Family friendly and a great way to spend the day. With food trucks and beer sold on site this is for the whole family. Super cool new tiger exhibit and I have never seen elephants swim. The elephants put on a great show another must see.

The walk was nice but all the animals look sickly and unhappy. The water was all very green from bacteria and algea. Almost all the animals were facing the backwall of the exhibit as if depressed and not wanting to be looked at.

Yes it is expensive but so so worth it! I did zoo lights and truly enjoyed ever moment. The tigers are so cool and the fact that they can walk over you... um yes please. Also the elephant enclosure is awesome. It was a great time for the whole family

This is a nice zoo. The exhibits are pretty good, most of them are on the smaller side. The food is okay, we don't always eat when we go just because it's not really good. There's never anything new. We would rather go to the museum, which is nice because it's right next door.

I love coming to the zoo just because a variety of animals you dont see everyday. Everytime my family and I do come majority of the animals are in there exhibit to where you are not able to view the animals as much .
I come to realize I appreciate zoos just due to danger the animals have to face in there natural habitat . It's almost like a bitter sweet situation.
Denver zoo is all in all okay.

The Zoo is a decent place to take children too for a day outing. The animals are well cared for and the food they offer is adequate. Though if your looking to cut expenses I would bring a lot of snacks or eat a large breakfast or lunch before venturing into the Zoo. Also bring comfortable shoes for if your at the zoo, you're likely to be doing plenty of walking and will be on your feet for the whole day if your with kids.

Why I liked this place:

Why I liked this place:

1) There were a lot of Pokestops, and I even caught a dratini.

3) Zoo lights was cool; they were even willing to allow us to use our passes on another day, due to bad weather (Dec 20, 2016 never forget that blizzard)

We spent 5 wonderful hours here strolling and looking at the animals. There is a lot of space for animals and their rooms are clean. We haven't seen bears and tigers as they were sleeping at noon. Finding a parking place was a really difficult task. We were driving circles for 15 minutes until the moment when one family decided to leave the zoo. I'd recommend coming early in the morning. They open at 9 AM.

The staff are doing a great job ensuring people follow the directions and go the correct route when walking around the zoo. Which is great because a lot of people can't follow directions, even with marked arrows on the ground. Bathrooms are nice and clean, with many hand sanitizing stations throughout the park. Despite the crowds, still a good experience during the pandemic.

Always love taking the kids to the zoo but am constantly balking at the prices... There is no justification for the exorbitant prices and the food that is sold there is also not worth the cost!!! Other than that, Love it!!

Great zoo though parking can be limited in the mornings. Their tiger, ape, and elephant exhibits are world class. They have a lot of small shows with that animals that are informative and not cruel to the animals. They do fun seasonal events like their trick-or-treating in the zoo and Christmas lights.

Big enclosures for small animals, small enclosures for big animals. Small enclosure for the lion and 6 tigers. Monkeys in small cages watching other monkeys across the way live freely. No water for the polar bear. Many animals with chunks of fir missing. Young mountain goat missing fur and shaking.

Love the new additions to the zoo but was sad to see the big cats building was down for renovation. Docked one star for the lack of a second entrance. It s sorely needed with the huge parking lot.

Great place to take the family and the shows are so fun and educational. A little on the expensive once you're in but great people and most importantly you can actually see the animals unlike other Zoos that they have the animals in the back or they are sleeping in the back, or what have you. Great place over all!!

Made me sad to see how small the enclosures are for the animals. Hopefully they get some things fixed. The zoo in Colorado Springs is definitely better, plus the animals are happier.

I love the Zoo. Prices are not too high for entertainment, they try and provide a good experience and help wildlife at the same time, and above all else they try to expand often so each experience isn't an exact duplicate every time.

Very good that could move into the ranks of great zoos with some effort. Imaginative exhibits, some perhaps a bit too small. Food options could be improved quality-wise. Train ride is cute but should be expanded.
