I spent a few days in this hotel the staff are so friendly to listen and smile. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The setting is all just splendid. I would go back.

Was there in july with my 10 year old son for 2 weeks. We had a marvelous time there! The beach is very pretty and very clean! The rooms are big, clean and Nice. The food was delicious! The staff was very Nice and super helpful. There are 2 swiming pools, and many water sports are available. It s all super clean! There are 4 different restaurants To eat in. Activities are held at night but nothing is mandatory. There is a game room for the kids (games are not free).
Nothing more magical than looking at the sunrise each morning from the hotel beach.
Good to know, the hotel is 10mn far driving distance from the 1st small town and there is no bus stop nearby but taxis are available to take you anywhere. It s definitely a great place to stay To spend some Nice, beautiful, relaxing holidays. I recommend it!!!

We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and booked 3 rooms. While booking and also upon arrival, we had informed the FOM. But he said this occasion is no more celebrated and indeed no special arrangement were made. We were really disappointed. Moreover our parents had to change their room almost at mid night due to rat in the room. There was also mosquitoes in the room, the ceiling fan was not working, no shower gel while using the bath tub and very poor wifi connection. On Friday afternoon (around 16hrs), there was no staff in kids club. Saturday morning, though the hotel was almost fully booked and lots of children around, there was only 1staff in kids club which did not seem safe to leave children there. However the Ferney restaurant service was excellent with good food, welcoming waiters, F&B manager constantly checking the table and special thanks to Chef Kevin. Otherwise overall very disappointed!

It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel with all its facilities. I will come back soon and will also recommend to other friends and family to come to your hotel.

Resort with one of the best beaches on east coast. Overall a very good property to enjoy your vacation. A very elaborate buffet menu as well.

Waste of money and time been there for my wife bday, room service bad service restaurant ordered drinks took more than 30 mins to be served my wife bday cake was served to another table at the restaurant and reception doesnt know there job properly and coudnt answer our questions only the bar by the beach did a great job overall for my next holidays wont be the Maritim resorts

Nice place for a daily package , access to pools , good entertainment... No pressure on you...However the barman should improve the taste of his cocktails . Drinks a little too sweet . There should be a locker for day package clients to put their bags ! As well as a special changing room . But cool atmosphere...

Is worth its 4 stars. Generously furnished rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Possibly. Defects will be remedied promptly. DISCRETE animation. Restaurants are very good and the buffets rich, but more should be done against pigeons, which are quite numerous on and under the tables to find and some pieces of bread "lick". Otherwise but clean to very clean. I would come again.

Except for the drinking water availability, this hotel was fairly good. It got good atmosphere and great beach.

Unlimited drinks for day package but no snacks. Lunch was good. Lots of choices. Specially the grilled chicken and croquette pomme de terre. Desserts were awesome. Room nice and comfy. Playground for children also, which is a plus . Will definitely visit again but not on a day package

We had a nice holiday at the Maritim Crystals Beach Hotel. The price-performance ratio is good. The beach is beautiful. The food was delicious and you had the opportunity to book in a la carte restaurants.
Only criticism: cleanliness. The room cleaning was very superficial, often lacked towels or there were foreign hair in the bathroom. What was very surprising, except shower gel, shampoo and soap was nothing in the bathroom. No body lotion, no cotton swabs, no shower cap, no facial tissues ... The things seem to exist, because on request at the front desk we got something! Very strange, in other hotels it is self-evident. The communication with the front desk because of missing or broken things was sometimes cumbersome. The bathrooms could generally do with a renovation.
In the public areas was always something broken, especially in the toilets: broken handles, missing soap dispenser etc.
But if you want 5 stars, you pay twice as much in Mauritius. Overall, the hotel is therefore still recommended.

