Appalling service! We ordered a home gym, Decathlon took the payment and according to the tracking the order had been shipped. We then noticed that the tracking started moving backwards so we called to query what was happening. We were assured by Luca at Surrey Quays that the item would be available to collect as stated on our order on 19th July. We called again today only to be told that the order had been delayed to 24th July by Alex in the online team. Within hours of receiving the confirmation of the delay we received a further email saying the order had been cancelled. When we called to ask what was going on, we were told that the item isn't in stock and that when you order with Decathlon you essentially have to pay your money and just hope for the best as they have logistic issues with the items. You then have to wait a week to get your money back and they really don't seem to care. Disgusting customer service. I would not recommend Decathlon as a reputable company. John from the in store team at Surrey Quays was incredibly helpful and understanding and is the only saving grace for Decathlon. If anyone from Head Office wants to contact me to provide an explanation before I contact the Ombudsman please use the details from the order number in this review
