Love coming here with the kids. It does get crowded over the weekend though. So many exhibits and animals to see. Very hands-on and fun.

One of the best little experiences for an under 8. A real hidden gem and worth every penny.
What a great local spot for families with kids! Our son is 2 and the animal area was definitely perfect for him. Some of the science area went a bit over his head but I think we will be able to enjoy this for many years to come.
Great science exhibits and zoo. I am especially fond of the Great Grey Owl. She looks so big and fluffy.
If you go to Curiodyssey to see a zoo, you may be disappointed: there is one but very small. No good reason to go is the games of scientific discovery for children: even little ones will have fun and ask questions. Heaps of varied experiences, very well done workshops, I was pleasantly surprised and I do not see any equivalent in France (but I want addresses if it exists!).
My two daughters are 3 and 6 years old, but smaller children have fun too.
If you go to Curiodyssey thinking you are visiting a zoo, you might be disapointed: there is one but it is very small. The good reason to go there is the scientific area, where children of all ages will find all kinds of experiments. I was there with my two daughters who were 3 and 6 yo, but there were younger children who had lots of fun too.
I highly recommend it!
Small but friendly children's discovery museum meets mini zoo. Excellent location by Coyotes Point. Outdoor picnic tables near parking lot. Need to pay for parking. Outdoor playground.
I would call this a smaller, more intimate version of the Exploratorium, with animals. I attended an event that was all about bubbles. Definitely geared toward younger children. Go enjoy a fun afternoon at Coyote Point Park and visit this fun learning center
Great fun place for close observation of animals and hands on activities
Great place for family. Rescue animals are being taken care of in a nice location by the ocean.
Great spot for toddlers because it's outdoor zoo area is enough animal viewing for most little ones while the indoor interactive displays can keep the little minds entertained as well.
Safe parking will controlled access and playgrounds near the lots. Won't find that in SF.
Absolutely worth a membership as that includes a parking pass. Nice walking trails as well.
Like a mini Exploratorium. Got to touch the reptiles on reptile day and fun to see all of the exhibits.
Low key fun place at Coyote Point. Great for adults and kids
Fun place, a bit small but great for kids! Parking is $6, but the lot services a lot of places.
I took my grand children here today. They had a wonderful time. Also really enjoyed the animals.
Nice zoo and kids museum. A lot of great features. Museum is not large but if you live nearby, its worth to get an annual pass. Surrounded with beautiful bay view, BBQ area and playground for kids.
The zoo looked not very well prepared for exhibition. Most animals were hiding or sleeping, boring for a little child. The only really playful inhabitants were river otters.
This musuem is perfect for young kids. My toddler loved it. It's the little things like stools everywhere and little ladders by the exhibits. It was really nice that he could explore on his own without having to be picked up constantly. He was also fascinated by the compost microscope.
Really loved this kid friendly interactive experience. Great for all ages, but highly recommended for kids under 8. I had a great time with my 11 year old.
Nice little science museum with a small wildlife refuge. The river otters were a big hit with the kids. 6$ parking.
Half science museum half zoo. It is a bit on the small size but my kids love it.
Good visit with kids. There a lot of things to do and to look around. Very friendly and clean.
Great small place for kids up to about 5. Membership is a good deal plus you get parking for the magic mountain playground next door.
Awesome for kids of all ages. I had a blast as an adult guest
I have loved taking my young child here for years. We love the exhibits and the animals. But the science classes are the best! My daughter has learned so much here, very hands on, age appropriate, great teachers, everything you could want.
Fun for kids! It's like a mashup of Exploratorium and a Zoo.
Fun place for kids all ages. There's a little zoo and a learn-and-play area
It was okay not fun for kids during these times of the supposed virus. Wish there were more animals. My kids got bored not worth the hour and a half drive. we drove more time getting there than in the actual park. Not to mention the pricey parking fee plus admission meh
The museum has a small indoor space with some interesting science stations for all ages. The outdoor zoo has some animals like racoons, fox, owls, and small reptiles. You could definitely do Coyote point and skip CuriOdyssey - the walking trail behind the museum is gorgeous!
Great place for kids to go explore, on sunny days, waves get very small at the beach and parks make a great adventure!
One of our favorite places. Make sure to visit the park nearby.
Wish they would utilize the indoor space to its Capacity. Also sad they don't do the animal "shows" anymore.
Kids love it. A cool place surrounded by a great park with views.
Fun for kids indoor and outdoor, activities and animals.
Lovely place for children and adults. Picknick tables there also.
This place was underwhelming after having been to the children's discovery museum in San Jose.
