Travis, Brenda, and Jason are very helpful and have been responsive to our needs. They were able to troubleshoot shoot an install that other vendors said was not possible. Most recently, Jason was pleasant, knowledgable and did a good job. He explained our generator hookup and panel to me, so I was comfortable operating everything. He cleaned up his work space. I would recommend this group. Dawson's has done work in our home 2+ times.

Successfully resolved an issue I had with power to my garage. Arrived when they stated, did the work as described. Lo and behold I have power again! Would have gone with 5 starts but it would have been nice to know up front I would have to reseed and mulch the trenched area used to run the new line. I could have been better prepared to do the post work landscaping. After the recent rain, the dirt settled considerably. But the electrical work was excellent and they explained all that they were doing.
Donovan was extremely knowledgeable and thorough on connecting and installing electrical for our new hot tub. Him and his crew cleaned up after the job as well which you don't come across often these days. Thank you for a job well done !

Very knowledgeable electrician came out to my house the day and time as expected! I really appreciated that their office kept in touch with me, they reminded me about the appointment and the electrician called me before he arrived early for the appointment. Micah came out today to take a look at some annoying light fixtures that were flickering and shutting off. I ve had such bad experience with services companies that I immediately had my guard up and just knew he d try and charge me for something I didn t need. BOY DID HE PROVE ME WRONG! I originally gave 4 stars due to misinformation and the fact that I was not 100% satisfied with the end result. But, after speaking with Travis Dawson and clearing up some things, I had Donovan come back out and fully fix the issues and give me exactly what I wanted and paid for. At the end of the day, this is what it's all about. Making it right. Stellar. I will be using them again for my own business needs as well as recommend them to others for their residential needs.
Had Dawson's electric come out to my house to do some tasks that I didn't have much knowledge on the time and extent of the project. My girlfriend was the one home with the technician and she had excellent communication with Jason and felt he had a very high level of professionalism. I can't recommend this company enough on the quality of work and the peace of mind in having them in your home.
Word of advice to Novice's like myself. Have your task list written out and prioritized as well as your timeline. Ask those questions upfront it will help out in the longrun.

Jason from Dawson's Electric Inc replaced a ballast in my garage overhead light for me and answered any questions I had with regard to other potential electrical issues in my home. Jason did a great job! He installed a Nest doorbell to a door that did not previously have power going to it and made sure everything worked properly with the app. Very professional, Brenda did the scheduling and she was very nice and accommodating, got a text letting me know they were on the way and cleaned up upon leaving. I got another quote prior from a stand alone electrician and the cost could have been more with the possibility of having a wire on the outside of my wall. I almost gave up and didn't do the project but I called Dawson's. Rather than listing the problems, they gave me solutions and got it done. Thank you! Called Dawson's and was amazingly offered a same day appointment. Jason and partner disconnected an attic fan and ran a 220 volt line for a new mini split I'm having installed in my garage. Price was a bit higher than a few other ballpark quotes I'd gotten, but I know and trust their work so it seemed a worthwhile investment.

Jason came out again to address a punch list of electrical issues at my home. He was able to take care of my most pressing concerns same day, and offered numerous suggestions for future enhancements to our in-home and exterior lighting. Recommended.

After contacting other area electricians, some of whom didn't even return my call, I called Dawson's based on their google reviews. Suffice to say, I've found a new electrician. From speaking to office staff, to talking through the scope of work with Jason, to completion of the project, I couldn't be more pleased. Jason is super thorough, takes the time to answer your questions completely, and offers numerous suggestions for electrical improvements in your home. He also completed a whole house electrical inspection and found issues that demanded immediate attention. It's nice to find a contractor that has a genuine concern for the safety of my family. Dawson's will be doing more work for me in the future, and I recommend their services without hesitation.
Jason and his team were very knowledgeable and courteous. They went the extra mile to stay around and observe their work to make sure the reported problem didn't re-surface. Will definitely be giving them a call the next time I need an electrician.
I contacted Dawson's Electric to help me locate and replace my old doorbell transformer, and they did that PLUS way more. Our electrician (Micah) was at my house by 8am, did a walkthrough with me to discuss what I needed, and performed a panel check. Not only did Micah successfully perform the task that he came here for, he identified numerous safety hazards and fixed them, as well. Micah is the definition of great service and that speaks volumes about the wonderful company that he comes from -- Dawson's Electric. Great communication. Loved that I could track the arrival time. Upfront pricing. Jay was very polite and pleasant to work with. I appreciate that he pointed out things I might need to think about fixing, but without pressuring me into making any decisions. Plus, he fixed the issue for which he had been called very quickly!

