I went with my sister and two young daughters. It was a nice place to walk around and my girls enjoyed the carousel. There was not much else for them to play on, but mainly historical houses/sights to see.

Carillon Park is such a well-done display of the Dayton area's history. The displays are attractive and informative. The guides are friendly and very knowledgeable about their subject area. We bring our out of town visitors there frequently.

I appreciate what they're doing with this place--servung period accurate beers and food is a cool idea. Actually drinking that periid-accurate beer reminds me of how far we've come since the 19th century. I'd go back if I were with someone who really wanted to try it, but I can't imagine ever suggesting it.

Historical preservation of buildings and items from around Dayton. There is a lot to see from an old inn, houses, an old school, to original bicycles, steam engines, old cars, first airplane, and lots more.

Some stuff to keep kids entertained, but it's a huge property with lots of walking to see everything.

Also bald eagle moved in and hatched some chicks - bring glasses to see them close or just watch one soar over the property.

There is not much to see in the visitor center museum. The village has more to offer. The best part of all was the Wright Brothers National Museum. From the displays, the history stories, the video, the helpful and informative staff to one of the (almost) original Wright Brothers planes this was my highlight. Thanks for preserving this part of history. I do recommend a visit even though this is a relatively small historical park.

So many fun things to do and see here. The exhibits are extraordinary, both educational and entertaining. The brewery is also a must see with their authentically crafted beers made as they would have been in the 1850s. This is one of the best spots in Dayton, a real community treasure!

Literally one of the finest "historical" parks in the country. Took my family for a beautiful day experiencing everything they have to offer, from the #3 Wright Brothers plane, to the carousel, to the living history buildings, to the trains and even the old time cash registers-so much to see, do and experience. Give yourself about 3 hours and you'll be glad you did!

Decent place with access to bike trails and a nice green space. The museum is fine, I suppose. It might be great if you really love cash registers. There's a good little restaurant on the property with craft brews. Worth visiting.

Great park, with lots of activities.

Between the historical attractions, food and beverage locations and wide open spaces, this is a green respite from the nearby residential and business areas. I've ridden through lots of time on the bike trail, and was drawn in on this occasion by a beautiful sunset over the Miami River. The website has all the details on hours and attractions.

This was the best place I visited in the Dayton area. I was lucky enough to be there for the Holiday display. I went in the afternoon and spent a lot of time in the main building and the Wright Bros. Museum but when I went back at night I learned about the history of Dayton. This city is responsible for many innovations throughout history. You can easily spend an entire day at Carillon Park and you will not be disappointed.

Admission stickers are normally required, but so worth it in 2018 -:$8 for an adult and $7 for a senior adult and somewhat less for children. The items as eclectic as Dayton ' s history. There is even a canal lock, which was built between 1825 and 1829 right where it is! The cash register collection is just what you would expect with National Cash Register in Dayton for so long spectacular! My favorite exhibition was the Transportation building, so if you enjoy trains, etc. And of course there are the bells. In one visit you can not do the place justice, but you are given a detailed visitors guide. Special building dedicated to the Wright Brothers and the airplane theamazing Dayton invention. Enjoy!

Staff was good. Food was decent, some entrees better than others. Good for visitors in the area to see some history and talk a decent walk around the property. Christmas lights on the Bell tower was awesome to see.

We learned so much about the Wright Brothers. Our tour guide, Marilyn Dickey, who is also a friend of mine, was fabulous. Our grandson learned many facts which he will use to complete a report when he gets back to school in Chicago.

Very cool place with a brewery that brews in the restaurant. Everyone is in period dress and the buildings are so cool. Not a ton of food options for anyone with dietary restrictions but the house bread is vegan and could be a meal by itself.