So much to do and it is in a great location for hiking, playground, flying kites. So much fun
Nice place for young kids to explore for an hour or so, under 2 is free and not too expensive for adults.
I went here randomly to see the animals. While they were cute, you could tell they were in distress from the small cages. Frantically running around, looking stressed, etc.
Visited there but no animals were out in the zoo and could not see. My kids were disappointed and kept asking when they will come. However the science museum is really good and is nice place for kids to hangout with fun and learning.
If you want your kids have good fun, bring them here, they going to love you more!!
There's a feeling of respect and love from staff to animals here. Wonderful place.
Was here for a wedding and rating is based on that. Definitely not a good place for a wedding. It is architecturally built so that you cannot see other guests unless they are on your floor. Never mind seeing the bride and groom if you're not in their floor. Sound check was horrible as well. Could not hear speeches or music unless you were directly in front of the speaker. Getting up and down the levels made everyone's feet hurt. You would enter to the right but walk across the room to get the the 2nd level and then walk across that room to go up to the 3rd level. Did not enjoy being there for a wedding at all.
Such a fun place for kids. My 13 month old loves it.
Our favorite place to take our two year old. The zoo is small, but still very interesting for kids, the activities and puzzles are captivating. She loved the fog machine, and of course the wind tubes :)
Great fun for my 3 year old and 5 year old. Great hands on learning experiences.
Great little place with interactive displays and a mini zoo where you can see the rescued animals. Will definitely invest in a membership when my son is a little older. He just turned one.
Very good place to take the be kids, they get to know science or get interested in science. Parking could be an issue, I was lucky to find one close to the entrance.
Great place for toddlers and little ones, my elementary age kids are about outgrowing it, but we had many years of fun with them when they were little. If you have a membership, parking is free - which is nice, to visit the big park too.
Event held at CuriOdyssey! Lovely space!
Simple Joie Photography
Educational fun for the whole family. It's like the exploratorium and zoo in one.
Really great science museum. Includes physics experiments/displays and a small zoo. Awesome morning or weekend activity for kids.
I m a wedding coordinator who had a wedding at CuriOdyssey. This is a very beautiful place for a unforgettable wedding. The view of the bay is amazing! All of our guests, including bride and groom were impressed with the ambiance here. I would recommend CuriOdyssey to our couples.
This is such a great hidden treasure on the peninsula! It's sort of a smaller scale Exploratorium plus zoo rolled into one, with great views of the bay and a beautiful event space that can be rented out.
Real Nice Relaxing Area to Watch The Air Planes Land at SFO
Great for kids to run wild and explore science and wildlife
Very amazing animals, each one cuter than the next. They are all friendly, and it's nice to know that they aren't just there to look at, but to engage people to know and understand. They are all rescued and better.
My kids had a fantastic time at all the exhibits, spent several hours here, and will be back!
I kids had a good time let me know if really for them to do them to keep their attention for them. Not too many animals either it's okay for little kids
Excellent place for family to spend time and learn more about the nature.
Fun interactive toddler friendly (still sophisticated ) science exhibits and urban wild animal touch and feel. Near bay marina, watch planes landing from real close. Playground and short hikes/walks nearby.
Love the science exhibits and the animals. My daughter can stay here all day. She loves this place so much we renewed our membership.
I was pleasantly surprised. It is small in area, but combines a small zoo, aviary, children DIY and science stuff. The location is great as well and there are several picnic spots around the place.
Great place to take toddlers and young kids, both for the science inside and the animals outside. Highly recommend for a fun day.
Great family place. Educational and family friendly.
Great for kids! My 2 1/2 and 4 year old have a great time every time we go. We have a membership, which is totally worth it. The kids still discover new things every time, even though we have been there many times now.
This is a really great kids museum and zoo. All the hands-on exhibits are usable by a wide range of ages. The zoo is compact but has a good variety of animals. I think the highlight of the zoo area is the otter exhibit. It's really well done. On a clear day it's really good place for watching planes land at SFO and boats putter in and out of the harbor.
Great place for toddlers hopefully will have more animals
Is awesome for kids when they are on vacation from school!!!
Curiodyssey is a great place for kids. During the winter of 2018, there's a great light exhibit for kids.
Great location, good views of San Mateo bridge, San Francisco and east bay. But can be noisy with all planes flying overhead.
Great place to still and enjoy the view. Also a very nice park for kids
Zoo alternative. Kids will get more out of their visit here because it's one part zoo, one part exploratorium and one part playground. Outside air is really good but can be a little cold, young children should be bundled up. There is water play exhibits so bring extra clothes, members go through lines faster and parking can be tight so get there early. Go on a day you can attend all the live feedings.
They have bobcats, raccoons, and river otters here.
