One of my local favourites. It can be challenging to find a table on one of the three stories at peak times (i.e. Friday afternoons).
A good selection of beers but most importantly the food is great. Lots of English style options, though I normally default to fish and chips (with tartar sauce and a little dish of mushy peas (though the mushy peas are not like home unfortunately)
A traditional British pub type decor brings lots of ambiance with the benefit of great service
Nice Irish pub has good snacks and plenty of whiskey. Can get crowded because it s great for tourists. A bit pricey.
Not to be missed! An innovative drink menu in graphic novel format. And they are delicious. All in an cool atmosphere with lots of consultation from the knowledgeable staff.
Nice place to have a beer and a nice talk. Ask for the Death Rabbit Burger. You won't regret.
Fantastic place, service food and drinks are great. Busy on the weekends but that just adds to the atmosphere.
Best Irish Coffee in all the land, great burger with crispy fries and a cool atmosphere.
First time visiting since Covid took over. They are on point as always. They have all the covid precautions in place you could ever need to feel safe and the food and cocktails are still the best around. If youre in NYC it is a must stop! Get an Irish coffee and see why this place is legendary.
Had the fish and chips yesterday. Soaked in oil, and very little fish. Cool looking place, though.
Great place with variety of lovely cocktails! Great food and awesome service!
Auteurs of the cocktail, voted best in the world, years of detailed planning went into this labor of love
Great place! You must try the Irish coffee they make here.
Definitely lives up to the honor of being one of the world s best bars. I would regularly visit (pre-pandemic) even though I live in NJ, it was well worth it. The food is delicious and tasty as well. The bartenders are friendly and are experts as it relates to their craft. Looking forward to visiting again once it opens up, in the meantime I ll be doing the takeout because it is actually THAT good.
Bar had a just out of college vibe to it if you're into that. Cocktails on menu were pretty good. DJ played an eclectic range of music which was cool
the food is delicious(try their gnocchis) and their cocktails are crazy good: tastly, subtle and strong.
the place is crowded on the weekend and it is hard to hear your people, but the ambiance is really nice. you have to try it at least once
If you're there for classic cocktails, skip the chaotic ground floor and head upstairs for the magical speakeasy room. Make sure to look for nights with a live ragtime pianist for the extra vibe.
Interesting place. There on a Thursday night and the bar was completely packed. $8 for a Heineken so not too bad. The restaurant opened at 5. Limited food menu but it was good. Drinks are all completely unique but expensive. $18 each. To me, that's steep, even for Manhattan. Overall an ok place but nothing I would specifically seek out again.
I don't believe in luck.
The only secret to success is hard work.
Always for the better
The only multivitamin containing Ginseng 115 I use pharmaton every day
I shouldn't be distracted and keep fit all day
Life is a marathon, and you should run endlessly
Pharmaton, never give up.
Food was great, beer too (8-10) A lot of people were there.
Incredible vibes, love the space. Bartenders were super lovely. Slight wait at the door but for this place, it was worth it!
A bit far to travel to from other boroughs but the food, drinks and atmosphere were worth it.
I love this place so much! The mini sliders are so delicious with a perfect size fried egg to go on top! Yum
Love the ambience of this place! Want to try the food next time because it looked delicious
They have interesting flavored drinks of varied strengths. My favorite was Irish coffee. I loved their fish and chips. Their truffled fries are out of world. We had to wait 40 minutes to get a table, so plan accordingly. The drinks are quite pricey. Don't miss this place.
Easily one of the coolest bars I've visited in NYC so far. It's got all the feels: historic, Irish Pub, lively, divey, etc.
The chips here are so freakin' addictive! And they really nail the pies and scotch eggs. Absolute must visit if you're in the Financial District. Go late night if you're looking for some action.
It was a fun experience. A little hot but no big deal it was also an extremely hot day. I like the atmosphere and the people were fun and nice both the staff and the patrons. It was somewhat of an attraction but did not make it a bad bar. I think it would be a good time for most people especially younger people. I had a good time.
Interesting atmosphere, good selection of whiskeys very crowded and a bit touristy.
The dead rabbit was a pleasure to visit. Lovely staff and drink!
The best IRISH COFFEE COCKTAIL! only at this place!
i get what the hype is about - great drinks and vibe!
Awful service. The place was empty and it took forever to even get some water. Bland overpriced food. Skip it.
Quite expensive for a cocktail .. all in all nice environment ..
Amazing experience. Completely forgot I was in New York. Great food, great selection of local beers, super friendly staff that makes you feel at home.
