Was here for a conference. The room was great. Quiet and clean. Nice hotel. The restaurant was nice and has great happy hour prices on drinks!

Nice place for drinks. Great view. Waitresses we're pleasant. The DJ kinda sucked - it maybe I just don't like that music.
I was making a food delivery with work. Friendly staff!
Location is across the Johnston street bridge. Nicely located for views of the water. When checking in the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had the amenities you would expect. The outlet in the side table by the bed would not work? However the power strip in the room did work, so, extremely minor inconvenience. Located very close to downtown Victoria. Parking was very easy.
The location is perfect with both a fantastic view of the downtown area plus being very walkable as it's just like being downtown. Being a short walk across the bridge meant a quieter location. The shuttle bus was a fantastic service too. Front desk staff were well-informed and courteous. The West song walkway is an delightful path to walk along and as it's paved and wide it's also great for guests with mobility issues.
Stayed as part of BC Ferries promo. Such a lovely hotel, with friendly staff and so accommodating for my 2 big dogs. Shirt walk across to downtown area makes for a wonderful view of the city. Pleasant ly surprised and happily recommend.
Cleanest rooms around! Employees really know how to make a guy feel good!
Staff seems friendly and room looks nice with a great view of the ocean. But you open the refrigerator and there is month old avocado and almond milk lying there to welcome you to the house of horrors. The only amenities in the room are the sad little tray of tea bags and coffee sachets with 2 bags of tea and disposable cups for drinking. If that is how they keep clean what is clearly visible, I have grave concerns about their linens. Would not be staying here again.
Hospitality is hard to beat and the rooms overlooking the harbour is amazing.
Very clean in a wonderful ocean front surroundings.
Friendly staff very welcoming.
Service was excellent, rooms and spaces used were very clean. Very good experience overall
We just had our third stay with this hotel and its been perfect every time! First off, we have dogs and its such a relief to be able to take them with us on getaways. The team here, is very dog friendly, everyone at the front desk and bell/valet team loved our dogs. Even the housekeeping team didn't mind them and thought they were cute. We've stayed in other hotels before with our pets, that have claimed they are pet friendly, but have loads of restrictions/employees that are not thrilled with us and there is never any of that here. We really appreciate it that our fur babies are treated like they are part of our family when we stay. The beautiful harbor walkway and grassy area in the back of the hotel is also so convenient to taking our doggies for walks and getting in great views of sunrises and sunsets.
I think this is the best place to stay when in Victoria. You just have amazing harbor views and at night you can see the parliament house and other structures lit up. If you are an elite member, the club lounge is awesome (full breakfast in the morning and heavy apps in the evening). Everything that we have ordered from room service or Lure has been so tasty and the pool area is fantastic if you have kids. The property itself is beautiful, I love the cherry blossoms in the driveway during spring time, and the lights on the grounds at night are just so romantic.
All of the action across the harbor is a quick five to seven minute walk across the Johnson street bridge which is very well lit and safe to cross during the evening time. I highly recommend staying here if you are bringing your dogs or family with you
Beautiful room, wonderful pool and close proximity to downtown make this an excellent location!
Nice hotel. Good food and good service. Recommend the hotel.
Amazing views of the harbour and Parliament building!
Nightmare stay. There is no electricity in my room. I tried the phone...it doesn't work. The wifi is off. The guest elevators don't work.
I woke up to go to the bathroom but none of the lights work, none of the switches work.
I found the service elevator and took it down to see the Assistant Night Manager, Oleksii K.
While waiting for the Asst. Mgr. I observed five police officers escort a man out of the hotel.
I asked the Asst. Mgr. to book me in the Marriott and cancel my second night here but he told me to come back later.
It is 3:00 AM here in Victoria.
I have felt safer in Third World countries in the midst of Civil War.
At first, I thought this might be from the previous electrical problems I experienced.
Here is that situation, which I previously emailed to Marriott Bonvoy Customer Care:
My wife plugged her cell phone into one outlet above the night table but it did not work, so I plugged my cell phone cable into the other outlet. It did not work either. There is a sign above the night table that says "LOW WATTAGE CELL PHONE CHARGE ONLY" but it didn't work at all.
Then I pulled the night table away from the wall and was shocked and dismayed to see a 12 inch X 12 inch hole cut out of the wall with multiple cables hanging down. There is an extension cord plugged into another extension cord. This ungrounded cord without a circuit breaker is resting on a flammable carpet. It is no surprise that the electrical outlet did not work.
How could this pass electrical code inspection?
Raffael, the night manager, sent a maintenance man, who stuck his hand in the wall and got the outlet to work.
Was there a short? A power surge? A flipped breaker?
I have stayed in Marriott properties from Zambia to Malaysia to Sweden and have never seen such wiring.
I do not feel safe here because the unsafe wiring might cause an overload or a fire.
Another guest in the room next door was smoking in room and it was coming through the joining room doors. I notified staff and they moved my room. Great service and beautiful views.
