We purchased an extended warranty thru DePaula Chevrolet and was told it covers everything from "bumper to bumper except the bumpers" -- they LIED. It covers nothing!!! I will never ever deal with this dealership again! I'm still paying for the so called warranty which doesn't cover what they said --- it covers NOTHING! I'm so angry with the lies that come from this dealership! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!! LIARS!!!!!!

The salesman and I had a minor misunderstanding about an optional remote entry key - the truck didn't come with one and I thought it did -- after a very short discussion with a manager they agreed to install one at no charge-- it's so nice to do business with a dealer that wants to make your buying experience a pleasant one

Please do not go to this Chevy dealership for ANY servicing reasons if you want to save time and money. Oh and don't bother making an appointment, they don't have a system in place to deal with appointments nor do they care. I have been to this dealership twice for servicing. The first time, I was new here and I needed a front license plate mount installed on my car as well as an NY state inspection. They charged $90 just for the plastic mount that snaps into place (no screws, drilling etc). Later, I went online to find that part for $26. Furthermore, an NY state inspection as well as installing a license plate mount should take an hour at most (in my experience at my Toyota dealership, it took about 35 mins without an appointment). At DePaula, I waited for 2 hours, to have a plastic mount put in and have an inspection done. Furthermore, my tires were almost ready to be replaced, but they passed the inspection with no issues and they insisted that I spend $900 to get my tires replaced. I later went on to replace my tires for $450 before the winter with a longer warranty on the tires than what they were offering.
In the second episode, the car's battery died. This makes sense as the car is getting old, however the voltage was still fluctuating so I called and asked if the alternator might be an issue. They said, the car has a smart shut-off so voltage fluctuation is normal but they would check it if I came in. So I made an appointment and showed up 10 mins before my appointment. The rep proceeded to tell me that they will charge money for this and then told me it would about 45 mins to 1 hour. After sitting in the waiting room for 1 hour and 45 minutes, I went to the service desk, where they told me, that the technician is almost done and they will come see me in 10 mins. About 25 minutes later, they announced my name on the PA to come to the service desk instead of walking to the waiting room like they do for everyone else. In that meeting, he went on to tell me that the alternator is not good (which is ALL I came for) and then went on to tell me about $1000 more worth "maintenance" that needs to be done. I declined the repair and he told me it would take 5 minutes to get the car out front. This "5 minutes" took another 20 minutes to get my car out front. Once that was done, neither of the service reps were at the desk and my keys were just sitting there. I waited at the service desk for about 5 mins and then they announced the name of the rep on the PA who took about 5 mins to show up and simply hand me my keys. So unless you've taken the day off or decided you're going to take a loaner car, DO NOT get your service done here.

I went for the routine service and I was passed around to several different reps and each time a new one came out it was to tell me yet another problem with the car. I don't know how a whole inspection was completed on the car only to realize a check engine light was on after already delivering the full results of the inspection.
Ultimately, you might not have been able to change the bad news but the sloppy delivery of the information and dealing with 3 different handlers was poor customer service.
Salesperson Joe F does an exceptional job working with you and I highly recommend him. He really subscribes to exceptional customer service and makes you feel at home. I have had the occasion to need service and I was quite surprised by the follow up provided by Dennis W and the service team. I was provided a loaner vehicle for the duration of the service and not being stranded with no vehicle is a hugh matter.

I was in and out for my inspection. They also sprayed my car down with disinfectant when I arrived. Everyone wore masks.
I went here to get a new lease and there were specifics I needed. 1 that i needed 3 row seating, 2 the second row to have bucket seats, 3 I needed a back up camera, and 4 I needed an automatic car starter. I also was not paying 500 or 600 a month for this car. I went to other dealerships and they couldn't deliver this to me. Kurt made it work and was very upfront to me about everything. I managed to get a Traverse with so many features i don't know what to do with them all. The tech guy went through with me and helped learn about all the features and how to use them. Also the service waiting area is amazing they have tablets for the little one and starbucks coffee for you.

Our visit to DePaula was a great one. We came in and looked around, we weren't harrassed in the parking lot, but there was welcome faces when we went looking for help. Went for a test drive and loved loved the new camaro. Dennis Miller made the deal as easy as can be and we purchased it that day. Keith was there to let us know all our options with the new car and made everything flow. We have done businees for years with Dario and since Dennis and Dario are a team it was terrific doing business with them again! Keep up the good work guys.

never going back here. went in to check out a Tahoe, brought my truck along as a trade. KBB values my truck in its current condition at $15K and their tahoe @ $28,500. They wanted $32K and offered me a trade of $11K. claimed this was a fair price. didn't even offer to talk to a manager. after several phone calls in an attempt to "schedule" another meeting with the Sales manager, I declined. I will not waste my time if the sales manger cant call me back to talk about their BS pricing over the phone before I will sit with him. Hey Depaula, your sales tactics are flawed and unethical. Do NOT trust this dealership...They claim to be a no haggle dealer, perhaps thats true but they sure will screw you over if you let them.
This place doesn't care about you or your car. They just want your money. I've never (and will never) purchase a vehicle from this dealership, but I've met numerous people who have bought cars from here only to have issues almost immediately after they leave the lot. If you bring it back to be serviced, chances are they'll keep it for a long time and you'll leave with the same problem. I've seen it first hand. STAY AWAY FROM DEPAULA.
2 hrs. with an appointment for the free oil change and tire rotation...while I watch 2 other people come in after me and leave before me ...You can keep the rest of your free oil changes not interested

I went to DePaula to buy a car, I was expecting the same s**t, like someone pushing me in buying the car he wanted to sell and not the one I was interested into. Boy was I wrong! And the whole experience has a name and last name: John Clay. He's the man. He completely exceeded my expectations. Not only patient, knowledgeable, serious and funny at the same time, but also honest and open to give you a perspective of the whole process from YOUR point of view, the point of view of someone who doesn't know a lot about cars but doesn't want to be screwed. A couple of examples: I went there thinking to buy a certain model of a sedan. It was more ora fixation than knowledge of the matter. John helped me understand that there were other options I could explore and other models of different automakers that could fit better the way I daily use the car. So we found one, I tried it but I noticed a sound from the transmission, like a flebile whistle in the background, nothing major. I told him about it and in no matter of time the car was lifted and a tiny leakage was found. I could wait few days for that car to be repaired, but I needed it the same day! John patiently helped me find another couple of cars that I tried and at the end I bought one. It's been two weeks that I have it: it runs perfectly smooth, never been happier. Thank you John, if every other salesman is like you DePaula is the paradise for car buyers!!!

Make promises and don't keep them. Tell stories about how they buy used cars at auction that make you fall out the chair laughing. Tell you the deal is good to go and pull you're credited report so it goes against your credit and then change the story again.
