Delta Ocean Pointe Hotel Review

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and had an amazing time. The Lure restaurant in the lobby was the absolute best, food and drinks were phenomenal!!

The hotel staff was great, especially our shuttle driver Suede. Super friendly young man and knowledgeable about things to do while we were here. He remembered us when we went down to the lobby and always had a welcoming greeting. We will definitely be coming back.

Good food good service, but having an "all day menu" on your website that doesn't start in the restaurant until 11 was strange

Stayed in room 450, with view of the water, parliament, and the surrounding buildings. Rested well. The staff were incredibly kind.

Beautiful hotel on the water, comfortable accomodations in the rooms. Very easy to get around Victoria by land, or water, and close to the Harbour. Beautiful views of Parliament and downtown. Staff was extremely friendly, restaurant onsite has reasonable food options if you don't want to go out.

My stay at the Delta Mariott in Victoria was great: the hotel was clean, modern, in a great location, and perhaps most importantly the customer service from the staff there is truly second to none. This was my third stay here, and don't intend to stay anywhere else the next time I visit Victoria.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to a lot of amenities.

Very good choice of accommodation in Victoria. The restaurant has an amazing night view, you can see the Parliament lit up and the Empress hotel. The attention of the staff is very good and warm and the spa has very good massages. It has a very good location and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Stayed over three days for a weekend away with the wife. We were in a standard room which included a mini fridge, restroom, desk with multiple laptop hookups for those working in the room, and a medium sized flat screen TV. The room wasn't luxurious, but wasn't Spartan either. Pretty standard. The facilities are extremely clean and updated, with a nice lounge space adjacent to the in hotel restaurant, and a great view of the inner harbor from the back patio. There is a small store selling coffee, juice, and soda, as well as some necessities, and a restaurant that sells itself pretty highly. The restaurant has a variety of dishes, mostly slab meats, vegetables, and a start have, with the standard variety of meats, pastas, and pizzas. Nothing amazing, but not bad food. Their desserts were lacking, with four total items all trying very hard, but nothing in the standard cake/pie/sweet tooth range. They do a breakfast and brunch setup, and have a full bar. The menu for the restaurant is almost the same as the room service one, and they'll even deliver you a room service cocktails or beer if you want. Beer choices, my specialty, were lacking, as their local fare was pretty heavily populated by lagers. Prices were decent, sheets and rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. Sole complaints related to the lack of media options on the TV (satellite cable with about 30 channels, some of which don't come in, and no movies, even at hotel on demand prices). While you should get out and about to explore the town, the pregnant wife wasn't extremely mobile, and want to just sit for a bit. We just didn't have anything to do/watch while sitting. Bonus points for a legit spa with maternity massages, solid rates for time and friendly staff. The wife loved it.

The room was nice and clean, service was friendly. The gold members breakfast was a little lacking, only a few cereals and no pancakes waffles, etc. Meant for people over 40 on a diet.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and the staff offers world class service. The starbucks in house coffee stand is a huge bonus and has great workers there. Always a pleasure staying at Delta in Victoria. Complimentary shuttle to downtown operates all day. Really too many ammenities and bonuses to include on 1 post. If you're deciding whether to stay there.....JUST DO IT!

Loved the hotel and the view. The weather didn't permit us much time in the patio but I'm glad we got a room with one. The location makes everything very accessible on foot.

Upscale hotel with nice views. Easy to get to, just on the other side of the bridge downtown. A bit further than other hotels to walk to shops and downtown but still close enough to do so. Nice restaurant bar.

Best location. Great service. Great view. Parking was $20 per night which I didn't like. Probably best hotel that you can stay in, in Victoria. They have to make the parking free though then everything will be perfect.

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and loved it! We had quite a bit of time after our spa appointment before check-in. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna and then ventured outside and walked along the waterfront. We still had an hour wait but thought we would try our luck and see if our room was ready. It wasn t but we were offered a complimentary drink at the restaurant. We declined the drink as we had included access to the club lounge to our account. The lounge is amazing! Access to the coffee machine 24hrs a day was worth the money on its own. The mini fridge was stocked with drinks and the evening hors d oeuvres were great - coconut crusted shrimp, spanakopitas, meats and cheese etc. and breakfast the next day was just as good!
We added the romance package which included a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate dipped strawberries. Before we arrived I made a note stating we don t drink alcohol so no need to include the bottle of wine. When we got into our room we were happily surprised with a bottle of sparkling juice.
This hotel is beautiful inside and out with breathtaking views. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My husband has already suggested we come back every year for his birthday. Thanks for a great experience!

Dinner was nice and the setting was fantastic, right on the inlet. A bit overpriced and service was slow, but not too bad. Oysters were delicious!

Service and amenities are five stars. However, with extensive underground parking, I don't understand why valet would park my newly wax & cut polished car outside under a tree overnight where it was covered in tree sap the next morning.

I only spent a few minutes in the Lure restaurant, watching the live streaming of a rowing regatta on the Gorge Waterway. The lobby wifi was useful and the view from down on the terrace was great.

Had a lovely time at Lure with some co-workers over the weekend. The patio was beautiful, not overly crowded, and the temperature was just right. Of course you can't beat the view of the harbour and distant city scape. Our drinks were great, and the food was delicious. The portion vs price ratio may be a bit off, but that seems common for must these days. All in all, our get together was a success and we will definitely return again.

Went to a wedding ceremony outside the delta facing the water and it was wonderful. Then the reception was in the songhees suite. The dinner was very nice that the hotel had prepared. Would recommend the restaurant there.

Was there just stay the night because of an early morning and day meeting Rooms was clean, STAFF were very friendly but a friend wanted a package of matches and all they had very We're the blank generic cheap ones ...nothing station get through hotel. That was a bummer for her! All in all good

Best hotel in Victoria in my opinion. Treat yourself to a harbour view room! Stunning view and watch all the action in the harbour from the comfort of your room. Great breakfast in the restaurant and very friendly, helpful staff.

Thanks to the parking department Scott and James for taking care of our stay at this hotel. The staff is generally very good and efficient. I have always lived on this side of the port, so it is good to change the place now. It s a short walk, and it s a good choice to take another route. There are tennis courts at the entrance of the hotel, but unfortunately I don't have time to try.

Nice rooms and friendly staff. The bar had reasonably priced craft beer. Lost a star because the room door locks are incredibly noisy when they close and the sounds travels through the walls. I never heard any voices but the doors closing woke me up a couple of times.

Really posh and close to the Inner Harbour. The suites and conference facilities are great. During the holidays, I will pop in there for a coffee and soak in the ambiance.
