This place is really cool. Definitely a great place for the whole family.
Attended the Dayton Concours de Elegance and had a tremendously wonderful time. It had everything a great car shows needs: great great cars, great food, great setting and great management. The guy running the show has done it for years and it shows. I think his name is Mike Edgerton. Wow! Now this is what all car shows should be. And it about 50 vintage motorcycles also. I guess that you can tell that I had a great time. I m going back next year.
We attended the park for the Makers Faire. Was really cool to see all of the history museums and live-action displays. Very friendly staff who love to explain how things work or we're done in the past.
We came here for a special event, Makers' Market. There were multiple booth with lots of interesting things. The park provides a history of Dayton, OH in manufacturing. Very educational.
Absolutely beautiful set up for Christmas! We had not been in a few years and it's better than it was in the past. They do a great job managing the Covid-19 restrictions. Although busy, I never felt that it wasn't safe.
What a great place to host events. With many different locations for an event, you have the power to choose a style that's right for you. Wether you want to be surrounded by historical train cars or if you want to be in a grand elegant ballroom, Carillon has you covered. The Staff is accommodating, very knowledgeable, and always a pleasure to work with!
Had a great time watching the tree lighting. Great experience for history and Christmas enthusiasts!
Very well designed layout. Takes you back to historic Dayton as though you were actually there. Clean, well maintained. First class facility.
Had a great evening looking at the Christmas lights and museum.
A really nice park like setting with many historical buildings and content. A good afternoon education and entertainment for young and old.
So much rich history of Dayton, including the Wright brothers, national cash register co, and other great inventions
Very interesting. Lots of fun ways to learn history
I enjoyed my trip here today. For those concerned about social distancing, as I was, I thought everything was excellent. I never felt crowded, saw a lot of cleaning supplies and sanitizer, everyone had on a mask. We spent the majority of the time outside though. The highlights were the bridges, canal lock, and clock tower in my opinion
Just found out this place. See many of the Dayton Innovations. Mine too.
I love eating at Culps Cafe. My omelette was so good and very good service. Love the historical ambiance.
The Brewery was great. Staff was tremendous. Food was amazing.
Its amazing! Bring the whole family for history and fun!!
Great sights learned alot but too long of a wait for average food
Looking for some outdoor and family time in a historical location? Look no further! Ten bucks per adult gets you into the deep local history of the area. If you don't want to shell that out, check out the gift shop or go to the brewery for some free history. Christmas lights are always great to see up close
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Fun way to experience and learn the interesting history of Dayton innovators and leaders. We came to see the Wright Brother's exhibits but recommend them all.
Food was good, service was great!
I won't need to think twice about going back.
Beautiful Historical Park! I wish we had more time to spend there, but will be returning.
We go every yeah. The lights are so beautiful and the train ride is the best. They even have an antique carousel inside that you can ride. Of your family is looking for a historical holiday event with lights, this is it.
Captures the history of this area. It is a great place to take children.
could not get a burger because head chief didn't have prepared
I stopped at the Brewery, food was good, limited menu, but was fortunate enough to meet 1 of the brewers who was very informative passionate about his craft.
Went to TrainFest 2017, and had a great time. Toddler rode the train and carousel, and loved every minute of it!
The park is huge, with tons of buildings full of local history inside.
Plenty of gyms and pokestops as well.
It is a great place to learn about Dayton Ohio history. You will be surprised by all of the life changing things that came from Dayton.
Visited the brewery and loved it. Great food, beer, and service!
This place is beautiful there's alot too see hear. There is a museum a brewery a train .A clock tower the Wright flyer and much more
What an amazing find. I was looking for something to do in the Dayton area and heard of this but didn t know much about it. I m so glad I decided to check it out. If you re a Wright Brothers or aviation fan this is a must see with the National Wright Brothers museum. Also there s plenty of classic cars, trains, buildings and artifacts here from Daytons history. There s super knowledgeable and friendly staff here as well. This is a must see in Dayton.
Park and historical artifacts are great. The bells and light display is AMAZING.
Awesome history of Dayton and surrounding communities
We enjoyed another visit to Carillon in August and would highly recommend this park to anyone that has a liking for a quiet, beautiful, and educational retreat!
Wonderful history of many eras in one location. A living museum near the Dayton downtown. More changes underway with current construction projects. An unknown gem for someone who has lived in Ohio for a couple of decades. A great place to More
All of the beer is made using process from the 1850's. It's all done in the same room as the resturant. It is a very unique experience. The beer and food are very good.
Christmas holiday season is a fun time to visit with friends and family, wood-fire baked old-fashioned molasses cookies, hot cider, train rides, a lovely little hometown gem!
wide variety of experiences for all ages, related to local history.
Best place to take the family for a holiday evening. You won't regret it!
Great food and good beer! The Dayton history is an enjoyable aspect of the experience. Check it out!!
Great place for a history visit. A must see Ohio attraction.
Really nice historical park. It is also home to the only Wright Brothers plane in Dayton!
There is an admissions charge, but there are enough exhibits to justify the cost.
Besides the Wright Brothers plane, there is a bicycle museum, transporting museum and several historic buildings.
In the main building is a merry go round and an animated show on Dayton.
There is a snack bar available as well as a microbrewery next door.
Great historical asset for downtown Dayton with one of the most unique breweries on property
Love this place . Good way to learn about Dayton history
Nice place for any season. We went for holiday lighting for xmas and was pretty good.
Great history! They actually have a Wright flyer! The gift shop was pretty fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting.
Check out all the NCR cash registers. The collection is very impressive.
Carillon Historical Park is a great place to bring the family for some nice, quiet and exciting time. From the great Dayton flood to the vintage trains, Carillon is a great experience of Dayton history. Would recommend for all interests.
A a wonderful Park that is very entertaining and very educational.
Great way to see what Dayton Ohio has contributed to technology. The volunteers are freindly and are willing to educate on all things Dayton. From NCR to Wright Brothers to John Henry Patterson, they have a new animation that reviews history of and ingenuity of Dayton s forefathers. Great for kids and adults.
The new addition to Dayton Hstory Museum is finished and open to the public. Go check it out.
The lights were beautiful I recommend climbing the clock tower to see all if it
The Christmas display was great and a fun family event. My kids loved the miniature train ride.
The attached brewery is a wonderful experience for a beer lover!
This is a nice little gem of Dayton. We ate at the Carillon Brewery. The service is excellent and the food is good. They specialize in pre-prohibition beers. The beers are slightly different from what you might find at other local breweries, but give a great insight into the history of beer. They have a wonderful back patio to sit and enjoy the wonderful surroundings.
Awesome place thank you all for the history lesson and very nice people. I will return soon