The ambiance was great and the cocktails were delish! I ordered the Irish coffee first which was so yummy. We also ordered the fish and chips to share at the table which was also very tasty. We were visiting from California and I'm very glad we took the time to visit this little gem. The cocktails are rather expensive but definitely a fun experience and well worth the spurge!
Warm welcome, cool atmosphere, efficient staff, excellent burger, good address!
Go upstairs, way better than downstairs which is packed at night. Cocktails upstairs are $18, which is a bit pricey, but they are strong and we got to sample the punch as well. Good for one very different tasting drink, but I wouldn't stay for more.
One of the funnest bars I ve been to. Nice discovery!
Nice authentic pub. Menu resembles more of an English menu than that of an Irish one. Staff are good and friendly. I got the toasted cheese melt and my partner got the spaghetti. Both very nice.
Great Cocktails with Some Very Interesting Flavour Profiles
This has a great little bar. It was a lot of fun to visit.
Having been to great cocktail bars in Houston, it is clear New Yorkers think too highly of themselves to think this tiny place with understaffed bartenders is worth so much praise. My advice: skip it and go somewhere like the iconic St Regis bar (even SNL shows the mural behind Michael Che in opening credits). Sure the drinks might be good here but they are good nearly everywhere now.
One of the best Irish bars I've been to the Irish coffee was outta this world food was excellent beer was nice and cold and great people highly highly recommend
The parlor was a highlight of our trip. The tap room made us want to stay forever. The Guinness was the best we have had outside of Ireland or the UK, but the food was phenomenal. The staff were attentive and each deserve 5 stars each.
The good things about this place are the food and drinks. Happy hour specials should not be missed. The bad is the over crowding. The amount of people after work is crushing. Every level of the establishment is full.
Start to finish, this is one of the greatest cocktail bar visits I've experienced. Food and drink both met the extremely high standards I walked in with.
New York near statute of Liberty Ferry excellent beverage and food and servicr
Dead Rabbit is a great experience; the staff, the atmosphere, the cocktails, the small plates, and the cool cocktail book menu all made for a pleasant evening. The only negative was the bread pudding. I recommend the pate and the $1 oysters available at certain times.
Cool little place to hang out and take in some drinks.
You must update your social media with new photos from the menu. We came here for brunch and we had only 3-4 options from cold dishes. While we were there we heard people were coming for lunch too. The waitress didn't inform them that the options are very limited.
The sandwiches we took were tasty and fresh. A little overpriced though.
Staff were very friendly and made time to talk even though they were very busy. My partner who loves Guinness said it tasted the same here as it did when we visited Dublin.
Good place to visit with friends or VIPs. Cocktails are tasty.
Great drinks and an amazing atmosphere. You have to try their Irish coffee
Really cool ambient. Old New York style pub. Worth the visit if you're around the stone street area.
Great place for beer, good food... over all a great time !!
One of the best cocktails. The Taproom is quick but has limited variety of cocktails. Go to upstairs in the Parlor. You may have to wait long to for parlor as they do not take reservations and they have first come first serve policy. Great drinks, nice service and friendly staff.
If it is your first time they will give you a nice introduction about the place, name and drinks. Loved Stowaway from Sharp menu and Paradise Square from Ambitious(if you like a bit bitter and hot). The service was great. They were not able to make one of the drink I asked as they ran out of few ingredients and they gave me next drink on house.
The food was ok but I will definitely go back for drinks.
The grocery is a small shelf behind the bar in the back. Around $16 for 1 scotch egg. Overpriced for food and drink
Dead Rabbit is a cocktail institution here in NYC. It's the type of place where you have two options, you can wait for a space upstairs or jump into the bar / Tavern that usually has seats at the street level. Waiting for a space upstairs is an entirely different and incredibly special experience. Highly recommend putting some time aside and waiting for the table upstairs so that you get the full experience. Custom cocktails are just a staple here. You simply won't find this level of Mixology anywhere else in New York City and dare I say perhaps anywhere else in the world. All that said, be prepared to throw down close to 18 $20 / cocktail. But they will be amazing.
Nice bar, the decoration is very good, the drinks they prepare are very good, recommended to go with friends to have a good time, and make some beers oh depending on the taste of each one who goes
An amazing little place! Beers, whiskeys and scotcheggs.
one of the best ever cocktails, thought would never say such a thing as a man "those cocktails are awesome" but with dead rabbit you got to.....
Nice interiors. Beer selection not that vast, but some good options.
