A wonderful display of our city's history. We love all of that the museum offers. As well as their varied schedule of yearly events.
Carillon Park is always a classy place to visit, no matter the time of year or event. My husband and I are proud Dayton History members. I ve been to the Concours D Elegance several years in a row, Carillon Christmas every year since it started, and many times a year just for a visit, a beer at the brewery, and to enjoy every little fantastic piece of history. It never gets old. I live in Dayton, but my parents are from out of town and I bring them every year. My dad especially loves the Concours - we can t get enough! Thank you, Dayton History, for bringing such a beautiful museum space to Dayton - the world needs more places like this. I can t wait to see what you build and add to the collection in the future!
This is a photo of the rights bicycle shop recreated in Carillon Park, and a potato chip bag on the Miracle round
Interesting, pleasant environment
Well maintained.
Enjoyed watching the eagle's nest.
Didn't get to see it all in the time we had. We will be back.
Great place for adults and kids for a good look at life as it once was..
Oh my this place is amazing. It reminds me of how Americans worked to make so many things we use today.
It is just like a smaller Greenfield Village!!! They host the most wright brothers artifacts and have a incredible display of railcars, printing presses, and dayton made products
Beautiful at Christmas! Really want to go back when it is warm to spend more time exploring the exhibits.
Awesome history great locomotives awesome little cafe too
Dayton history. Really interesting to learn about Dayton's contributions to the world.
Atmosphere is so warming and comforting. Food was so good, love old world fare, drinks were cold. Amazing to know the brewing is happening in front of you as you dine!
Industry, innovation and inspiration all in one place. Carillon History Park captures snapshots of famous inventors from Southwest Ohio, including the Wright Brothers, Kettering and more. A great place to explore and many events throughout the year.
The food was delicious and the service was quick. Their stout wasn't my favorite
This park is lovely to walk around and view the Carrillon, and hear the bells. Onsite restaurant serves home brewed beer.
Culps Cafe is adorable and delicious
It was very enjoyable
We sat in the trolley
Wait staff is excellent
This park was amazing it offers an exceptional amount of Dayton related history. The way the information was relayed was in a way that everyone can understand. It provided a way for people today to relate to the people from the different times in history.
Carillon Park is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful! My young granddaughter loved riding on the wonderful carousel four times!
Disappointed in the gift shop. Grounds and lights are beautiful. Enjoyed the evening.
This place has a very good muzeum that shows the surprising number of inventions that originated in Dayton. The brewpub style restaurant is also pretty good, although I find that all of the beers taste more sour than I like personally.
Wonderful time listening to the carillon tower chime and play Christmas song. The lighted tower was obviously great too.
I've been going to this place since I was a kid and it gets better Everytime I visit. It's like walking through a park and museum at the same time.
Historical tours available, great place to spend an afternoon strolling. Decent food, friendly staff, however the offerings in the brewery left me wishing i'd ordered ice tea.
If you want to see Dayton's history come alive, come here!! :)
The museum and park are beautiful, especially when they have the Christmas lights up. The Carillon Brewing Company is very fun, talk to the brewers if you have a chance - they are recreating period authentic beers from found recipes and researched references from the mid-1800's. There food is also excellent!
Very nice place went there for our first time and we loved it. My children and husband too. We enjoyed a lot.
visited just to see what the park offered..there is a yearly fee to join to visit anytime but we plan to join..seems to offer a lot to see and walk around..GREAT gift shop on site with old vintage and antique gift items from bygone years..really fun to visit there
This a quite the hidden gem. Great history lessons and amazing food too. If you re in Dayton, check it out!
Great family entertainment over the Thanksgiving holidays in Dayton, Ohio. Something for everyone. All five granddaughters LOVED the carousel, roasted chestnuts and old-fashioned gingerbread cookies. They also found the old printing method quite fascinating. Dads loved the cash register collection. I loved all the lights everywhere, especially the bridge. Made a great picture. It was sort of a magical evening.
If want to know about the history of Dayton this the place to go and the cafe food was good
There is more to Dayton Ohio besides aviation. It was a learning experience. NCR, AC Delco, Meade paper and more have there roots in Dayton.
