Quick trip.
Over hyped, over marketed, over priced.
Sorry Chip, not impressed.

No words needed... however... We just had the most incredible afternoon at The Silos. So well thought out, so well executed and as clean as Disney World. Despite being insanely busy and stupidly hot, everyone was so friendly and nice, employees and guests alike. The food trucks are amazing. Pizza, yum. Sweet tea, yum. Burger, yum. Lavender donut holes and lemonade, an absolute yum! The garden was lovely and the greenhouse is literally my dream in real life. I was disappointed that there were not more seed options for purchase but otherwise, this day is knocked out of the park.

Went mid week hoping that it wouldn't be busy. Waited 30-40 minutes at the bakery for an average tasting muffin. Felt as though we were being herded through like cattle. Went to the market and it turns out it is nothing more than a giant overpriced souvenir shop. Waste of time. Maybe something to see if you are driving past but would not go out of the way. Also, be prepared to pay a hefty fee for parking. There was no feeling of "down home" or that they respected your visit.

We love The Gaines and were glad we stopped in at the Silos, however if that had been our main destination, we'd have been disappointed. There's nothing there. There's an overpriced store, a bakery, and food trucks. Magnolia Table is 6 miles away from the Silos so we didn't bother going there.

If I am going to be honest, it was a waste of time going there on the way with my family to san antonio. They make it seem like it's so cool on tv when it's just like a big overpriced boutique. What really gets me is the fact that they have one type of candle for example, and they place that ONE candle literally everywhere to seem like they have a lot to choose from. The other thing is that when you go into the silos they have a little entrance part where they sell items, but when you go down to. The silos they have those same items along with the clothing. Overall do not come here just because its overpriced , hot,a waste of time, the traffic, the wait for the bakery, and the food and items are not speacial

How can you not love a place Chip and Jo created. We enjoyed some time sitting drinking Alabama tea and watching people play lawn games on the turf. Did some shopping in the market and found out the items sold there are specific to that location and not found in the Hearth and Home line at Target (FYI).

Beautiful place but I can t understand $98 for a wreath of $58 for a candle when all items are made in China. or made in Bangledesh. Way too overpriced. Also, why is it so hard to get a hold of the store by phone? I ve had questions about an order and it s taken 5 days to even get a call back. I answered and we were disconnected then when I called back, it said they were closed...it s 9:33am. I returned their call the same minute I was disconnected and it said they re not open. How strange and how very frustrating. Especially after emailing and calling for several days now. If you re going to run a business where there s paying customers, you can t just ignore them and not return their call. These items aren t cheap and shouldn t come with a hassle as well as an expensive price tag.

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from vacation. I've got to say I was highly impressed! I watch the TV show off and on for years and they even saw the episode where they were working on building this place. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife like that there were food trucks outside it had a wide variety of options for lunch. We will definitely be going here again if we're ever in the area again.

Went to the mecca of all things farmhouse, for some last minute Christmas presents, and took my mom there as a stop, after a long day touring the Titanic exhibit, so to be fair we were all tuckered out and full from Health Camp's shakes. Though a stunning backdrop, like most of Waco is, we saw many rows of similar merchandise staged in various spots throughout the main building. It was kinda tough to get excited over, as there weren't any really personal or unique items for sale. I found some really beautiful candles and ornaments to send to my family in Christmas care packages, but overall I could of shopped online and probably done the same. I liked the park vibe out back, and will have to return to explore the food trucks and bakery once more, but only in conjunction with the Ranger Museum in town or another venture, not solo. Oh! The cashier was very friendly and helpful and gave us a military discount, which was surprising. nice folks, will return when less crowded ;)

Great experience! Great service! Everyone is friendly and happy to help. They ask if you are military and offer a discount without you having to ask first! Great place to get Chip and Joanna's stuff. Looks just like what you see on television!

Smaller than expected; but interesting. It was so hot outside walking around the market grounds and inside the back of the store. Prices were high but not unexpected and service was good.

My wife was completely in her element, along with several hundred other women. Most of the guys I saw had the look of " help me" on their faces with out actually voicing it. All in all a great day.

