THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Bought my car from ABC, a month later the engine light comes on..since November 2015 I've put over 2K in this car, the whole exhaust system was trash, wheel bearings went bad, ignition module went out, o2 sensors, and MAF sensors were bad. I understand its a buy here pay here but sheesh. Now DBS is even worst. First off if you're going to offer a warranty and have 3 year payments then make the warranty for both years not just one. The 12,000 miles or year whichever comes first is just stupid and a ripoff to customers. As for the account managers. They will call and harrass you two and three times a day. I was threatened for repossession for $40 back pay. Now that's beyond petty. I don't recommend this company or dealer to my worst enemy. THEY ARE HORRIBLE

They changed the rules on me to keep me in the negative... Vengence belong to the Creator and I pray it fall on all those who oppress people wrongfully.. They have no mercy and will not work with anyone, knowing most of the customers are check to check...

The worst service ever provided and the company should be shut down. I will take my concerns to the BBB and I do not recommend them at all. You'd be better off walking

That worst experience of my life dealing with them . Lisa Warranty is a joke. My car has been in the shop more than I drove it. They called and said it was ready . I made it as far as Columbus and the same thing happened. Oh yeah they reimburse you but they put it towards your car payment.

Just got a vehicle from them a month ago and I already feel like it was the worst mistake I've ever made in purchasing a car. DBS staff are the absolute worst to deal with. They're money hungry crooks who sell high mileage vehicles for outrageous prices. If I had known the type of service that they provide was this horrible I wouldn't waited to obtain a vehicle through another company. Customer service is DEFINITELY not their forte. If you need transportation ASAP and don't have much money to put down, then yes, I recommend you try them out but just beware of what you're getting yourself into. The type of customer service ANY company provides MATTERS!!! You don't want to deal with them. Just because you may not have perfect credit, doesn't mean you have to deal with unprofessionalism. Don't be like me....Be patient and put your money with a company that has better standards.

I changed my car payments from once a month to bi weekly back in June I had my car since December of last year my head gasket blew an I had to get it fixed that the warranty department didn t cover come to find out it wasn t a head gasket like one of they recommended shops said it was they just wanted money a lil over 2 grand so I got it fixed on my own I missed 2 payments when I talked to amber she informed me that my loan had been re written back in June an I had a hardship done mind you I had never missed any payments an was never late until the end of September when I had to get my car fixed only thing I did was switch from monthly to bi weekly payments also abc told me when I got my car I would be able to trade it in after 12 months but now they saying they never told me that an I have to keep my car for 3 years before I could trade it in abc Lisa warranty an dbs are nothing but a bunch of scammers an you have to be careful because now I m stuck with a car through them but I love my car but don t like they service very poor also when I took my car to they shop no lights was on when I got it back my check engine light was on so just a warning to future people thinking about purchasing a vehicle from them please check they reviews an service an explore other options before them

Horrible company!! Made payments on time for almost a year. Got a bit behind because the car broke down and I couldnt afford a tow right away. They wouldnt fix the engine because I couldnt drive it to get an oil change due to the issue. Not being able to get to work I got further beh i'll nd on payments. I got the money to catch up and paid the full ammount ch iven by the automated system. 4 days later I wake up to my vehicle being gone. The repoed it saying I was further behind than what their sytem stated and the sytem diesnt give the right info. They pretty much ruined my life They thrive on being shady. Dont do business with them ir ABC motor or lisa warranty. They all work a well oiled machine to screw you over.

Transmission was going out in car and they wouldn t fix it. They repoed the car in 2016 and has been garnishing my wages since. Ive paid 7700 in garnishments and they wont settle talking about I still owe 3500 in interest. Stay far away from these scammers!

Ever since we got the car from day one we've had problems with our car. Our financier name was Katrina she is the worst human being I've ever spoke with in a long time. She makes the worst rude comments, she was always arguing with me and my boyfriend, I've placed two no-contact orders on her and she's broke them both times to contact me. I've asked you two different people to switch my financer because she doesn't know how to communicate and no one would let me. I also asked a hundred times to speak with her boss about the issues I was having with her and no one would let me. They lied to me about my warranty. They were very inconsiderate once our house burnt down about working with us as if we were lying about a burnt down house. I would never ever ever recommend this place to anyone. Even their customer care place sucks.

