Thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits, so much history giving us a much better understanding of Dayton and it's contributions. We do think better directional signage, entrance was difficult to find as well as finding specific exhibits.

Good

This is a gem in Dayton! My son attends the University and we stopped by during our visit. Learned so much about the accomplishments and contributions of inventors and entrepreneurs from this area. Well done!

This is a great place to eat and have a few drinks! I wish I could go 4.5 stars. Our server was pretty good, there was 9 of us so the food was a little slow, which is completely understandable!

My husband and I paid a visit to Carillon Historical Park and were WOWED by it! The artifacts depicting Dayton's and Ohio's history are absolutely amazing. We throughly enjoyed the National Park's Service Wright Brothers display. Our guide, Tom, was a wealth of information and talked us through the Wright's history from engineering bicycles to designing and piloting the first aircraft plus other unknown tidbits. This park is definitely worth a visit.

If you want to learn about the history and creation of the Dayton region as well as inventions from our area that are still being used internationally, this is the place. All while having plenty to entertain kids of all ages. And a great restaurant and brewery as well as a great cafe for brunch. This is a full day and more of fun learning.

Quite fascinating place -- covers a great deal of Dayton, Ohio area history from the first pioneers to the age of aviation and the automobile. You can see log cabins, early frame homes, conastoga wagons, stage coaches, the Wright bicycle shop, the Wright B Flyer, train cars (Barney and Smith RR cars were built here), a Corliss engine, early automobiles, a huge collection of cash registers (some are amazing!) and early sports in Dayton (first football team in the NFL).
This is also a great place to visit if you come to Dayton to see the Air Force Museum or if you come for the amateur radio Hamvention.

In addition, there are outdoor carillon bell concerts, and small steam trains for the kids -- call ahead for scheduled events.

There is a great restaurant, gift shop and easy parking on site.
Much is outdoors, so dress warm in cold weather.
Allow at least four hours -- more if you take the Hawthorn Hill, Wright Brothers' house tour (1 1/2 hours, call ahead for reservations).
We loved the park.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The only improvement would be more bench's for people to sit. Elderly folks could visit more if they could sit as the park is stretched out. Great job Carrillon Park .

A different kind of beer experience. All the beer made here is made using techniques from 200 years ago. Warning: this gives the beer a bit of a sour taste! Still, the beer is good. They also have a restaurant I'm looking forward to checking out in the future.

It is a very beautiful place. If you want to visit this park, make sure you arrive there before noon, because it takes about three to four hours to go around majority of the things and they close at 4pm. Moreover, another problem you may come across is that it is self-guided, which can be challenging.

So much history here to enjoy if you love learning about mid industrial America in the local area. This is a great place for class field trips and the staff are very knowledgable about their subjects. There is something to interest everyone at the Park.

Beautiful, 65-acre historical park filled with sidewalks, displays, and various monuments. You can take a tour through the park to see all of the different sites. Tours are also available and these can be helpful as they are led by someone who knows a lot of information and history about the site. You could come here even if you just wanted to see the main 151 ft. talk monument for free!
