I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted so the salesman had a very easy job. I also asked for two separate add-ons that the salesman was suppose to schedule I ended up having to go to the service department myself to schedule one of them and then press the fact with the salesman that the second add-on never got done. Finally I was able to get it. I would say the sale was a ok but the follow up was poor.

Original review: They pulled my credit score WITHOUT my permission and without my paper or electronic signature. Then they tried to tell me that because I got pre-qualified through the Chrysler Corporation that this automatically gives them the right to check my credit score. IT DOESNT. Chrysler's web page form clearly stated that pre-qualifying would NOT include a credit check. It also said NOTHING about Chrysler giving the dealership the go-ahead to pull my credit. I HAVE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO THEIR DEALERSHIP. I ONLY MADE AN INQUIRY OVER THE PHONE AND THEY PULLED MY CREDIT!!! The owner, Dave Sinclair called me after I complained and tried to convince me that this is how they've always done it. I told him that they are breaking the law. I told him I had NOT given them permission or signed ANYTHING. He would not admit they did anything wrong and I finally just hung up. WOW! It is serious to pull someone's credit without their authorization!!! BEWARE.

My family has been buy cars there since the 70's when it was owned by flier , Dave siclair bought it and it's slowly going to hell. 2 instances first one 2 months ago I go to buy a car they said they would get the car I wanted we found it online it was an hour away. I filled out a credit app to then be told two days later they didn't want to get that car now. I called the dealer that had it and they told me Sinclair never even tried to get it for me. Guess what Sullivan superstore got me the dart I wanted. Then my girlfriend takes her car in for repair asks for a rental she has rental coverage in her extended warranty they told her she's to young to get a rental (24) so she calls enterprise who says there is no issue renting her a car. 3 days in and she still can't get a rental. I don't mind driving but I have epilepsy and was ordered by a doctor not to drive for 6 months. I'm a third generation supporter of this dealer and I don't think they'll be a fourth . It's ashame it's not still fliers!! There are so good people that work there but you have some real winners as well. It's ashame.

Wow... Until I encountered this dealership, I always thought company mottos were simply meaningless and decorative artificial quotes that were used to catch the average consumer's attention. Let me tell you, the team at Dave Sinclair truly live by their motto: "If it's not right, we'll make it right!"
I initially had a few minor issues and concerns in regards to the truck I was interested in. They were extremely patient with me and answered all of my questions and reassured me with their extensive knowledge of their product. Ms/Mrs Schroeder (the manager) was extremely helpful and would even call my number personally to answer any questions I might have had and to schedule an appointment to test drive the truck I was interested in. Nowadays, managers only seem to come out whenever the costumer is close to buying a vehicle and there is an issue, which is sad. This was not the case at Dave Sinclair. The manager went above and beyond in order to gain my trust and my business, from the beginning I just felt very comfortable and felt like I could trust her all the way. This for me, is VERY important.
I also felt very comfortable dealing with the salesman assigned to me, Kevin, who is awesome and instantly built some rapport with me (his son is also in the Army and went to Basic Combat Training where I am currently stationed at). It is small details like these that gain my business right away, they assigned someone they knew wouldn't screw me over, in the Army we are all pretty much brothers and sisters, screwing over a fellow battle buddy of his son's would basically be like screwing over his son's brother or best friend, at least that's how I would feel if anyone in my family tried to screw over another soldier.
Anyway, (getting off topic here) Kevin gave me the best deal from the get go. How do I know this? Well, I always shop around before buying a vehicle, no other dealership came even close to the deal Kevin offered me. Except for one dealership, HOWEVER, their truck was a 2WD and NOT a 4x4! I was skeptical at first, so I looked up the VIN and the truck was clean and clear. No damage, no scratches, nothing... This was one of those times where the saying "this is too good to be true" was actually false. The deal was good, and there was no catch, no hidden fees, just good customer service and a deep sense of caring for their customers. EVEN the general manager came out to shake my hand and answer any questions I had, I've never experienced that before at any other dealership.
In conclusion, I am extremely glad I drove two hours in order to visit this dealership. I am stationed in Fort Leonard Wood and the dealerships around the base are sketchy. These guys took care of me and even gave me a military discount along with a military cash rebate, without me even asking! Dave Sinclair is awesome (how many times have I used the word "awesome" already?) and I will definitely be coming back again whenever I need to purchase another vehicle. So if you want the best trade in offer you can get (with no low ball offers like some other dealerships) the best deals on vehicles and the best customer service experience, make sure you come to this dealership first! Trust me, it will also be your last stop! =]

Make sure you request Kevin, he will take care of you! When dealing with the finance guy, remember to be clear about what you want and don't want with the purchase of your vehicle. Like in any other dealership, ALWAYS check your numbers and make sure everything is good to go in order to avoid any hiccups along the way! If you have any issues (which I highly doubt you will at this dealership) make sure you contact Ms/Mrs Schroeder! She is on YOUR side and will gladly help you out if any issues or concerns arise.

