They rely outdid themselves this time. We stayed for the Easter weekend. As usual the staff was fabulous and the service was excellent. But the Easter brunch buffet was so far Over the top, I'm speechless. Outstanding! Incredible!

The renovations on this place are amazing. If you are looking for a weekend get away check this out. Spa is incredible and not pricey. Food is great and the rooms are gorgeous. Banff springs or lake Louise can't compete this Lodge now in terms of ambiance and amenities with the renovations. Worth checking out. We were very impressed.

Beautifully renovated with an atmosphere that is so inviting! I had casually mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. I didnt ask for anything but upon check-in we were upgraded to loft with fireplace. Beautiful room. As well we received a complimentary bottle of wine and truffles. Staff are so friendly! I have stayed many times when this was the Delta and had not been since the renovations. Outstanding job! Can't wait for our next visit!! Thank you

We eloped here and got married and the resort. The concierge desk was VERY helpful at accommodating our requests and was super easy to work with. Thank you for making if easy and awesome. It was exactly what we wanted.

Absolutely beautiful spot and the renovations are great. Ridiculously over priced for what you get. Also there was no heat in bunch of the rooms and we were only left the offer for more blankets with a small heater in the room. The heater did nothing to heat the room.

Also went to the Cedar restaurant for dinner. We waited 20min at our table without a waiter coming to greet us or give us water. Eventually I got up and asked someone if a waiter was assigned to our table. Luckily the food was pretty good but overall experience was subpar for what we paid.

The room I stayed in was fantastic. Very modern and comfortable, seems like it was recently renovated. Food at the restaurants was great, but a little expensive.
Overall, a great place for a getaway!

Stayed there for a weekend away. Rooms have no A/C and the beds I found to be quite hard which makes it difficult to sleep at night (for me anyways). Lots of construction happening, but I wasn't bothered by it. Dog friendly which is great and there's lots to do around the grounds. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, would recommend it and will stay again, though not in the summer months

Beds have no fitted sheets. The sheets that are on there don't fit, they are twin bedsheets on a queen mattress and loose sheets just move while sleeping exposing the mattress. The duvets dont have covers, they are just sheets on them. Pretty disgusting. You're sleeping on the bare mattress by the end of the night.

The room has no heat. The maintenance said the plumbing wasn't installed. They brought a space heater. Its freezing cold.

Unbelievable. Would never come back.

My family and I went up to the Lodge for their Canada Day event. The grounds were all well kept and the main building has been/ is still being renovated. What I saw was very modern and bright.

$600 a night and this is the view from my balcony. I booked well over a month prior to arriving and I get the second worst view in all of the resort. If I wanted to look at concrete jungle I would have stayed in Toronto...but my view in Toronto is much more spectacular than this. For less money, one can stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and have significantly better views. Totally disappointed and will definitely reconsider staying at Marriott hotels as my rewards status apparently gets me nothing. And with regards to Kananaskis Mountain Resort...never again!

We were down the road at Boundary Ranch for a horseback ride and they suggested we pop up here for lunch. Great recommendation. Dining was full up, but they made room for us - very accommodating - and so nice. The menu was small, but had lots of different things to select. Our group ordered sandwiches, soup, salads and a burger and no one was disappointed. Definitely worth the stop.

DO NOT STAY HERE. They are a bunch of scam artist. Booked a room in January for a race on June 22nd. Tried to cancel the room 5 days before and they charged me for the room. I have stayed here for 10 years for the same event and never had this issue. So disappointing a company this size would rip you off like this. BUYER BEWARE.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The restaurants were super and the service couldn't have been better.
When we checked in we shared with Modoromo that we were celebrating our 35 wedding anniversary.
He was so kind and said he had a gift he would like to give us.
He told us that breakfast the next morning was on the house!
What a nice surprise.
I highly recommend the trail heads around the hotel. Beautiful scenery and paved.

Overall a good stay. Hotel staff are very good and helpful. Always take the Loft as an upgrade, If it is available. Indoor outdoor hot tub was great but did get busy! Understandable during construction... restaurant's had good food but a bit pricey as well as understaffed for a weekend.

This was our 9th year in a row coming to the Lodge for my best friends birthday! Not only was the place beautiful and the food amazing, the staff really took their time to invest in our experience and we left our trip with a few new people we could consider our friends! We can't wait to come back for Year 10 next year for a big blowout =]

The hotel is old but a recent renovation has made it more modern looking. It used to be more rustic but the new look works. The rooms dont have heaters though, just A/C it appears but a space heater is provided for those that need it.