I really like this hotel. The view is great. The food is good. The cleaning staff does a fabulous job.
This place is amazing. Best part for me is storytime at night by the fireplace for the kids with milk and cookies.
Amazing view and food. Friendly staff are always ready to help
Excellent place to stay, although if I could I d give it 4.5 stars. Having to buy a cup of fresh coffee in an expensive hotel like this just bugs
me... and we all know those little coffee makers in the room produce a slightly enhanced version of coffee colored dishwater.
But really, the service here was great, super friendly staff. Amazing view! Clean, modern rooms. Everything was really superb.
They also hosted our conference here, which was executed perfectly.
Very quiet, large king sized bed room facing the harbour. Beautiful view. Staff was very helpful. Within 5-10 min walk across the bridge to many restaurants.
Why look at the Victoria skyline when you can look, and hear this cardboard box crusher at all times of the day!? The soothing sounds of trucks backing up to the loading bay and unloading their cargo are sure to rock you to sleep.
The staff however, were friendly and helpful. I know that a loading bay has to go somewhere, but at literally all hours of the night there was something going on down there, making noise. I didn't have one good sleep in my whole two weeks of staying there. There should be rules for the staff as to when they can operate machinery there.
Location is great, close to downtown Victoria. Everything is within walking distance or short car ride. Walking along the water's edge is very relaxing and scenic. Rooms are a comfortable size. Front desk is very courteous, cheerful and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.
What a wonderful stay. We had an absolutely beautiful suite. The staff was nothing but lovely. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub was down for maintenance during our visit due to an unforeseen vomit incident, but you were able to take the shuttle to the other Marriott location to use their pool if you wanted. The shuttle was also awesome, it took you wherever you needed downtown and could also pick you up.
Amazing staff. Great location. Amazing amenities. Friendly people. Convenient. Clean. Modern.
Easy to find rooms, kind staff, and very understanding when there's a mishappening.
My poor wife was treated so poorly by the front desk women - we were so looking forward to our stay - it was the last stop on the island before heading back home to Edmonton - and the release wasn t released on our CC from our week stay at the Tigh Na Mara Resort - and we didn t have room for our deposit and room - they wouldn t take the deposit and room on our Debit card - Couldn t believe we were treated that bad - we have stayed there every other time we have come back to the island - we are recurring customers - not a first time new customer - with our 4 kids - was extremely disappointing especially when reservations said it was up to front desk - they can or cannot its up to them - they could very easily just have taken it off of our debit card - to hear that was even more discouraging - our children and my wife have always enjoyed our stay here we were looking forward to it - the view - etc was very disheartening
When I arrived I was so stressed. When I left I was calm, happy, relaxed and refocused!!
The rooms were large and comfortable. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic.
We were charged 250 for smoking outside on our deck. I initially assumed it was an error and then called to find out we were fined 250 for smoking outside
They were amazing. Great customer service! Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Great food, service, and the beds are so comfortable!
Love the hotel. Lately and Kim were absolutely phenomenal on our check in. Our room was well appointed and clean. We were extremely happy. Had our dinner at the restaurant, Lure. While the food was excellent the service by Ryan was sub par. He was the only server but the when the only time he's quick is to deliver 5he Bill send a a horrible message to the guests
Absolutely amazing hotel. So beautiful and gorgeous views. Location is perfect for downtown walking. Rooms are very nice. Truely spectacular place! :)
Awesome location in Victoria. Excellent accommodation and unparalleled customer service from the staff
Location great. Views spectacular on either side. Rec centre is a really good deal. Lounge has excellent happy hour deals and a very good craft beer selection. Staff was excellent. Nice property for sure and would love to stay at again.
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Was very quiet the entire week i was there and never heard another guest despite knowing there were multple events ongoing. Was nice to have a fridge and bottles of water provided. The staff were very helpful and professional. Hotel was easy to access and a short walk away to fantastic restaurants.
This is probably one of the nicer Delta Hotels I've stayed in and while I often prefer the Marriott's location, this Delta had far more comfortable Rooms!
Walking distance to downtown with a nice view of parliament
General Manager Kimberly Hughes and her incredible staff at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort are some of the best people I've ever met in the hospitality industry. They'll make your stay marvelous and you'll enjoy every second you spend at the resort.
Clean, quiet, salt water pool, right on the water and walking distance to the the Fairmont and legislature.
Breathtaking waterfront view. Clean room. Friendly staff. Easy parking.
Nice hotel in Inner Harbour area. Views from lounge and restaurant are great. Lots of good eating options within a 15 mins walk and the hotel offers a free shuttle to anywhere downtown.
