Delta Ocean Pointe Hotel Review

Wonderful views. Clean and very comfortable room. Felt safe there as well with all of the great measures in place.

This place is a treasure. Great staff, clean clean clean rooms, a very well run property. This is the best hotel in Victoria.

Best side of the harbour. Great rates. Military courtesy. Luxury without paying luxurious rates. That view!

The location is good, the view is good. The concierge, bellman, room service is good. But the restaurant is severly understaffed. It has one hostess and 2 servers on a Saturday morning. Jesus came back before our server did. It's not our server's fault. There was simply too many guests and not enough employees. As I'm writing this review, we have waited over 35 mins. I have to think what other options I have next time I visit.

Service not up to par with other expensive hotels. Paid for ocean view room with king bed, when checking in was told I was getting two queens. Then they gave me a king with no ocean view and said that was all that was available. Called front desk asking for refund since they charged me more for an ocean view, then magically a room was available but no explanation was given as to why the room wasn't provided in the first place.

Lunch at Lure restaurant. Roast chicken breast burger with spinach salad was good. Prices are higher than average. There's a great outdoor patio with view of the inner harbour and downtown.

Great location, helpful staff reasonably priced we'll be back

Attended the VICA Christmas luncheon, food was excellent as usual