Beautiful! Check in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. We booked the Family suite which is cozy and spacious.
The mattresses are comfortable.
The lodge has some really nice restaurants. And a nice store. The gym, pool, dry sauna and steam room are top notch.
We ate at Forte for breakfast and did the Buffet. The food was delicious.
I highly recommend this hotel especially if you have kids.

Fantastic. Enjoyed our time away very much. Food was beyond expectation and all the staff were friendly and very professional. Special shout out to our server for both evenings, Andrew. Hope to go back real soon.

Very nice place... Supervisor bridget very unprofessional seen her screaming at her employees out in the open belittling them on two ocassions..... Advice step them aside and deal with them.... Company should hire new management...other then that my review nice place...didnt enjoy the way management and owners are rude and dont acknowledge there staff when they say hi. Yell at them for not knowing who they are and just letting them in their room without proof they are in that room. Staff get 1 meal a day and love in moldy rooms.

We planned for a family weekend in the mountains when my spouse s mother was visiting so we booked at Delta Lodge Kananaskis. We booked through Expedia as the room rate was cheaper. When we arrived, we asked Guest Services for a close and easy 2-3 hour hike for our group with older individuals in it. We went to the hike recommended.

Upon returning to our vehicle from the hike, the car window had been smashed and all of our belongings from the car were stolen (including wallets, phones and our house keys). The police urged us to drive home and have our locks changed immediately. We returned to the Delta Lodge and asked for a bag and tape to cover the window before driving home. We asked if we could either get a refund for our stay or rebook for another weekend. This seemed like a reasonable request considering the situation. However, the Delta Lodge Guest Services representative told us that they felt really bad for us so they would offer us a free continental breakfast if we decided to stay. Seriously? He said that because we booked through Expedia, this is the best his Supervisor could offer. We said we would absolutely NOT be staying because the police had urged us to go home and have our locks changed. Not to mention, we did not even have wallets to be able to get ourselves dinner or phones to call and cancel credit cards, etc.

When we came down with our luggage and checked out, we were told we had to wait for the Supervisor. With absolutely no regard for our situation, they had us wait for 10 minutes for the Supervisor to come out and tell us that we could not rebook our reservation for another time as there is no exchange of money between the Delta and Expedia. This is ridiculous and how it has anything to do with us being able to come back to the Delta Lodge at another time and stay in a room that we already paid for is beyond me. The Supervisor gave us his business card and told us that if we end up wanting to rebook for another weekend, he could offer us a discounted rate depending on when we would be willing to stay. This is pathetic customer service. Especially for an expensive resort.

This would have been our 4th time staying at the Delta Lodge and we will NEVER stay at the Delta Lodge nor recommend it to anyone again. There are plenty of great places to stay in the Rockies. In the summer of 2014, there were close to 60 vehicle break-ins in Kananaskis, so this situation is not highly unlikely. If you find yourself in the same unfortunate situation that we were in, you will be happy that you did not choose to stay at the Delta Lodge.

The hotel is currently being beautifully renovated, and from what we were told it should be finished sometime in July. Our room was recently renovated and I'm sure we were the first ones to stay in it . There were some small hiccups, our thermostats did not have batteries and when we got some installed it didn't control anything. The lobby is the last part being renovated and just the day to day work around due the renovations is why we didn't score the hotel higher.

Staff were friendly and welcoming; almost felt like I was coming home. Unfortunately the food tasted like it came from a package; not even close to the quality I've experienced in the past. Not sure if this is typical or if it was what the event organizer budgeted for.

They had some issues with their hot water. Pool was cold, so were the pool showers. Hot tub was lukewarm.
Room showers were cold too.
Reservation doesn't advice the guests about this issue neither does the web site.
Strange thing is Nordic spa's hot pool is working fine but the hotel's is not.
Since that was one of my main reason for this trip, for me it was a huge disappointment.

Hotel mentioned there was renos to the lobby, but the a/c didn't work, reason given the renos even even though the room was done. Hot tub jets are broken and incredibly noisy. Should have been replaced years agai. Its a shame they can charge so much

Good. Could have been quicker front service, but it was a Tuesday before lunch that we checked in so I don't blame them. Much of the dinner buffet and lunch the next day were also very similar. More variety would have been better

Stopped into the Bighorn Lounge for an after-hike dinner. Service and ambiance was good. Food was decent but servings are small especially after a long 3-day backcountry hike. Good selection of beers. Biggest drawback was that they had no wings.