Got a car from them and been feeling like am being scammed, been paying extra on the car since I had it and it is not being showed on my payments, seems like the more I pay extra the more they charge on interested, is there any one that can look at my account besides them?

Worst company to get a car from. They make JD Buyrider look good and that is saying something. Paid nearly $25,000 for a $4,000 vehicle.

The representatives are rude and ignorant; that's if you manage to get someone on the phone.

They will call and harass you over even $40.00.

Definitely a last resort loan company and their pathetic attempt at running a dealership has been failing terribly. I know of at least 3 of their dealerships shutting down. Hmmm I wonder why?

Have been dealing with them for about 6 years and have had no issues great to work with.

So far everyone ive dealt with have been nice and willing to work with you. If you tell them they seem to help

Dawn keeps hanging the phone up on me when asking how long will it be to get a loaner car. So the process so far made me miss a night of work because thats my only neans of transportation.. Transmission went out on my 2010 Dodge Journey haven't had it for 30 days.. They transporting the SUV to a transmission shop so obviously there's transmission problems so I need to get to work tonight already missed 1 night and had to pay for a tow to ABC Auto where the SUV was purchased... This is a terrible experience Im going through.Very frustrated missing monet and they want payments every other week.

I'm writing from another financial institution. Robyn who works in the title department was very rude. I am not a believer in the quote "the customer is always right", however, you should never argue nor cut off the person in which you are conducting business with, this is never ok. Robyn proceeded to get rude, condescending, and increased her voice to make sure she was clearly speaking louder than I was. I asked to speak with her superior, in which I did, and he resolved the issue, but he never once apologized for her actions, and as a matter of fact he tried to defend her by stating the information was correct. This isn't a matter of right or wrong, but a matter of just down right rude and unprofessional. I would NEVER suggest or recommend anyone to use their services. Please take a look at all the other reviews, they are all pretty awful.

This company is TERRIBLE! I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional in my life. Jennifer is very rude I don t ever want her to call my phone again. They do NOT work with you and could careless if you had something traumatic happen. I m ready to give this car back it s not even worth it!

This place has nothing but nasty mean people working for them. You fall on a hard time, and they harass you to the point you wish you never did buy a vehicle from them.. I also like there scare tactics. This company is a joke!!!! Glad 1 year left and done with them.

Long since over except my credit, but I purchased two vehicles from ABC Motor Credit. First one was constantly in the shop so when I could I bought the second...7 months after purchase I moved to AZ. Apparently you aren't permitted to move out of state when buying a car from this tyrant of a company owner, My car was repossessed from my apartment. Payments weren't late etc. I made 2 payments even without having access to my car to get them to return it but it was a complete run around. Had to sign papers which had to be originals, then they said they hadn't received them not once but twice. All the while I have no car. Thank God I found a reputable dealership in AZ, who even when told the situation looks at my credit says you have impeccable payment history and put me in a car on the spot....here I am 4 years later in my dream car, credit improving dispite this loser of a company (DBS and ABC) who cares nothing about people. Trust and believe I will never recommend you to anyone and if I lived in Ohio would start a boycott to put you out of business! My Poor brothers and sisters dont think this company is the answer. They lie cheat and steal, literally! I would love to see the training model for the customer service reps. "Just lie, and harass everyone." Was truly a horrible experience for which my credit took a massive hit. I will persevere through it but hope ya'll read it as a cautionary tale.

I traded the car i got through dbs in to get out from under the junk abc auto sold me an they still took payments bc the lady didnt put in the computer that they was contacted the refused to return the money im not longer responsible for that car so in my eyes they stole the money there r no professionals working here at all they called me 10 different times about trading my other car witch i paid off 3 days after trading the other car in so think twice before buying anything an going though ether abc auto or dbs

Worst company every got behind cause i lost my job March. My payment was $260 every other week. So i got basicly month behind and have been struggling realy bad. With the rough times with the coronavirus, i finally got a job but paying alot less then what i was making (about $600 less a month)] Well i woke up Monday morning to my car being repo. Called them and they said i to pay $550 + $100 to the tow conpany, and now your biweekly payment will be $300. Like really im struggling to pay $260 and they raise it.... not even try to adjust it since im making less.