I would like to share my opinion that i have spent at your Hotel this last week end.
Eventually the service and the staff were very helpful and also very nice.
I have been there for 2 nights, rooms highly recommended to renovate, mostly the furniture s, the bed was not appreciated as you are rated as 4 star plus and also the additional kid bed. A deep bad smell coming from the washroom, highly recommended looking for a cleaning or servicing of the sink.
My three days staying at the Hotel I received fish & chicken for lunch and dinner. No entertainment for week-end, like dance, karaoke or live Sega.

An absolutely beautiful hotel complex! We were received with a welcome drink and were given a tour of the hotel. The employees are all super friendly!
But why not from 5? In my eyes it should be almost perfect for 5 stars. And then a few things were missing.
Unfortunately, we found the food to be mediocre. The selection varied little over 14 days, and the quality was not always good. (For example, the cold cuts just didn't taste good on some days, some of the food was labeled that wasn't there).
The hotel itself cannot do anything about the next point: In June it is winter in Mauritius - and the wind on the beach was so uncomfortably strong at that time that you really couldn't lie there - the wind and the sand flying with it was too strong /too much.
But to get further to the positive 4-star rating: clean rooms, clean facilities and a varied program thanks to the entertainment - also great for parents with children, as there was a program for the little ones every day. We went snorkeling in the Indian Ocean on a glass bottom boat! Super-duper.
Every concern was immediately taken care of with absolute friendliness and the improvement implemented (e.g. forgotten towels for room service / forgotten new water in the minibar).
We will be happy to come back - in the summer of Mauritius.

I arrived at the hotel in the evening, only to find dirty linen. The duvet cover & pillow cases were dirty with lots of stains on them. I called reception, three times and every time I was told housekeeping is on its way. The drainage system in the shower wasn't functional, I showered in a puddle of water everyday. They sent out maintenance to come fix the drainage, but the repair work only lasted a few minutes.
The people are great, beach is lovely & location too. The hotel has potential to be a great hotel, they need to do the necessary maintenance on their property, but new beds, bedding, towels & renovate the rooms. In my view, it easily passes as a 2 star, rather than a 4 star.

Room dirty. Staff overstrained and annoyed. Problems with English. This makes communication difficult. For complaints, it takes an average of 4 days to respond to constant demand then finally. Food very monotonous. At the beach fight for beach chairs, since already in the morning at 6.00 o'clock all with towel reserved. Constant sound due to loud music throughout the house. Even in the toilets.

The food is really average but the hotel as well as the room and the different heated pool and jacuzzi are really good!

The hotel is beautiful, the beach is great, just a little further from the bustling area of the north. If it is a pure bubble hotel, beach lovers recommend it here.

Great place to hang out. I really loved the place and the beach facilities. The secluded feel it provides what you would look in such a place.

The staff is great.

It has superb amenities for kids.

The criticism I would give is that the rooms need some maintenance and a revamping!

Kudos to the support staff but it sure needs some work.

Food was good but it lacks some serious variety for a place of this calibre.

Despite the other restaurants, it needs a little help there.

Bar works, the variety is something you would certainly welcome but again.. the amenities to support a clientele that would love to hang out on that beautiful beach is lacking.

Can't beat the location or hotel only problem is the food, meant to be a different theme every night but you have fried eggplant,curry,fish or pork loin thats for lunch aswell and that is the same every day, no seafood unless you want to pay extra. Staff are friendly no complaints there. Been to Cuba twice and you get loads of different sea food and they are poorest of the 2. Shame really as location is fab, not worth the money

The hotel is working from 8 am to 18 pm minimum 22 hours: the entire right is under the sound of jackhammers and grinders.

Overall, you can say, the hotel is just ok. Architecture and location are already outstanding. Great rooms, tasteful decor and 1A beach (really one of the nicest beaches I have ever seen). BUT: The service staff is 80% unwilling to make the guest happy. The manager spoke of a "leak of passion". Even after several complaints, it only got better for a short time. It just annoys when so many things could be better. Why should water bottles be distributed between 13:00 and 15:00? From 13:00 the boxes are thrown so noisily in front of the doors that peace (as the hotel management dictates) can not be spoken at all. The staff roars over several floors. There are so many other things annoying. Too bad. In the morning coffee often came after we had finished breakfast. Service at the beach bar worked only if a hotel manager or Jerome were there. There are so many little things that spoil your holiday.

