Friendly service, amazing location and setting, large clean rooms. Parts of the hotel were under reno and three were a few strange smells and confusing areas to traverse but the staff were more than helpful helping us find our way around

Despite the outrageous food prices. The construction and confused front desk, I have to find it up to this place. If you had asked me yesterday then o would have rated this 2 stars. But tonight after my room cleaning (only on Mondays and Thursdays) I had a clean room and a personal note. Someone named Travis left me extra coffee pods for the coffee maker. He noticed that I ran out of my personal stash having not been home in 15 ish days. That extra coffee made the world a better place.

The Nordic Spa at the place was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The staff were extremely courteous, the change rooms were very clean, the warm and hot pools were just the right temperature, and the plunge pool was an insane amount of fun. There were also saunas spread out, two steam rooms, and warmed hammocks outside that one could crawl into, and relax. Would I visit again? Hell yes. The experience was relaxing and worth every dollar

Under construction, AC didn't work, outdoor pool patio looked like someone's unfinished backyard. This place definitely has potential and staff are great but the place itself leave a lot to desire.

Fantastic /luxurious mountain lodge. Unbeatable views of the surrounding mountains and valley. Dog friendly, kid friendly. Our 8 yr old had lots of fun in the pool. Bike paths, tenis courts, basketball court. Super pricey restaurant, however. We got a good deal on the room in the middle of the week, nut sure because it wasn't busy because of covid19, but wouldn't be surprised to see rooms >$500/night.

Superb Hotel and amenities. Multiple restaurants all excellent food. With allergy awareness. Tons of outdoor activities skating, snowshoeing, close to ski hill.
Peaceful and tranquil walking trails with viewpoints a great attraction.

Enjoyable but brief stay en route to our final destination. Were upgraded to a loft suite with great views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Restaurant and front desk staff were all wearing masks, though some room attendants did not. Tables at the restaurant were sufficiently spaced. Overall the hotel appeared to be COVID equipped and compliant. Guests wore masks for the most part.

Nice renovations, but rooms blow cold air so they supply 2 electric heaters and extra blankets, expect the pool under repair (for our last 2 visits), the hot tub closed and to pay $150 to feed family of 4... try something else

We were there from Friday until today. The chef at the buffet was very accommodating for my little grandchild. The staff was friendly and prompt to reply. We asked for a crib and received it quickly. We asked for a microwave for the baby and it was in the room before we knew it. They went out of their way to always say hi to our baby. We will return next year for sure!

Great hotel in the middle of paradise. However the service is garbage. Room service food was barely average and over priced. The pub there "woodys" is terrible and the service is worse than that. Prices are also very high for everything.

My family and I spent a few nights there last week. It was nice since the beginning we entered the hotel. Emmy (Front Desk) greeted us warmly and even spent her time to chat with my kids and gave them some toys which made them so happy. We went to Forte restaurant, the server who helped us (forgot her name) was so nice. Food was good compared to the price but at least our kids liked it. Overall I would say the property is great.

The road is a little dangerous at night, but the view you see when you arrive is totally absurd.
You'll be staring at the grandeur of nature for a long time.
The facilities are old but well maintained and tidy.
I haven't come in summer, but I'll be there again.
We recommend that you visit at least once in your life.

Was nice place to stay to avoid the crowds and be closer to nature. During their lobby construction, If arriving really late at night call ahead to get directions for where the check-in desk is. They have a guy standing on the main road directing you during the day, but not at midnight.

Just completed a wonderful 3 night stay! The hotel was amazing, in room dining was great, and we also had some amazing food at Forte restaurant.

The room was clean, new, and modern. The hotel is also kept very nicely.

I'm happy they took COVID-19 seriously and took all necessary precautions.

If anyone is wondering how in room dining works with COVID precautions, when you order they bring a "to-go" bag to your door, you simply take the bag, sign the check and you're good to go!

I was also surprised by how beautiful the sorroundings are around the hotel. There are numerous trails and some beautiful lookout points.

I also highly recommend checking out the Nordic spa. Had an awesome morning at the hydrotherapy pools and saunas, and thoroughly enjoyed a much needed massage!

Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful resort and hotel. First greeted by the scents of a campfire at valet parking. The lobby is gorgeous and cozy. The lounge bar is well designed and the homemade potatoe chips while having a cocktail was a great touch. The ballroom and conference rooms were great. The food was fantastic for such a large event. Unfortunately the thermostat was broken in our room and even though we request it be fixed it wasn't and we didn't receive a follow up. I stayed here in November of 2017 and unfortunately they didn't let me know in advance that the spa was down prior to check in. Looking forward to heading back again and enjoying the much talked about spa.

The hotel is beautifully renovated with well thought out and crafted rooms. Praise your staff as they are very attentive and always willing to help out with the smallest details. We can't wait for the completed spa as it looks like it will be a fully appreciated after a full day of skiing.

Staying here for a few days in a loft room. Looks recently renovated. We opted for the green option so no maid service or replacement of towels etc. Room has a fireplace with two complementary fire logs. Staff at service desk were friendly and helpful. There are three separate lodges.

