Not only have i been impressed with the technology that is offered, I have also been extremely impressed with the level of customer service that Custom Security has. They are honest and upfront with you about everything. it doesn't matter what time it is, if something happens you can call and actually talk to real person. Custom Security service has been top notch, had a sensor that was going bad and they scheduled a tech to come out to repair it within a couple of days, they have been great with monitoring our system.

We had service scheduled to update our system and add doorbell and security cameras. The crew arrived at the scheduled time, installation was performed in a professional manner, with all work areas being cleaned up upon completion of installation. The lead technician assisted in installing and setting up the apps on our phones and walked through their use and the use of the new key pads installed. Custom Security has always been Professional, Friendly & Very Quick to Respond whenever Alarm is set off. We have had a Great Experience with the whole team from sales to technicians to customer service. I have have used other Alarm Companies in the past but none as good as Custom. Very Pleased!
Custom Security (CS) installed the camera equipment and DVR at our neighborhood entrance in Prairieville, La. In the past 12 months, we have needed to use the cameras three times. All three times, there has been an issue and CS has had to come out.
This morning I went to retrieve footage and exact same thing. The DVR is no longer powered up and we cannot get the footage needed from a break-in.
The above are not an opinion - they are facts.
They are responsive and friendly on the phone but their equipment is sub-par and not worth what they charge.
I would not recommend using them for any neighborhood / large scale applications.

I have used Custom Security for over 20 years and 5 houses, always knowing my home is well protected. They have their own local, 24-hour monitoring station, unlike many other companies, and an efficient and courteous staff (from call center personnel to technicians). My go-to representative is Corey Spano, who has helped me with several system designs and upgrades. He quickly responds to any questions or concerns, no matter the complexity. With Custom and Corey, I know I'm always covered.
Customer service is HORRIBLE!!! It took them 2 weeks to get me a quote for service work on a fire alarm system(replacing 1 part). I approved the quote within a day or two. It has now been a month since i have heard anything from anyone. I have called there office multiple times and can only get to the receptionist. I was able to talk to who i believe was to be one of the managers and he was real brief with me and told me he would try and move some schedules around to help me out...a week went by and I once again did not hear from anyone. Just horrible, horrible service. From now on when i need service on a Mircom Panel i will pay for someone to come from out of town.

Prompt, Professional, Tidy, and even offered to replace hall light bulbs they noticed that were out for us with their handy dandy ladder. On May 15, 2018 I had an error code show up on my security system since I was scheduled to leave town this day I immediately contacted Custom Security to help with my problem. The customer service this company provides is second to none. In this day and age of rude and clueless customer service this company stands way, way out. I have been with Custom Security for well over 20 years, and have never had a bad experience. They sent a team out to fix the problem the same day since I was planning to go out of town. The 2 service guys (Jody's name is on invoice) figured out the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes by running a wire in the attic. Turns out I also ended up needing a new battery, I went into the office to purchase it and the lady who helped me (long, dark hair) was extremely nice, very knowledgeable and made sure that I was taken care of and since it was my second time in the office that day did not charge me for the battery. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality, well run security company, all the employees are top notch that I came into contact with.
