Excellent place for all sports wear and accessories. Lots of variety and reasonable prices

One stop shop for all your sport needs. Very huge store with lot of collections. Some of the products are cheap as well and good deals are available.
You can order online and collect in store as well. Staffs are knowledgeable and helpful. Get the decathlon loyalty card in the store.

I ve visit the workshop today looking a for part bike for my bike , I ve asked the staff upstairs where this sections was and they send me downstairs to talk to the mechanic at the workshop , Virgilio , total legend , he knew how to answer all my questions and delivered an unrivalled customer service . Give me confidence to buy the parts I wanted cause he also guided me along the process I had to make at home . All I was expecting definitely coming back .

Great products plus friendly and helpful staff! I use Decathlon on a weekly basis, either for my tennis lessons, to entertain the children or to buy some equipment. I love that their membership allows you to bring the purchased item within a year for a full refund! I enjoy using the sports at the Decathlon or just simply to browse and try out the new products! The staff are always friendly and helpful - all our bikes have been serviced here :-)

Great experience. French guy in the bike department was friendly and helpful.

Always handy for sports equipment, abundant supply of anything from sailing, cycling, hiking, tennis, running, swimming kit, to also offering the space to playing ping pong, rollerblading or cycling in the store.

The kid in me loves this shop as it's fun, spacious and it always has what I need.

DON'T TRUST IN-STORE COLLECTION.

Disorganised and unreliable. Ordered trainers online for in-store collection. Ordered size 8.5 online but the trainers I was given upon collection were size 9s. No one told me I had been given 9s instead of 8.5s Just as well I checked before I left the store!

Turns out their system makes that same mistake 'a lot' so they just give you the nearest size... how is that okay!? Decathlon were unable to correct the issue and so I had to return home empty handed.

Ordered direct from Adidas instead. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

Great quality awesome quantity very low prices and high standards when going to decathlon it's like a day trip for the children all 3 find their sporting interests and much more they test ride the bike roller blades and scooters and the staff are so very accommodating I have been a loyal customer since 2011 and have recommended this store to many people over the years and will continue to do so much thanks Decatalon from a sporty mum with a sporty family you get us all sorts of goodies from sailing to skiing gymnastics to hiking we always strike a bargain and we all end up sorted

Brands are same price as everywhere in this shop! If you wanna come from far to buy brands for cheap you are in big mistake , shop has got big selections of clothes for all type of sport for cheap.

During a quick visit to purchase a day pack, I had an informative conversation with floor staff to help locate what I wanted, and the folks at cash served with a smile.
Prices are low, location was convenient, and solid service! 4*!

Great place to get all of your sport equipment. Good quality products at affordable prices. I covers for all most popular sports from cycling, rollerskating/blading, skying, kayaking, tennis, table tennis, camping, rock climbing, hiking, running, weight lifting, combat sports, archery and so on. Sport clothes/equipment for men, women and children. Free parking just outside.

Great spacious retail outlet. I get my sportswear mostly from here. There is a large selection and price/quality is right.

Great shop for sports gear. You can truly find anything you need for any sport activities for anybody any age, even for camping. For me the best outdoors/exercise gear shop in London.
In a summers day gets a bit too hot as there is no air conditioner but they have massive fans which help a bit

Went in store today.. Approached staff twice to ask about waterproof bags.. They just point... No offer of assistance until my third attempt.. Too busy doing delivery.. Poor service.. Without the customer you have no job... Will never go in this branch again.... Avoid at all costs..

Has many bargains! Is better to visit than use the website as one of the best parts of this place is the discounts in store due to end of lines and discontinues.

Took my bike for maintenance. Had to call them after 24h of receiving no update and aparently it was ready. Only got the notification it was ready 48h later.

Good place to buy sports gear, cheap. However we had a lot of goods and checking these against the receipt was a right pain as everything was displayed as a code... also droped a star as quote a few products did not have my size...

This is a Mecca for outdoors types, like Christmas but one you do for yourself.

Accidentally spent 3 hours there. It's like the ikea of the sporting goods world: don't go if you're skint or in a rush.

I Bought a child bike here for a reasonable price and they assembled it for me free of charge within 15 minutes. Top notch customer service. The only thing I'm unhappy with is the fact that they don't provide any tools with it, if I needed to adjust the seat or tighten some parts I would need to buy the tools or take it back to them. Providing those simple tools could make a huge difference to customer satisfaction.

Always have what I need and staff happy to help if I can't find something.

Do not trust these brands! Very poor quality and break after one use. It is cheap for a reason.

Excellent service by Sebastian really helpfull rectified the problem we had in store with a very well mannered polite friendly service.

Decent equipment if you need some camping basics while traveling in Europe, although I wouldn't trust their equipment for anything you want to own for years. The staff here all seem to be NOT clued in to what they're selling and are generally very unhelpful.

Probably anything you need travel and outdoor adventure related you'll find here. Reasonable prices and very decent quality and durability

I came here to buy deck shoes but I couldn't find the women sizes or model. I asked to staff and they told me that the women models and sizes are only online. For surf and sailing most of the item in store are only for men!!! I found it very surprising...there were 3/4 models of deck shoes for men and none for women. Disappointing.

Great service on my partners bike today dropped it in 10am needed 2 major things done and the great guys who work in servicING fixed it up by 12pm. Wonderful service great customer service and great price also. Can't fault these guys. Well deserved 5 stars.

Nobody ever answers the phone!! There has been issues with the website since last week Thursday, nobody has bothered to answer the phone nor fix the website problem.

Joe B section ski helped us buy ski boots he was just an excellent skilled professional with perfect customer service 100% recommend his Advices and support.

Service non-existent, tried to buy a bike and asked for help. The guy pointed at one and then continued what he was doing before. Products are great though. This review is for this specific decathlon.