This hotel was our thing for years. It's where we came on family ski trips and we always booked a large suite.
This was our first stay since the renovations and while they are beautifully done, the rest of our stay was just not great. We stayed a Sun-Tuesday during ski season (March) and our only options for food were the gross pub, the Blacktail lounge and room service. Woody's pub was no good, so we were stuck with the tasty but extremely limited menu of the lounge or room service. We had breakfast in our rooms, but didn't want to spend the whole trip in our room. Also, room service was ok, but very very slow. Both times it was over an hour and since we had the Bed and Breakfast package, the 20% off they gave us for the wait had no effect on us. (breakfast was included in our stay).

On the 2nd night we drove 45 minutes into town to find different food, unable to stand another meal at that lounge. What limited food the lounge had was good, but we were out of options and always felt rushed out of there. It was also definitely understaffed.

The spa was lovely but they shouldn't be charging full price for a half finished spa. Two of the finished features were also closed.

Our room had no working heat or a/c, instead the hotel and rooms were filled with space heaters. This felt cheap, smelled bad and honestly made us worry about our safety in a hotel with hundreds of space heaters.

Unfortunately, we left feeling that our favourite getaway in the mountains is a thing of the past.

I will say the bellmen/doormen were fantastic and so friendly.

This is our third year coming here for a company retreat, and this year has been the best by far! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the renovations done to the indoor waterpark are amazing. 3 water slides with a separate kiddie wading pool, they also have an indoor/outdoor hottub. The scenery is stunning! Mountains all around and it is quiet no traffic noises. A great place to get away. I only rated a 4 star because it was quite cool in our conference room and in some of the hallways, mind you the temp outside was below -40 Celsius, so some grace is given there. Food choices were good and it is close enough, aprox 1 hr drive, to Banff and Canmore if you feel like taking in some other sights offed by the Canadian Rockies.

Well first of all the employees deserve a raise the staff was very pleasant and friendly. However the ownership of this establishment really needs to step in. There has been no heat in any rooms for at least a week... space heaters only help so much when it s -30 outside not to mention the all the hot tubs and pools have been closed for weeks... also is probably the loudest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in! You can hear absolutely anything and everything. After the experience my girlfriend and I had here I highly doubt we d ever return. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

The surroundings are beautiful, awe inspiring really. The hotel is nice and the room was very large. However, it was very expensive and the breakfast line-up was considerable (45mins+ wait).
We enjoyed ourselves as a nice getaway from the kiddies and being from the area, the drive wasn t bad.
I wouldn t spend that money again to stay there, but I don t regret the stay. It s is nice and we had fun.

We spent the day at the Nordic Spa, had dinner at the Cedar room and both were absolutely fantastic! The room was very nicely renovated, spacious and had great views of the mountain.

However, we had some issues during the night which led to multiple calls to the front desk and them sending security up to investigate (at 4-5AM).

Unfortunate events but the front desk manager was VERY understanding and offered us a breakfast voucher AND comped our stay. He took care of us and made sure we were happy upon leaving the lodge.

We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. The staff (Don, Gagan and each and every person at the front desk) were so incredibly helpful. If we ever needed anything, multiple people would immediately assist us. We felt extremely welcomed and valued throughout our entire stay. The rooms were gorgeous and the views are hard to beat. We are already thinking about when we can return to this hotel. Thank you for an absolute spectacular stay!

Had a truly wonderful weekend at the Lodge. Our suite was perfect and the in-room fireplace a beautiful surprise. Food at both Forte and The Cedar Room were beyond excellent, as was the service. Special thanks to Gilbert in the Cedar Room, Riley at the concierge, and John Johnson and team for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible.

Hotel was nice and grounds were beautiful. Service however was frustrating. Was unable to locate the ice machine and asked staff who was also unsure. Advised that they would deliver to the room but never showed up. Called down for an extra robe and after almost half hour of waiting gave up and went to the spa. Later in the evening attended front desk to inquire about movies and was advised they could bring Chromecast to the room. Waited 45 mins and called back as no one came. Friendly staff came to room however it did not work. Called back and staff brought another but did not show us how to use it. We googled instructions and were able to figure it out but could not connect. Called front desk again where they dropped off an iPhone and left. No password and no instructions. At this point over an hour and a half passed and we were done with it. Maybe it s just me but I would expect that they would set it up and make sure it works.

By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was immaculate, house keeping did a phenomenal job. They even provided extra toiletries for us as I forgot all mine at home. Met the security manager in the lobby, so polite and very well mannered, such a great fella! The bellman were super friendly and outgoing. We missed our shuttle back from the ski hill by SECONDS, but the hotel sent another driver over to pick us up right away. I had a great trip to Kananaskis for my first time and I will 100 percent be returning to the Hotel!!

It is an oasis. If you are looking to get away and recharge, this is the place. Incredibly beautiful and the service from the staff is exceptional. From the front desk welcome with Emmy Rose, which was very informative and welcoming to support staff (valet, Maut with housekeeping)restaurant staff who were awesome at making good our meal selections the best. The trail around the main complex is amazing after supper (wood fired pizza is a must) This site has it all but is very close to Banff and Lake Louise for a day trip.
Our room was a loft which is a must if there are 3 or more. Our balcony with Adirondack chairs overlooking the mountains is a perfect spot for morning Starbucks or evening wine. We have left with the best experiences and memories, completely refreshed.