They don't even deserve a star! worst customer service, they don't care about their customer, I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!!

If I could give this company 0 stars or negative stars I would. I bought a car with DBS less that 8 months ago. We have had nothing but problems with the car since we purchased it. The electrical system shorted. It was not covered by the warranty. The fuel pump just blew, we contacted our guaranteed road side assistance and was unable to get a hold of anyone. We called the company to assist with locating a tow (a service supposedly covered in our lease) and now we have to pay out of pocket for that as well. Our bi-weekly car payment is astronomically high, which was fine when we signed because we thought that the warranty they provided would cover the costs of any problems we had with the vehicle. It doesn't. Word of advice to anyone thinking about purchasing a car through ABC, don't do it! The customer service department is atrocious. The fine print in your contract will make sure if something does go wrong with the vehicle you will pay the costs in full.

My car got repossessed for being 16 days past due. I owe $206, they are saying I need to pay $1100 to get my vehicle back. Stay away from these crooks!

I have had the worst experience with these people! Gracie is by far the rudest lady Iv ever felt with ! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!! The views expressed in this piece are solely my own. In my opinion, this has got to be the absolute worst company in the world. I feel like I have taken a loan from organized crime, and when you look at other reviews, it would seem I'm not alone. I have had nothing but awful experiences from day one, both in dealing with the terrible mechanical shape of the car and the rude, intimidating staff. I highly suggest you steer clear of these people or you will invite stress and anger into your life as well.

Honestly this is the worst experience I have ever had from a lender. My house caught on fire and they refused to work with me on payments. But will send you texts saying they can help you. Told them i would make a payment a week for 3 weeks so i could get caught up but they are unwilling to accept that. Darnell is so rude and so unwilling to help with financial problems .I will never again purchase a car through DBS financial and am so disappointed in their customer service.

I hate there service and company they need to be closed down. There license to do service need to be taken. There contracts all need to be voided. Wish i never went through them.

Abc is a good experience on their own. Dealing with dbs is the worst experience. We ended up getting a car from them a little over a year ago had great experience with the car no break downs not a piece of junk. So five months later we decided hey we need another car one for me, one for my husband. At the times is job was excellent no lay offs, no cut back in hours. We had the money for both car payments and be able to live. Well about 3-4 months ago we found out his hours were going to be cut back and it things were not going to work out. So we called them asked if we could even trade our newer car in for a less expensive one since we would be going to the same lot. From what I take of it dbs only deals with abc. So what loss would they be taking considering they would put it back out on their lot and charge more. They wouldn't allow that. I've called in several times is there anything we can do. Lower payments, anything at all. So they wouldn't do anything so it finally came down to were going to have to voluntarily let this go. The woman instantly becomes aggravated and rude with me basically threatening. She tells me that I have to bring the car to akron or they will come and get it and I'll have to pay $290 upfront. I said well I don't have $290 so we will have to bring it up. She wanted to know when I told her I'd have to talk to my husband. So I called back after she said she would call me and talked to another person told them when we would bring it up and they said that was fine. Next thing I know Sunday I have a guy in my driveway picking my car up. Thankfully he was sweet enough to let me get my stuff out of the Car. I have caught these people in so many lies. From now on I'm recording everything they say to me.

I have a FedEx receipt and confirmation number with date of delivery that my title was delivered to the office. The lady said they didn t have it. I showed her the FedEx receipt and confirmation number and explained that from a legal stand point they are accountable for it. I asked for the manager. She said he was in a meeting and would give me no information about a name a contact number or when he might be back. I work at Burger King and we have more efficient filing systems and always have a memebet of management staff accessible. Fast food is ran better.

