Canterbury League Club Review

My family and I come to this place for Yum Cha at the Dynasty, so my review will be mainly based on that. Yum Cha is good and the food they serve is fresh. It's not always busy so we don't wait for too long (apart from public holidays). The club itself is well-maintained and modern, and again, the staff (those that sign you in) are usually polite, well-mannered, and helpful.

Very nice place with good atmosphere. Great food, entertainment and great customer services.

Had dinner there last night with the family for father's day. I had the lamb shanks and it was dry hard and tasteless. The food been going down hill .

Today 1/1/20 I had dinner with my family at Bistro.... I and my family was so much disappointed with the food quality. It was so poor and tasteless. this is our second time We are so so much disappointed with the food. Fish and Chips was too oily and fish was not fresh. Roast beef was totally tasteless, and veggies was not properly cooked. So much disappointed.

Renovated outlets. Larger gaming area and 24 hour gym. Close to transport.

I haven t been here for a few years. Today, I have tea with my friends at the Chinese restaurant. I feel that there is no change and the meal is very good.

Wouldn t accept my job application, I passed all the questions on the phone and didn t let me have an in-person interview when I have 5 years experience in that outlined job, so I assume they have some rude management and my outlook is reflected on others Seek reviews.

We ate at the Bistro tonight. The food was lovely, service was quick, it is reasonably priced as well. Canterbury Leagues is really taking shape. Its looking great so far!. Can't wait for all the renovations to be complete. It's certainly Belmore's gem.

Valentines days dinner ordered the jewel of the sea it s just 3 Small prawns cut in half And the rest are chips and a tinny salad $40 bucks what a rip off we thought we were having sea food and no option for bread you have to buy jacked up price pizza style if you want bread this cub has lost the plot can someone remind them this is belmore

Great place for a catch up. Plenty of choices cafe, Italian, buffet or Chinese

Very nice place with good atmosphere. Several choices of restaurants with good food. If you eat too much always you can go to the gym which is a part of Canterbury League.

Due to the heat of the day, Bertie and I decided we would go up to Canterbury Leagues club, bertie was already a member of the Lakemba club, the younger second cousin club.

I had to renew my membership, it lapsed four years ago, but five bucks and a terrible photo and I was in!

First stop the sports bar for a free glass of Tooheys, not my favourite beer, but still, free beer with your five buck membership can t be sneezed at!

We followed this up with a two entry chance to win a trip to Los Vegas, as it turned out the bar person did not handle the issuing of entry forms well, we found out later she was mistaken in how the process worked, no entry submitted :(.

We then decided after a couple of quick games of Keno to spend a massive 5 dollars playing roulette, luckily Bertie knew the deal but we lost it all.

After a dabble on the pokies and another 5 bucks down , we realised that you can swipe your membership card for a chance on the giant fruit machine with a pull handle - a bit of fun. (didn't win anything - this time) but in the second chance draw, feeling lucky .

Back to the sports, lucky (this time) for us the bar person was switched on and handed us the forms to fill out for entry to Los Vegas, x 4 entry s as we got the special promo, Quincy, rather refreshing rice wine based drinks. Will order this drink again! Especially if it wins us the Vegas trip .

Good club to hangout and dine in, u can also play slot machines. I love this place

GREAT CLUB SPECIALLY IF YOUR ARE A(DOGGIE) GOOD FOOD AND THE POKIES ARE PAYING MORE OFTEN ..

Bakehouse has nice food and friendly service. I had the Bohemian Summer Salad which was delicious! Decent prices and generous servings.
Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful on sign in to club.

Wow such a beautiful club not been there in ages the Lavico restaurant superb food was beautiful great service

@ Bistro and asked if we could add cheese to the garlic bread, she checked with her coworker and said yes it's fine but at an extra fee. We agreed to the $2 extra fee. This is what the chef sent out. 1 slice of cheese on a single plate and the waiter said we don't put cheese on our garlic bread. Pathetic. We got our refund but still staff need training. We ordered the lamb shanks and they were tougher than a German built tank. Terrible experience on our first time here.

Very nice and comfortable League club.. If u live nearby Canterbury area u will need to be their members for $5 annually.. Always love going in the Chinese restaurant Dynasty for Yum Cha, few days ago been there with a big group for dinner and food are really nice and good portion. Price is a little above average but with the great table service and comfortable level. Its totally worth it.

Good atmosphere. The bars, the restaurants, the gym, and the WiFi makes it hard to leave sometimes. I'm saving one star for when the cocktail bar and general construction is over.

Absolute stunner of a venue which is the result of a $100m redevelopment project to Canterbury Leagues Club making it competitively a south west destination worth exploring! You re welcomed at the grand entrance to the warmth of sunlight beaming through the atrium roof that radiates tranquility from the fountains and greenery.

To the left is the Bakehouse which is now open 24 hours presenting a menu for it s clientele of casual diners, in-house gym clientele and leisure visitors!

The service team today led by Andrew and Bradley, reflect the personable warmth you would expect from a community based hangout where it s just as important ingredient to local clientele as are the herbs and spices used in their recipes.

The choice is varied to suit the vegetarian diet offering more than just token dishes, for the health conscious - protein boost add-ons to your smoothies and shakes or salads are available and the rest is couched in comfort food of classics and on-trend indulgent treats. Essentially it s a bakehouse and everything is delivered fresh daily, the dessert range an art in itself.

Portion sizes of entrees and mains are quite substantial making it very easy to turn into share plates. Highlights for me were the CALAMARI, the BIG BREAKFAST and ANTIPASTO PLATTER!

All in all, service, menu, and the complex as a whole deliver an experience hard to match!

Nice leagues club with friendly staff. We had dinner at the newly renovated bistro with a group of 12 and had no issues with tables. The play area near the bistro was a hit with the kids. We had the minestrone soup, quinoa and Cauliflower salad, kids penne Bolognese and kids cheeseburger. All were reasonably priced and well sized. The kids meals also came with a free activity pack and soft drink. We will definitely be back!

The food is delicious. There is also a pachinko on the upper floor.

More stars for less pokies but it has a lot of food options

We went to the Dynasty Chinese restaurant for lunch a couple of times. The restaurant was good. But the staffs at the League Club (where you have to sign in) weren't friendly, which was disappointing. I think the restaurant would do better if it has its own premise.

The place very nice and a bit busy on the weekend the food amazing especially the salads

Joshua Ribeiro is a worker here and i caught him stealing from a little old lady, he pushed me down and walked off! i came back the next week and he was still working there.

Dont forget to check out the decadent desserts..
This place is opened 24/7 and is quite casual..

We were told they do amazing breakfasts which we will be trying out soon..

What's happened to the friendly atmosphere the club used to have?

Great club just needs a cinema and swimming pool and I would never have to leave it.

The service here is excellent and the food was pretty decent. I would recommend the chicken or beef shish with salad. I would go back here in the future.