We bought a used 2018 Grand Cherokee from them. 2 weeks in we started having problems with the 8.4 Uconnect system. It would freeze up, not let us control the heated seats or heated steering wheel, backup camera issues.
After bringing back to them a few times to re-flash the firmware they ended up ordering a new infotainment system and installed it in 20 minutes. The total out of pocket cost for us was $0 + gas and time. We were expecting to get the shaft and runaround with this whole issue and they really took care of us and stood by their 30 day warranty. Usually love having my cars serviced at Dave Sinclair in Pacific. Today not so much. Dropped car off early to go do some errands. Appointment was at 1pm for oil change, tire rotation and inspections. Car was finally ready at 4pm. Three hours seems pretty lengthy of a time for these services to be preformed. Again I was not a drop in I had a scheduled appointment! I believe I have one more oil change paid for and then I may have to explore my options. Annalise and Mike at service desk are great my problem is with the time taken to service my car!

If you're reading this please DO NOT purchase a car from this dealership. If I could give it negative stars I would. We are trying to contact the attorney general regarding this dealership. If you have any issues with your car please expect to make constant phone calls and contact corporate in order to get any information and even if you get that far, things will not be resolved without you paying out of pocket.
Long story short: they had our car for 6 months, they gave us a new warranty to cover the brand new parts they replaced, our car started having issues again, the new mechanic said the parts they replaced were actually not new but very old and we were told that we would have to pay because the new warranty only covers the brand new parts (that we don't even have). After going through corporate they have agreed to pay for us to get the brand new parts we were suppose to have to begin with BUT the real reason for the issues in the car, they discovered, is a whole different part that has actually been damaging other parts of our car and they never told us about it until now we'll have to pay for that because it's not in the new warranty. Sound crazy? It's because it is!
My husband bought a 2013 Dodge Dart from this dealership the year it came out. Not long after Dave Sinclair bought out this Pacific dealership and then refused to honor our previous contract on our car.
Within the first few years my husband's car started experiencing lots of issues and we would pay to get it fixed at the dealership only for issues to pop up a few months later.
In the fall of 2019 we took our car in again because of lots of issues and we DID NOT GET OUR CAR BACK UNTIL MARCH 2020. Here are the reasons we were given: they had to fire a mechanic, the mechanic they fired put the parts in wrong so they had to redo it, they were waiting on the parts and didn't know what was taking so long and said they'd call and check on shipping (this took weeks), they finally got the parts but they were damaged and had to wait for new parts. As soon as the car was finished they gave us a new warranty to cover the brand new parts they put in.
But once we got our car back after 6 months at their shop issues started up again almost immediately but due to covid we couldn't take our car in so we just didn't drive it unless absolutely necessary. We finally took it in a few weeks ago and the new mechanic said the parts that were causing issues (the new parts they supposedly put in) were actually very used and needed to be replaced immediately. She told us that we would have to pay out of pocket because the warranty only covers new parts and these ones were obviously not new and had over 100 miles one them.
So not only did they LIE to us about the "new" parts they put in, but they also gave us a warranty that didn't cover anything at all.
We contacted corporate who tried to be a liaison between this dealership and us and they asked what we were willing to pay for the new parts. When we told them we weren't going to pay anything because they lied to us and screwed us over, we were told they would talk to them and call back in the next day or two. Fast forward a week, my husband tries calling corporate again and we're told that the dealership will pay for us to get the new parts BUT the part that's actually damaging the engine and turbo charger will need to be replaced and paid for out of pocket. So the part that has been causing this issue all along was never fixed, they just replaced our engine and turbo charger with used ones and the used one got damaged more because the main cause of the issue was NEVER FIXED TO BEGIN WITH.
To top everything off they are refusing to give us a rental. We have a toddler and we need something to drive as we are not always going to the same places.
They refuse to honor their warranty, they are dishonest, they do things illegally and then try to make you pay for it and over all they just don't care. They just want your money and they don't care how they get it.

Update 7/19/19: Had my car about a year now. I've taken it to DS 3-4 times for service. Everyone has always been friendly but having someone get back to you about making appointments is difficult. My biggest complaint is, when test-driving my car, I asked the salesman if it has a specific feature. He answered "it's got all that". Well... a month or so later, I decided to tryout this feature and... NO, IT DOES NOT. And it costs about an extra $1,000 to add on. Rating has been updated. As always, buyer beware.