To reply to your notes, nothing resolved sir, I was looking for proper answer not giving me points. Is that how it's been resolved. Still, credit card is locked because they didn't refund in a proper time. So far it's been 14 days that my card has been locked. Bank confirmed that it was no pending from their side. Today 24/May/2019
The firm, that I am working for it, provided the corporate card so that I was not supposed to be charged, nor have pre-authorization holds put on my personal credit card. The chain email proved that the co. booked and asked to charge the room fee and got the hotel's confirmation. However, the hotel pre-authorized me $1000 at check-in and charged me the room fee at check-out. Here are the back and forth with the hotel:
First, The hotel manager said the co. didn't provide the credit card, however, it was provided a week in advance before checking.
Second, the hotel said that they secured the room with a corporate card but not for room fee. Does it make sense? Again in chain email clearly stated to charge the room fee from a corporate card.
In addition, there were more than one people in CC when the hotel confirmed the reservation but they brought excuse that the mistake happened because one of them was on vacation.
Finally, they didn't proceed to return the money to my credit card once they confirmed their fault until I called them. As a result, the senior hotel manager kept me hold in line to check with her department to refund it.
Mistakes potentially happen in life, but excuse after excuse and not receiving calls to proceed the refund are frustrating.
Excellent Event put on bye Daymond johns team from Shark tank
I had a wonderful experience here. :) The room was clean and the front desk attendants were wonderful and helpful. Special shutout to Whitney at the front desk! She was kind and informative my entire stay!
Beautiful views of downtown, clean modern rooms, close access to most things
Standard delta hotel, great location with the best side of the harbour view. Great hangout for any fireworks show in Victoria.
Pet friendly hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Bit more expensive than others and the pet surcharge was a surprise at checkout
The 3 stars are for the lousy service received upon check-in. We arrived before 4pm and were told that our room was not ready. We went for a walk in the City and returned to the edge of 03:30 pm; Miss herself told us that our room was not ready yet, so we sat in the lobby waiting for the Miss at the front desk to indicate that our room was ready. 45 minutes passed and Miss never had the Education, nor the decency, nor the Service to indicate that our room was ready. Better, a member of the Valet Parking approached us and asked us what we were waiting for. Finally after 04:15 pm, I got up and for the THIRD time I asked the same Miss if our room was ready. And without saying a sorry, or a thank you for your patience, he handed us the keys to the room. Dear Delta Oceanpoint Management, it is unfortunate that you do not teach your Staff that the Front Desk is the image of the Company and if your staff is not friendly, friendly or with a Gift of Service. They are failing in the most important: The Treatment and Service to their Guests.
Excellent view, very friendly services on all accounts. Food in the restaurant was excellent as well. We would definitely stay here again. It is within reasonable walking distance to all that offered downtown.
Amazing. This was more than a hotel for my wife & I it was a refuge a place of peace & bliss. The staff were amazing, upgrading us to a harbour view room because it was our anniversary and the view of the harbour and the legislative grounds across the water were beautiful. I wanted to linger in our room and just stare at those calm, peaceful waters. But then going downstairs and outside, there was a spacious terrace from which one could look out over the harbour and go for walks along its edge. And then the concierge was terrific, finding us a table at a fantastic restaurant nearby, which we so appreciated! We loved this place!
Beautiful hotel, wonderfully helpful staff and the location is perfect. Loved Victoria and a big part of it was the hotel!
Did a pokemon go raid at the hotel, great location, looked at how much a room is, extremely pricey
Very nice view of the legislature and harbour, right on the harbour with access to walking and running trails along the sea wall, decent restaurant, modern and contemporary decor and rooms.
Great location with awesome view.
As the note indicated, you may find naughty neighbours dropping on the window panel. Make sure to check the view before settling down.
COVID is hard on everybody, but it doesn t mean offering cannot be improved: enforce masks(I still see some guests without one). Provide better sanitation(tv remote wasn t covered with plastics, only alcohol wipes in room). It s understandable if kayak rental is not available during this time, but why bikes either? It s straightforward to sanitize.
it s quite a contrast coming from the Empress.
Beautiful view . The exterior of the hotel itself is rather meh but it's much nicer and higher end inside. The restaurant inside is quite good and has a very large and open concept so the tables are placed nicely apart..
Tip* if you order something (anything) from the restraurant or the bar you get a free parking pass which lasts all day for the hotels underground parkade. Perfect for days when it's hard to find parking downtown or you don't want to pay the ridiculous parking fees as downtown is a momentary (and scenic) walk across the new Johnson st. Bridge and you get a decent cocktail or some food for your discovery!
Nice views of the harbour from view rooms, and from the lobby and restaurant/bar.
I venture by this wonderful Hotel near the edge of Victoria's Inner Harbor and never get tired of it's grand location. Viewing the seaplanes, sea life and the 'frozen in time ' architecture never gets tiring for me or my dog.
My room was amazing. The balcony was huge and the view of the harbor day or night was gorgeous.
Our family had such a great time at the Delta. The staff and location was great. Corey from Guest Services was outstanding!!
Very clean, extremely friendly staff and perfect location to meet up with Harbour walk. Would stay here again. Breakfast at Lure very good.