Jay was very personable and professional. There were many tasks that I needed done at my home that I needed an expert to assist with. Everything seems to be in great working order and I am pleased with the service. The only drawback would be that the pricing on some of the repairs was quite high.
Jason was so courteous and professional. He quickly trouble shot and determined the root of my problem (what I had called for) and it was a simple fix. He then asked if there was anything else I was having trouble with (suggesting that as long as I was paying for a service call, might as well get the most out of him) and I pointed out a backyard switch on our shed that had quit working and he quickly determined the fix needed for that. Also included with any service call For Dawson s Electric was a house electrical inspection. He checked our breaker box, our GFI switches, and other electrical aspects of the house. I was really impressed with his thoroughness. My dogs liked him too!

Had a great experience with Jason of Dawson Electric! He replaced our broken and out of date light fixtures, being careful to educate me along the way. We will be having him back to do additional work. He was professional, knowledgeable, timely and his services were fairly priced.
Everything about my experience was great! Jay was very helpful and informative with what he was doing and made some great suggestions for future projects. They showed up on time, worked their butts off (about 2 hours in the attic in August) and just made it happen!

We purchased a backup generator and contacted Dawson's to install a connector. We made an appointment for today, expecting to have to make another of the installation. Instead, they had all the necessary equipment to do the job right away!! Jason even recommended a whole house surge protector I didn't know was even available. I'd rather be told about an electrical risk I was facing and have the choice of spending the money now or find out after a power surge and I 'd lost my TV, refrigerator etc. "Power surge", other than a direct lightning strike with evidence of the strike, is not covered under your homeowners policy. We simply have to many electrical appliances to run the risk of not having the surge protector.
The do outstanding professional work with a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Dawson's Electric for any of your electrical needs!

Dawson's Electric is awesome! Jason Trojan came out to our place and installed a new fan in our master bedroom and a new 'over the oven' microwave. Not the easiest of installs, he had to do some rewiring to make it happen - but Jason did an outstanding job. He offered some great recommendations for upcoming work as well. Love knowing that we have now found a company/electrician that we feel confident in and trust to work on our home.
I have fear when dealing with auto mechanics, plumbers, and electricians.. They are always finding something wrong besides what I hired them for and the bill goes haywire by hundreds of dollars. They give estimates but when you think job is complete it's..."oh by the way we found and fixed yada yada". Dawson understood I wanted a portable generator installation and they came out and looked over where my circuit boxes were, where the generators was going to be, etc.
When they arrived, on time might I note, Donovan went right to work. He worked steady for hours on the hottest day you can image and I just kept handing him bottles of water. When he was done he explained everything about not only operating the machine but operating it in a safe manner....he showed me the new panel that was installed and how to read it and the action I should take when a blackout occurs.
The only change in my bill was the tax amount added...what they estimated is exactly what was charged...what a relief. I gave Donovan a big hug for making my life a lot more comfortable during a blackout.
Im having this company come back out for two other projects and Im hoping Donovan will be available and if not,, I trust Dawson Electric company to have other workers who are as much an asset to this company as Donovan is but I will keep my fingers crossed that he's available.
Travis was quick to answer my call and his scheduler was great to deal with. They were easy to work with and they did a great job at a fair price. I would recommend them and will definitely use them again!
When I called to inquire about my ceiling fan I was informed there was a cost just for the electrician to come out and that he would be able to fix the problem with my ceiling fan and pay additional charge to fix it. I ended up spending $200 and never got buy ceiling fan fixed. I had to pay for the electrician to come out to my house, then I had to pay for the electrician to find out what was wrong with the ceiling fan but not fix the ceiling fan. He informed me I would have to pay more to have them install another ceiling fan if I wanted him to. This company is a rip off! This company doesn't deserve even 1 star but I had to click it to post this review.
Jason Trojan was super helpful. He spoke to me as a customer, not as a woman who wouldn t understand what he was saying. I really appreciated that. He made sure that I understood exactly what everything was for and how it worked . He took extra time to explain things very thoroughly . I was very impressed with him .
