Delta Ocean Pointe Hotel Review

My dad was staying here and said he really enjoyed the experience. The hotel has a great view of the inner harbor, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is close to downtown. They also run a shuttle service you can take into town if you don't want to drive.

Is a 4-star hotel located on the edge of Victoria Bay, Victoria, Canada. Big bed, comfortable bed, nice view, clean bedroom. Good bathroom Complete bathroom equipment, good service

Nice hotel but mandatory pay parking is a bit annoying.

The Delta Ocean Point hotel overlooks beautiful scenery. There is very wonderful service and great food

Very bad customer service experience in the 2017/2018 New Year's Eve . Once we reported it , a manager called us to apologies .

Very nice hotel. Excellent customer service. Shuttle drivers are very funny, friendly and accommodating. Clean, modern rooms, great views as well.

What an amazing experience. Not only is the hotel in a great location, but the staff is very kind and helpful. The shuttle is a great way to get to the city center quickly or to be picked up. It s an easy walk across the bridge to the city center. Spend the extra money and get a room with a Harbour view.. the Harbour is very active with pontoon planes landing frequently as well as the boat taxis.
I would stay here again without doubt.

Friendly staff and good service, a great location and a comfortable bed but we were awakened four times in the night by people walking past our room talking in a normal tone of voice. The front door was virtually transparent to sound.
Disappointing.

Location is perfect... Removed enough and close enough to get everywhere. Free shuttle into and out of downtown. Water taxi from the hotel as well. Great restaurant for breakfast and a patio with amazing view of parliament building.

Went to the in hotel restaurant "Lure." The food was decent, looked gourmet but I'm not entirely sure it was that special especially considering the price. Everything was 1.5 to 2 times the price it should be. Great staff, but definitely a tourist trap. A great lure.

Made an appointment at the spa. Staff were surly and not friendly considering we were booking a treatment for two at no small cost. Should be an oasis for the whole experience, from the first encounter. Also tried to swipe my card three times as apparently the machine wasn't working (for a hold). We'll see how the actual spa experience is!

We stayed here for one night and extended our stay for one more night. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating, and very friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was an enjoyable stay.

Amazing location...can use something to keep all the doors from slamming

Very nice hotel, but a grade school hockey team was staying there as well and the pool, hot tub and sauna were overrun by them. Location is excellent, great view.

This finely appointed hotel is right on the waterfront. Concierges extremely helpful. Great staff. Pick up a pickle boat to ride across the bay!

This is a very nice hotel right on the harbour. It's across the harbour from downtown Victoria but within an easy 5 minute walk. We stayed there for a staff retreat and had a higher end room but got put on the back side of the hotel (overlooking construction and a car lot) whereas we were promised harbour view when we reserved the booking, which was very disappointing as the harbour views are spectacular. Other than that it all went very well. Lots of parking ($20/night) under ground. 2 electric vehicle spaces but I didn't see any plug-ins for EV's which kind of defeats the purpose. Very decent restaurant ($17 for a good hamburger) downstairs, and an in-house Starbucks as well.

Excellent view out into the harbor, amazing service and great food. Even the breakfast was tasty.

I was there for a work event and found the space to be well appointed. The room was a strange shape and slightly difficult find, but nothing overwhelming. Food was fantastic and service staff were excellent. Also appreciated the shuttle service back to the harbor and the very professional driver.

Stayed here for our one-year wedding anniversary. Friendly staff, clean and well furnished rooms, comfortable bed, and a beautiful view too! Highly recommend this location when visiting Victoria.

Large group visited The Lure for a professional event. Table outside had a great view of the Harbour. Drinks and appetizers were good and reasonably priced. Service was courteous and efficient.

We stayed in their Harbour View room and the view was absolutely stunning. A Very big shout out to Trisha, Paul and especially Rushi for making our stay excellent in every way. Beautiful building, very clean room with really comfortable bed, convenient access to Victoria downtown, great amenities ... Also really surprised at how many people we talked to there who have worked there for decades! They must be doing something right to inspire that kind of employee loyalty. Thank you for helping us have a great time in Victoria.

This place has a really nice view of Wharf street and a nice restaurant and bar. The rooms were exceptionally great.

Great harbor side hotel. Well located and very clean and quiet.

The customer service here is always top notch. This time we brought our dog, and the service was incredible. Cookies, a dog dish, and bags all in your room. Each time you come and go there are lots of smiles and cuddles for your furbaby.

Brilliant location - excellent service and harbour views second to none. Extremely comfortable and well equipped rooms make for a memorable stay.

Wow service is amazing here. The rooms are comfortable and the lounge is accessible all times of the day. Nature surrounds you and every walk is amazing by the water. Yurina made these cute pikachu origami for the kids. Tennis courts are nice as well as the pool!!! What an amazing weekend away from home.

Breathtaking waterfront view. Clean room. Friendly staff. Easy parking.

Location is very nice, its thinly staffed reward, requires self services and there are issues in Marriot rewrad point allocation, mine was missed out.

The food is great at the restaurant on location, burger was 7 out of 10.
Rooms are clean and very well laid out.
Would happily return.

Hotel itself is great as we always stay aytime visiting Victoria.
Lure restaurant however needs attention regarding menu and food quality. I think chef loves too much salt ...

We had a short but wonderful stay at this beautiful location. Looking forward to being back in a couple of days.

Bed unmade when we checked in. Our view was of the parking lot. The other side of the hotel has a fantastic view of the harbour so be sure to ask for that. The room itself is great and the staff are very welcoming. Very short walk to downtown.

Nice facilities with a hot tub, swimming pool, spa and a gym. Good views if you choose the east side. It's a little weird that they don't provide body wash but body lotion in their bathrooms. Everything else is pretty good. Employees are helpful. Free shuttles from hotel to take you to places. There's also a restaurant/bar.

Spacious, and comfortable rooms with great amenities even despite the current restrictions. The staff is friendly, and very helpful as well!

Beautiful hotel and facilities. Gorgeous view of Victoria's inner harbour. The Lure restaurant has fantastic food. The outdoor patio is awesome.

The only downside was that I only stayed one night. The drinks were really good. The staff was really nice and friendly. I didn't have a mouse with me and they went out of their way and unplugged one of their mice from the back computers and gave them to me. The views are amazing and the late night room service is awesome. You get back from the bar late at night and you get the munchies....bam pizza at your door!

Good location and service from hotel staff. Ate in the hotels restaurant and was very happy with the food and service, I would rate as 4.5 stars for the dining. Highly recommended.

I really appreciated the fact that the kitchen made my meal in a different manner to ensure that there was no cross contamination with my allergies.
