Harvest Time International Review

Supposedly a charity. Yet they ask money to even shop there. So to make money off of poor people out simply those down on their light and need some help. Don't go here and support people who are failing those they're supposed to help and instead are money thirsty non charities.

Please pay attentition to your receipt and change. I was short change $10.At Cash register I love this place I am on a fixed income and it helps me get through the months. Prices are great.

Prices are becoming same as walmart on certain food items.

Used to be a lot better. Someone decided that they should raise their prices to that of a regular grocery store even though their food is donated and mostly expired. I won't shop there anymore... Don't recommend to anyone.

Stale food, bugs, high prices and the newest dilemma is they count trash bags and won't put the trash bags back like they were. They make you roll the trash bags back up after they pull them all out. This place is nothing like it was when it first opened!

Another store that I go to ...During the. cold snap we had got a brand new heater there for 8. dollers..lots og cookware tents furniture food

There is a lot of favoritism in this place unfair treatment if you're not someone that the cashiers know or live in there neighborhood you get limited to certain things whilst others that get favored have no limits

Why are you selling items that are unsealed? Also, I notice that the prices are increasing?

The man in the office was very helpful .. He explained how to shop there.. And you are allowed to pick up "free bread"

They have good price but need to clean up the area and item what they sales...

How everything starts, it started out very excellent, and like all the membership stores that is what interests them, to charge the same, in the food products, they are for, or are already expired, WHERE ARE THE FDA CONTROLS, ????????, actually I don't see how they help low-income people, it's all a fake ..

A lot of the prices are the same as stores or only $0.50 off for food expired the year before. The last time I went my 4 year old daughter had to use the restroom so we asked them to unlock it. They said they'll do it in a few minutes, yet 15 minutes later we were still waiting. After asking another 3 times the guy got so annoyed he said to use the employee restroom and showed us where to go, then walked away. When we came out an EXTREMELY rude woman began literally screaming at us (no build-up whatsoever to get to her point of anger) saying how stupid we were for going into HER employee's bathroom! I explained the entire situation, she questioned the male worker who showed us where to go (who denied EVERYTHING) and then continued on her rampage. She then yelled at my 4 year old, told her what a stupid mother she had, and began telling her not to ever listen to me again. She then began telling me how to parent my "stupid" child as well... mind you, I never once lost my calm or behaved in any manner other than with respect. When I called her attention to this fact she finally apologized (after that 10 minutes of yelling) and said she just really hates the people who work for her and that's where the anger stemmed from. I haven't been back in 6 months because of this experience. If the people working here are doing community service, keep them in the back until they're actually ready to rejoin society.

Disappointed their machines were down waited in line over 35 minutes to walk out emoty handed.

I have volunteered here many times and I love it here, everyone loves their job and had no complaints, the items sold can really be an amazing deal and possibly randomly needed. Had saved me hundreds of dollars a month by choosing to shop here. They have food store, clothing store, and household items and more store as well. It can get busy at times but the deals are worth it and they constantly have diffrent items in stock.

My husband and i love it. We go and we check the expiration date on everything before getting it. Its a win win and you can't beat it.

They have unprofessional people working there they don't care about helping anyone them two ladies they have working there for the benefits career source didn't even bother to care the reason why I was Ill and out of working what kind of help is this? Never going there again!

Most of the volunteers are very kind and helpful. I have found several, quality things here.

A lot of selections with extremely low prices. You just have to check out the expiration dates before buying.

It is an awesome place to volunteer! You can do jobs together with your friends or family or just as a group with random people (where you don't have to talk unless you want to). The downside is that the tasks you might get may be harder than other tasks, but it might be worth it...

Harvest Time is a great place to go when you need a lil extra help with groceries, clothes and home products. All of their items are overstock or returns that could not be placed back on the shelves from local stores. It's $5.00 per year to join.

Excellent place to save money but you have to qualify to have their card and check the merchandise very well since some have an expired date.