I purchased my car from ABD Motor Credit. Great car, great experience with the staff, recommend them to anyone. However, the loan company (DBS Financial) that they go through are the most unprofessional and outright rudest companies I have ever had the misfortune of working with. There was a mix up with my payment, a mix up on their part, and the woman on the phone got very snippy and very rude. I am not the type of person to get intimidated. So I put her back in her place. Now if you have poor credit and you need a car, you don't have many options. And if you have to go through this company. Don't take their crap.

Payment method was refused after 17 months of paying on a car. Sent a letter for wage garnishment to my employer. Horrible service, people skills are not a strong area for them.

After nearly 2 years I'm going to detract another star. It should be considered a predatory lender at this point. There is no flexibility. No alternative options, no deferral of even a single payment. If you do you make up the difference on the next payment. The literal only good this lender has done is ach my payments for two years and raise my credit score.

Part of my reasoning is the shop themselves quoted me at $1383 parts and labor. Not to bad. To get a service loan I was quoted over 2600 with 1k down required. Why not change the the business name to wdgaf just give us your money financial. Would fit a lot better.

DBS is horrible. We have made over 100 consecutive weekly payments on time. Asked to skip a payment and they refused. Even banks will let you skip a payment. I'm letting everyone know they suck. They should appreciate their paying customers and work with them if needed. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Do not buy a car from them. We paid 4 times what it was worth. They don't deserve more business. They will take advantage of you.

Absolutely the worst finance company I have ever been with so happy I traded the pos they sold me 2 years ago I would never recommend them to anyone I ve had customer service reps threaten me I never missed a payment i traded in my car the car lot paid it off and they still took my car payment out of my account that following week the interest rates are terrible they don t care what you are going threw I hope karma comes for your company

The worst company ever! They came and got my car and sold it and sued me and I only owed $2,000 more on my vehicle! Garnished my paychecks for over $5,000 for a vehicle I no longer had!!!

Most unprofessional company I have gone through! Absolutely a nightmare want you to make automatic payments but can't provide you with paper receipt of balance,principal,etc etc. A bank statement is suppose to be good enough but I believe BBB will have a different say .. also want to get out of DBS clutch Go TO KIA OF ALLIANCE ,THEY ARE HELPING ME GET OUT OF DBS OVERPRICED CAR WITH HIGH MILEAGE!!!!!!! I got into a car loan with them a year ago. Was paying on time for about 9 months then I lost my job because I had a baby and fell behind about three payments. Even though I was terrified about what they d say I called them let me know what was going on and they worked with me to catch up on my payments. I m all caught up . On top of that PAULA is AWESOME!!!!! Also, in the past year of being with them they regularly report to my credit and have helped my credit score jump over 100 pts in a year! If you don t have the best credit and need to build it work with them!!!!! I m saying my credit was TRASH and they approved me and worked with me and actually got my credit up!

Bought my car from ABC and I wouldn't advise buying from them. do not use these people. They prey on people that need help and peddle garbage cars. Bought a dodge stratus that was worth probably 2500 for 4000 and it broke down a month after having it so I told them to just come get it. 5 years later i get a letter saying i owe them 6000 dollars interest plus the 4000. Save yourself the trouble and stay away

Giving 3 stars cause I know how they work high interest but that being said 1 don't get yourself into a car payment you can't make 2 don't get mad if your behind and they can't help you out cause they seem more then willing to work with me and help me out

This place sucks..we just called to get a buy out price but was told that they would not fax the paper work over to the car lot so we could purchase a new car...myself and the new cars salesman still puzzled..then we asked for the price over the phone and was told that the buyout price was almost 1200 more then we thought......stay away please

If I could give them a 0 I would I can't believe how you treat people and go about things I bought my car in June I make every payment on time every week and already it's been in the shop 10+ times and on its 2nd engine replacement yes 2nd when is enough enough when do u say hey this car is defective or just a bad vehicle. How can you not have respect for others my car a Chevy traverse almost made me and my kids get into a serious accident because of the issues with the engine it's not safe and it's costing my time and energy I've missed work and my kids missed school due to it I'm so upset and discussed by the whole situation I think I'm going to start to call attorney's about this issue.