UPDATE: If I could add more stars I would! I visited yesterday with a particularly awkward/difficult request pertaining to a CycleScheme voucher. The member of staff who I spoke to (who's name I sadly don't remember) went to great lengths to assist me despite the store being ridiculously busy at the time. He resolved my issue for me and I cannot thank him enough!!!

Original review: This store has a huge range of sporting equipment, though I generally tend to visit for the bikes. There is a huge variety of kit to buy at excellent prices given the quality of the products. The staff are knowledgeable, pleasant, and helpful. I cannot fault them!

Appalling service! We ordered a home gym, Decathlon took the payment and according to the tracking the order had been shipped. We then noticed that the tracking started moving backwards so we called to query what was happening. We were assured by Luca at Surrey Quays that the item would be available to collect as stated on our order on 19th July. We called again today only to be told that the order had been delayed to 24th July by Alex in the online team. Within hours of receiving the confirmation of the delay we received a further email saying the order had been cancelled. When we called to ask what was going on, we were told that the item isn't in stock and that when you order with Decathlon you essentially have to pay your money and just hope for the best as they have logistic issues with the items. You then have to wait a week to get your money back and they really don't seem to care. Disgusting customer service. I would not recommend Decathlon as a reputable company. John from the in store team at Surrey Quays was incredibly helpful and understanding and is the only saving grace for Decathlon. If anyone from Head Office wants to contact me to provide an explanation before I contact the Ombudsman please use the details from the order number in this review

A bit crowded, especially over the weekend. If visiting on Saturday or Sunday do it on the morning; by the afternoon the place is raided and looted. Good place to buy sports clothing and equipment if you don't mind branding. The shop is the victim of it's own success.

I went looking for womens' sandals at the beginning of the summer season, when all the mens and chidlrens were already out on display, however, I was told that they will not order any in this year, as this was a decision from the manager.
Also, I reserved an order to be collected, when I needed to call about collection the phone is never answered and always goes to voicemail, the one time I got an answer I was hung up on due to bad reception.

The old Decathlon was huge! The new store is twice as big as its got 2 floors now! Massive selection of indoor and outdoor activity kit's. What is nice to see is on the upper section there is a little test track for kids to try out scooters!

Great place for all your sporting goods... Great and informative staff too..

Wow. Visit to Decathlon should be prescribed by GPs. If you are starting sport just because you think you must. I.e. it will help your health etc. You are in most cases set to fail. Here you can try so many sports. If you don't like any on particular day. You can come over next day and a next until you will find something you love. If you will find that sport which gives you happiness you are set to succeed! P.S. but we all know that inline skating is the best:)

Good Afternoon/Morning to whom is reading this complaint, my name is Ata but you can call me Tyrone.

I am writing this complaint today on Sunday 12th May 2019 due to a few reasons, these reasons are due to mean and unconsideret, there was no one at the counter for 10 minutes and I was blamed for apparently breaking a tennis racket even though I found it in that state.

I was with my younger brother who is a very matchure teenager and I were just about entering your store until your security guard did not allow us in the store due to our skin colour. We were both very offended by the abuse and I hope further actions will be taken.

I went upstairs to look for tennis rackets due to my cousins county final tennis match happening next week, whilst I was looking for tennis rackets i saw a broken racket in the middle of the ile so i placed it to the side and was accused of breaking it.

After I entered your store I went upstairs to the tent section due to camping season approaching us, I was selecting one of your finest tents which took half an hour due to the great choices and finally decided which tent I wanted. I went back downstairs with the heavy tent and went to the till but I did not see anyone at the counter. I asked someone if they can help me but they refused. I ended up waiting for 10 minutes and then left your store ready to complain.

I am deeply offended by the store staffs actions and am waiting for a reply,

Love Decathlon. Huge selection, good quality and good prices. The staff here are really friendly and the bike assembly and repair services are good and cheaper than other bike specialist shops

I've been here just one time to buy my backpack for my travel to Asia and without the help of Radka and Manuel I was lost.. They advice me which one was suiting me and with Radka I also choosed shoes, socks and other goods. Thank you I appreciate:)

Almost empty store, had none of the things we wanted to buy. And you can't try anything on. Don't bother coming here during this pandemic

Great choice of bikes and accessories - also love adult scooters - that's probably an only place you can buy them. Shame the store does not have everything that's on the website though.

5 stars to the long haired British fellow who worked so hard to refit a tyre on my bike at the workshop on the spot, very appreciated

Bought my bike here. The staff were very efficient, friendly and professional. Great variety of sports equipments. However I do think they are slightly understaffed as I saw the same person fixing bikes, manning the cashier, running around answering questions.

Decathlon Surrey Quays is a shining example of how to make bricks & mortar retail 'better' than online shopping by offering a fantastic experience. This massive store has dedicated inside spaces for trying before buying lots of the sporting equipment sold - there is a functional gym area, plenty of space to scoot, cycle, skate, basketball hoop and more.

The range of clothing, sports specific clothing, footwear and sporting goods is dizzying and the quality, whilst not ever quite being premium, is often very good. I have bought Decathlon own-brand hiking shoes, an insulated jacket and gym equipment and found all to be - over time - at least as good as other brands. Cost is extremely competitive and there are often a range of products at difference price points to choose from.

Checkout is quick and simple and in the near future there will be a dedicated cafe facility operated by local health studio and cafe The Lodge Space. This will make Decathlon an even better place to visit and shop - bravo :-)

They have good range of the sport products. The prices are on the more expensive side, but they have really competitive introducing offers.

Didnt want to leave this review as I love the shop, but i tried a bike service here and it was bad. Should've (and will have to now) do it myself. Backwheel wobbly, handlebars not straight, brakepads now oily etc