I find being that all items r donated their prices R a little too much and change all the time..I was told that its half of what the store prices r..then I'm told some R 10% off store price..yes u can find really good prices on some items and u need to check all items for damages and that they really work..they'll lend u batteries if u need them...if u buy razor cartridges..make sure there not used..

I stopped going because their prices went way up, it is not the same anymore, it is not even worth the ride over there... I do not recommend it

Are you kidding!!! Harvest Time had helped me so many times providing for my emergencys of diapers when there wasny enough money to buy at Wal-Mart for so much less its amazing. I reallu appreciate them alot! They also have demtal amd health services by Oramge Blossom Health. I go to Harvest Time allll the time now. Amd not having a car has really made it convinient to ride my bicycle and even getting a back seat that i purchased here for a fraction of the cost is just amazing...I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO HARVEST TIME AND OUR FATHER GOD ,for putting this organization together to help others in need !!! Thank you HARVEST TIME I PRAY YOU CONTINUE TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS AND THAT OTHERS WILL SEE THE GOOD SERVICES YOU OFFER !!!!

Im a member .And I've also recently served out my community service hours there as instructed by Officer Minnine Jackson of the Casselberry probation sunny town location .She's not the brightest apple of the bunch and troughout a year has made many of era's like calling me early in the morning to have dailed the wrong person but she will never apologise nor admit era on her end,she's even went so far as to violate me on the 5th of december saying "26 hours served only" but as of the 6th of december Mike from harvest time gave me a print out of hours served and tally was 78.6 hours...smh Be it as it may the officer abovementioned has a huge track record of era from my own personal experiences. The only correct thing I must admit to her doing was directing me to "HARVEST TIME".. IT WAS THERE THAT SERVING MY HOURS AROUND A DELIGHTFUL STAFF AND VIBRANT GOOD HARTED CHRISTIAN HUMANS THAT HELPED ME REMEMBER MY FAILLERS AND WHY I MUST NOT REPEAT MY MISTAKES AGIN. THE WORLD STILL HAS SOME GOOD PEOPLE IN IT AFTER ALL. THE CUSTOMER'S ARE AWESOME AND UNIQUE, I DID 150 HOURS SO I GOT TO KNOW THE REGULAR ONE'S AND THEM ME QUIET HONESTLY I BEGAN LOOKING FOWARD TO ATTENDING JUST TO GET THE SMILES FROM A HAPPY CUSTOMER.THE STAFF AT HARVEST ARE HUMANS 1ST CHRISTIANS 2NCD AS THIS APPLYS FOR ALL GODLY SOULS IN WITCH IVE SEEN SMILES MAINTAINED WHILE DISPUTES ARE HANDELED.I COMMEND THEM ,ITS NOT ALLWAYS EASTER SUNDAY BUT THEY GO ONWARD WITH THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT DAILY..PRICES ARE POSTED ACCORDINGLY TO SURVEY'S/ SOURCE'S.KEEPING IN MIND NOT ALL MERCH IS DONNATED AT THE END OF THE DAY ITS A BISSNES AND THERE ARE FAMILYS AND PEOPLE TO BE HELPED AND ON THAT SAME TOKEN THIER ARE BILLS TO BE PAID AND EMPLOYEES PAY CHECKS TO BE ISSUED."GOD GAVE US LIGHT" AMEN. Great charity to donate to. The help feed the poor more than anyone else in Central Florida.

Buyer beware... They sell broken items knowing that the items are probably useless. They mark it down dirt cheap to get rid of it. I dont think that is very charitable. Whether its 5 or 50 dollars money is hard for some of us to come by. If you know the stuff is broken throw it out. Dont put it on the floor. Paid 5 for a humidifier got home and the tank was in pieces. Anyway I still like going there as they do have good deals

Most of staff here are awesome & helpful! Gotta inspect your stuff before purchase as it's no refunds but great prices for the most part.

Like everything, there is bad and good together, you have to choose with time, to review well.

It used to be a great place to shop but now everything is way over priced, I'm better off just going to the store!!
