we hope to return as we couldn't fit it all in to our weekend.

We had a late afternoon meal in the Dormy house. All very enjoyable. Excellent menu for the children. Walked through the grounds and Hotel, the place is very well presented. Well done Gleneagles.

Had afternoon tea here with my wife and kids we were a bit worried about how the child s. would behave in such a posh place but they were great. My son has a nut allergy and they even made some cakes specially for him.