I took my 2008 PT Cruiser Convertible to this shop because I had just purchased the car and on my way home from buying it my check engine light came on and the transmission dropped into low - This was on Saturday so Sunday I took the car to auto zone so they could read the code. The code read P0882 - TCM (Transmission Module Control) - I was told then I needed to go to a dealership to get the part replaced - I called Dave Sinclar on Monday and they gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning 7:30 am - I told them at that time what the code was that O Riley gave me and how the cars transmission dropped down in to low gear right after the Check engine light came on - I was contacted by Terry and was told the battery wires were loose and that was the problem I then again told him about the check engine light coming on and the car downshifting to low gear and asked him if he could please take the car out, run it hard just to make sure - he said he would. While I was talking to him I told him about a piece of trim on the drivers side seat that kept popping off and needed fixed - he checked it and got back with me and told me it would be $160.00 to replace it, they did. I never heard anything from anyone on Wednesday so I called them around 6pm - Brent was there and very kindly stayed after hours to fill out the paperwork so I could pick up the car - I mentioned to him at that time about the TCM and my transmission dropping into low - if a loose battery wire could really cause that - he assured me yes it could. I then went to the dealership and paid $241.98 for the seat trim replacement - when I got home (I live directly behind the dealership - maybe 1/8 of a mile) and got out of my car, I noticed a 2-3 inch cut in the leather on the drivers side seat that had to be done during the installation of the seat trim. I m saying this to be a fact simply because like I said I just bought the car and I went over the leather on the seats thoroughly before I bought it and was impressed how nice the leather was for a 2008. I then decided to go to the store - I never even got a mile done the road, once again the check engine light came on and the transmission dropped down into low gear. Back to the dealership I went and told the receptionist I never even made it past Citizens Bank before the check engine light came on and the transmission dropped once again. She hollered at the man that was there and he said he wasn t going to write it up tonight that he would do it tomorrow. On Thursday afternoon yet another man contacted me from the dealership and told me I needed a new transmission - then he tried to convince me that him and I had talked about my car needing a new transmission - I told him no we hadn t that the only thing ANYONE had said to me was about the loose wires, that I was the only one that even brought up a transmission problem. (I never spoke to anyone in person except the receptionist and the man that checked my car in on Tuesday - Everyone else was on the phone so you should have recordings to verify what I m saying to be true) Then he told me that replacing my transmission would be $6,000.00 - I told him that I was going to check on prices as I thought I could get a better price elsewhere - I had my car towed to AAMCO this morning. Soooo - you ask was I satisfied with the service - absolutely not - just a waste of my time - car wasn t fixed and my drivers side seat leather was left with a cut in it after the new trim was installed!!!

As of right now I am less than pleased with this place.. In 2017 we bought a brand new big horn dodge Cummins dulley from Dave Sinclair. We use this truck strictly for only barrel races, hauling horses out of state. We keep this truck in tip top shape, it is always always clean, waxed, oil changes are done on time. Two weeks ago we had taken it in to Dave Sinclair service department for a water pump recall, we went ahead and said to do a tire rotation as well, things were less than satisfying . Our rotation was not done the right way tires were just flipped from one side to the other instead of back coming to the front, and the worse part of it was when we got home to hook our truck up .. our truck started making a terrible noise everytime we start it. We called them right away, and they took our truck for a few days and sent my husband a video saying "sounds fine to me" well my husband went to pick it up two days later.. They lost our keys at pick up time, they had to call several people to locate our fob and they finally found it on the mechanics tool box. We got home started the truck two days later and it's still making this terrible noise. This time we video taped it and sent it to them. We bought a 2013 Cummins from Royal gate dodge and we never once had this kinda of problem.. The customer service has treated us like we are idiots and we don't know what's going on. Our truck is suppose to be going back to them tonight unless things change for us and they suck our butt I am telling everyone to stay away from this place. There was nothing wrong with our truck until we took it to Dave Sinclair.

It took 20 mins. To get a gas cap there. And then we had to go a different building to pay for it . I'll never go back again. St. Louis is not that far to drive for a part. They'd rather spend time on a phone than take care of a paying customer. Very dissatisfied !!!

Buying my car there from Kevin Warren was GREAT, wonderful customer service!! The problem was when I took my car in for it's oil change. I was in there for hours and the person put me down for things I didn't ask to be done. There was another gentleman there the same time I was and after hours they came in and told him they wouldn't be able to get to him because he had stuff in the way of them working on it. This was after 2 1/2 hours of us sitting there. needless to say he was pissed and rightfully so. It took me less time to buy my car than it did to get the oil changed. Sad

This was my first time working with Dave Sinclair in Pacific Mo. I was looking for a second vehicle. I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles I was primarily looking for something practical, an SUV with 4WD that would get me through the winter so I can park my 2015 Mustang in the garage for the winter months. I was also looking for a vehicle with a good safety rating. Safety is priority for me as my son will be turning 16 and will probably be learning how to drive soon. The staff there is professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Never once did I feel pressured. I found a 2014 Jeep Compass on their website that was within my price range that meet my expectations. I had the pleasure of working with Joe, he was very patient as our deal took 10 day to complete because of my work schedule. Joe was always quick to respond to any questions and or concerns that I had while working with him. Over all I had a great first time experience and I highly recommend Dave Sinclair in Pacific Missouri if you are looking to purchase a vehicle.

We just left this dealership and I have to say, they were the most helpful dealership I have ever encountered! My husband and I are on our way to Texas pulling a trailer with our Durango when we had lighting problems last night about 6:30pm. I called the dealership knowing the service department had probably closed. The owner, Dave Sinclair answered my call. He was truly interested in our problem and gave us some tips to avoid a dead battery. He called the service department to see if anyone was still around and set us up for an appointment this morning when they opened. Unfortunately, we need a new circuit box and we couldn't wait to order one. Back on the road but if we lived in this area, we would certainly buy our next vehicle from them!
