Thanks for telling me the bank would be open on Saturday till 4 o'clock when I call you a day prior before New Year's and then showing up on that Saturday to know that the bank is closed at one thanks a lot great job US eagle

I've been with the cu for almost 20 years and they've always been very helpful and service has always been good. The cu doesn't charge for every little nick nack like other banks, the only reason why I gave them 4 stars is because you can't do cash advances over the phone anymore. Cool employees!

*EDITED: They will cash your checks and secure your money for you, but even with a long standing relationship and perfect payment record, they will not approve loans that other institutions will. So...they get what they need from you (money in the bank), but won't provide it to you as a customer (as a loan), a bit one sided. Thanks but no thanks, 10 years of business with them and I am closing my accounts.

My comments have nothing to do with standard banking, such as withdrawals or check cashing, they do that do that just fine. The problem is the money that they are securing (through those checking, savings, etc. accounts) is supposed to be loaned back into the community. That's not happening....

if you enjoy being treated like a criminal instead of a customer, this is the company for you. I had a "greeter" physically attempt to pull the ball cap off of my head when I went into the irving branch.
I also have had several branches try to force me to remove my prescription glasses because they were tinted.........mind you I am a 60 year old man.......
They have no inkling of what it means to treat their (longtime) customers with respect.
There are many choices for financial institutes in this town, be forewarned and choose one that cherishes your business...

There is not customer service - there is customer abuse. Phone wait times are extreme. I you need a balance on an account be prepared to provide too much information. They don't ask what you want before they start asking for information - it is intrusive and not needed - it is not for my protection if I only want simple information. I went in to cash an old traveler's check - they didn't know what it was and wasted 30 minutes while the staff was trying figure out what it was!
Service charges on accounts and so forth - unfair and unreasonable.
The process at the customer counter is terrible - if you can wake up the people working at it. Don't touch the keyboard to enter your account - I was asked to enter information after standing in line after a lady sneezing on the keyboard - no thanks.
The only reason I keep an account is the Saturday hours.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mary and Kendra for their exceptional customer service. Mary spent a lot of time explaining the debit card process; helped me understand the debt insurance criteria; and answered many other questions. Kendra also provided additional information with auto pay to another company and valuable insight as to the daily limited use of the debit card. They both exhibited the core values of desire to serve their customer; ability to perform their tasks/job exceptionally well; and the perseverance to ensure customer satisfaction. Mary and Kendra are both awesome customer service/care personnel who are shining examples for other team members to follow. They are outstanding personnel who have the patience, pride, and exemplary professionalism to be the cornerstones for Eagle Federal Credit Union. I love this credit union. They really try to do a good job. Employees are friendly, helpful and well educated about their products. I worked in a big credit union in Chicago and I am very particular about customer service. This credit union is very professional.

Says they're open until 4 on Saturday but the lobby is actually closed, and for some inexplicable reason they don't let you pay your car payment through the drive thru with a debit card. So I have to drive all the way across town to the branch where the lobby is open. They don't make it easy to give you their money.

We have a business account with them. Not only was the staff misinformed when we tried to get new BOD signatures, they inconvenienced the BOD by having them come to the branch multiple times (from an hour away) to get them as new signatories on the account!!!!

They've made a couple mistakes over the. course of my auto loan (about two years now). I went to refinance a while back. After retuning signed papers, they said it was in processing and to expect a call within a few days to confirm everything. Over two weeks later, not having heard back, I called to follow up and they had completely forgotten about my loan. The loan officer actually told me it got lost on her desk! Seriously?

Additionally, every time I call in to ask a simple question I wait on hold for at least 15 minutes or more. Several of the bankers have given me attitude because I don't have my account number handy (are they really too lazy to look it up?). I ve never once gotten the feeling they value my business. To be honest, I've had many better experiences with the big banks.

Terrible customer service. Groupon took an unauthorized amount of $150 out of my husband's account so my husband started the dispute process. He called to see where the process was at and they said "we need more information written down on paper and faxed to us" so he wrote everything down even though he gave all the information over the phone already, so the letter stated all the information that they already had, well he called a day later to see if they received the fax, they said no and ended up saying that the number that the dispute center gave him was the wrong number, well he sent the letter to the other number then called back again to see if they received it, he was on hold for an hour waiting for them just to say "we don't have the fax and to get ahold of a third party company, so he called them and they said that they don't deal with cards from this bank. So he called back and waiting 30 minutes just for the lady to hang up on him. Then he called again and they were asking why he was even sending a fax and that normally they don't do faxes for disputes, at the end of all of this he still got zero information regarding if they got his fax or not and he still doesn't know the status on the dispute.

I recently went in to the credit union to do a deposit to my mothers account and spoke with one of the tellers at the downtown branch where the employee not only assisted me with what I needed but in talking with her she saw that I was headed to get a notary and told me I didn t have to be a member there and that they would be happy to do it for me at no cost. I will be back to open my account as I am never treated like this at my current bank Nusenda.

I have been a member for nearly 16 years back when it was US New Mexico Federal Credit Union. If you like not knowing your own balance then this bank is for you! Constantly having outages...extremely frustrating. Get your act together!