This historical Park is a wonderful place to visit and especially to take out of town guests. Everyone we brought were fascinated by all of the displays but especially the Wright Brothers bicycle shop. The guide there was especially knowledgeable and made the visit even more enjoyable.
I always enjoy coming here. You can eat at the brewery, walk the park, or have a nice view of the river. There is always something going on.
A 'must visit' while in Dayton. The history of the area is told through Carillon park and is worth every penny! Plus the animatronics show is AWESOME!
Fun, informative trip through Dayton's history at a reasonable price. Great improvement from the free museum it was years ago. I want to go again so I can spend more time to see the exhibits more thoroughly. Only $7.00 and it's air-conditioned.
Very interesting and informative on Daytons hostory
So interesting at the Brewery! They bread and beer are fantastic and authentic!
Both the Culp diner and the Brewery are a pleasant outing. Loved seeing the bald eagles. Grounds are kept immaculate. So much to discover about Dayton
What a wonderful place. We will definitely be back to finish exploring the park.

This is a beautiful park and packed full of Dayton history and other interesting exbibits. Highly recommend from young to old.
very nice place. Very clean and we'll maintained. a lot of dayton and Ohio history. Would highly recommend. Unbelievable manufacturing history.
Super place to see Ohio history, look at the Wright Brothers number 3 flyer, old print shop, ride a carousel, Carillon Brewery and Restaurant, watch cooking demonstrations that way it was done in the 1800's, cash registers all different types. This is just a little of what is there all setting on 65 acres,, it's a small adventure
A wonderful place to visit! So much history here! You will be glad you visited! Learn about the cash register industry that began in Dayton, learn about the Wright brothers, how they began with bicycles and moved onto airplanes all in the Dayton area. If you are from the area you will see things that remind you of the NCR park that so many visited for so many years. We took a tour to Hawthorne Hill where the Wright brothers lived. The tour guide was phenomenal and he knew his history very well. Please take time when you re in the area to visit this park and all that it has to offer you will not regret it! It is a MUST place for a person who lives in the area to see!
Great day with my 9yr old daughter she called it a mommy daughter day i loved it
If you are interested in dating history this is the place to go fantastic exhibits a lot of knowledge and we really in love dit my wife and I went down when the Christmas tree was lit
We had such a blessed time here, didn't know this gem was here but so happy we found it. We will be spending more time here, such an amazing place!
In addition to all the historical features, this is also a great place for a wedding or other special event. The grounds are beautiful, and decorated for the season. A great place for a date.
Fun place to go... You will learn a lot and see new things every time.
This place is pretty cool and very well kept. I was there for a wedding and the atmosphere was great and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely recommend visit this place for a fun day trip. They have lots of thing going on including, from what I was told, the oldest train in the U.S.
I am absolutely in love. What a beautiful place! The bathrooms and grounds were spotless too!
Great place to visit. Plan on a day to go thru the Park
Great place! Everyone should visit here at least once. Allow plenty of time. There is really so much to see and do. Membership for a family is a great way to go.
Fantastic museum, very educational, and the perfect size. I will be back with out of state visitors! A quick walkthrough takes about 3 hours.
Sitting in the park to read book. The bell at noon plays for 5 min non stop. Very disttacting
The lights and the 1980s print shop was absolutely amazing and so so magical inside the 200ft tall tree of lights surrounding the bell tower!!
Excellent exhibits and history of Dayton manufacturing and inventions.
So much to see and do here for a very reasonable price.
We had a great time at the Carillon Christmas. An amazing family event.
This wonderful Dayton treasure is not to be missed. One visit is not enough. It is mind blowing there and you will be proud of Dayton and awestruck every time you visit! Love, love, love!
I was amazed at all of the things invented in Ohio. Also, the Wright brothers original plane is housed there. Lots to see! Their Holiday festivities include decorating the big bell outside. Upcoming around Thanksgiving. Make reservations! Going for the third time! Well worth the money! 11 or 12 dollars
What an awesome place to visit if you enjoy history! From all the innovators and inventors from the Dayton area to the Wright brothers, they cover it all with great displays. Just can't say enough good things about it.