Really disappointed in some of my purchases. Coffee cup started chipping at the rim right away and the handle snapped off a measuring cup just from scooping up a measure of rice. I expected much better quality for the brand and the pricing!

Waco is my hometown and I currently reside in Dallas. I love to visit the Silos! Mainly not to shop but to visit the grounds and take pictures of my son. Joanna s vision brought to life is charming and a bit whimsical. The prices are high but they have 5 future college tuitions to pay for and Baylor is not cheap. They do have their less expensive products at Target! Her Silobration cupcakes are the BOMB, well worth waiting in line for! Try to visit in the middle of the week, weekends are ridiculous. Don t forget the kettle popcorn while you re there. Bon appetite!

It was probably one of the coldest days in Waco and the place was still packed. I'd hate to be there when there are tons of tourists. The items for sale were pretty enough but very overpriced and very few items were made in the United States. The silos themselves don't appear to even be used for anything other than a landmark, which was disappointing because I thought the Gaines' family was actually going to use them. I'm sure they're making a killing though. I think I ended up buying a $3 bottle of Magnolia water to bring back to New England for an elderly friend who loves their show but I didn't buy anything for myself because pretty much everything else you can buy online for much less.

It is amazing. Staff is super friendly. A lot of places to take a break, to eat and drink. Kids have an area to play. Dogs are allowed. And the store with all the decor is a dream (but a little bit expensive)

One day when I can go to Texas, the first place I will visit will be Magnolia Market and its creators.

I absolutely love the show as well as Chip and Joanna. I was so excited to go as soon as I got to Waco. The store is beautiful but very pricey. The food trucks are awesome! The line for the restaurant was ridiculously long so we choose not to wait. I would ve given a review of 5 stars but it bothered me deeply that there were no African Americans working there at all. It made me think there was some prejudice. What makes businesses enjoyable for everyone is diversity. I d love to see more people of color working there.

What a great place to visit for individuals, couples or families! Everything is done with skill and class. A large play area for the kids in the center of the market is a unique touch and several food vendors around the outside of the complex make it hard to go hungry. Make sure to leave room for dessert at the bakery, and you will find all kinds of home decor in the Magnolia store. This is a garden spot that you don't want to miss. Put it on your bucket list!

Without question, great for fans and decor enthusiasts. However, be aware there will be throngs and throngs of people making the experience arduous, parking overflows literally blocks away through industrial Waco, and entry lines for different buildings each wrap the block. Still, it makes a memorable pilgrimage.

Always a fun experience at Magnolia! We live within an hour so we have the luxury of choosing to visit in off peak times. We AVOID on weekends so we haven't dealt with crowds or the like. We LOVE the food trucks and sitting outside and walking through the garden. The Bakery is delicious and worth a try! Their customer service is some of the best EVER in our experience. Once we ordered a bunch of cupcakes to take home and when we got home discovered that 3 of the cupcakes were missing, I called them the next day to see if we could get a credit and they were able to refund our money with a very kind apology.

Such a great experience. The bakery is nothing short of magical. Having an air streamer outside for faster service is genius for those that don t want to battle the long line of tourists. It was raining when I went and they had people outside with complimentary umbrellas while you walked around.

Perfect day in Waco. We did breakfast at Magnolia Table, toured Jimmy Don's, Harp Design Co, and the Silos. Small crowds, no lines and pleasant staff everywhere we went. At JD's we went out to Crawford Ranch (Pres Bush's place) and also visited the Sr Pepper museum near the Silos. Chip & Joanne are doing well bringing life back into Waco. Worth a day long break on our cross country trek (AZ to DC to visit our granddaughter).

Free entrance. Lots of trees and covered areas to sit outside including large wooden swings. The garden was peaceful and beautiful to walk through. Very family oriented. Lots of happy kids running around with parents kicked back on bean bags.

Place is nothing but a bunch of hype. Bakery and a store with coffee mugs for $24. Food trucks for lunch we re the best part of our day. Need to set up booths with local craftspeople to sell unique items that might be something used to decorate a home