Had a great experience there. Wouldnt hesitate going back again

Requested to have 2 rooms next to each other which was not the case. We had to wait 2 and a half hours to get the other room.
Dinner & lunch service: staffs have a preference for European guests only (we are Mauritians)!!!
Lunch: As it was my mum"s birthday, a cake was to be served but i had to mention 3 times which took 25 minutes to come though it was mentioned while doing the booking.
Food was not bad
Breakfast: we were WOWed...excellent service

Great food,nice staff .for coffee lovers:drink it at the main Bar. Keep your eyes open on silverware and coffee cups:not always clean.

cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed we were with this hotel. Booked a special offer to attract locals due to the economic crisis facing the hotelindustry. we chose a 4-star hotel with the possibilityof adding2 xtra bed for kids under 11, a double bed and a safe. We received our room at 1630 instead of 3pm. We were asked to be understanding as the hotel had plenty of arrivals that day. When we finally got our room, we realised there was no xtra bed. We only had 2 bathroom towels. We couldn't relax with 2 babies in the middle. We were told that the bed would be installed while we were having dinner. Our safe didn't work. We left the next morning without asking for a refund which I assume would have been refused even if the policy states otherwise if the hotel is notified in advance. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star.

Booked a day package including food, drinks and activity. However, we realised most of the drinks weren t included in the package which wasn t mention when we booked. Food was ok, nothing too special. The pool was overcrowded on the day so we decided to move on to other activities. We were offered only kayaking and paddling, so yeah not so good. We paid a quite a lot for what we actually enjoyed there. I don t think I will ever want to go there again, sorry.

Great hotel. 50 min. from the airport. We were received very warmly. Since there are also German-speaking employees on site there are also people who can not speak English or French very easily with questions or problems. The rooms are very large and spacious. The room was always clean. A safe is available and Wi-Fi is available in the whole area. The beach is the most beautiful on the whole of Mauritius we had a rental car for 8 days and visited almost every place. And nowhere is the sand so fine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a great holiday and I would come here again. Now a few pictures because they say more than words.

The hotel is clean, tidy and has a pleasant impression.

Hotel services at a very good level.
Room is cleaned daily with new towels and a minibar. Perhaps only glasses would deserve more care.

The main restaurant and the poolside restaurant offer great food choices ... everyone can choose. The hotel has not forgotten even the smallest ones and they will find their delicacies in the children's corner .

Every day in the evening, the main restaurant runs a decent level program.

The beach is wide and long. When entering the sea only in a width of 50 cm smaller pieces of crushed kings otherwise only fine sand. Water shoes are NOT a necessity .... none of the guests used them.

Not only me, but also other clients of the hotel did not understand why on February 25, 2020, about 25 people were probably let into the pool at the restaurant, probably a local youth, who took the whole pool for themselves with the help of several balls. It was hit after about 1 o'clock when the hotel's clients started leaving for their rooms .

Myself and 10 other family members stayed here over Christmas 2018. The location is incredible and the beach is amazing. The rooms are good. The food is average at best.



It s strange because they re are SO many staff members walking around... what do they do?! The hotel is extremely badly managed and they really need to focus more on training their staff properly so that their guests are happy.

If you want a holiday where you sit on the beach for 7 days and do nothing then this place is probably okay for you. However, if you like being more active, enjoy your food and want a stress free holiday then I wouldn t recommend this place at all.

Just got back home to South Africa from an awesome holiday at maritime Crystal beach Hotel, all I can say from the time we arrived on the 03 May 2015 to depart 10 May 2015, the service on this HOTEL was to the T excellent. We the Pillay couple our anniversary was on the 6th May 2015 and they planned a awesome breath taking surprised dinner for us, STAFF I mean all staff that worked this week even up to the cleaners, cooks, waiters, bar man, all I can say 100% BRILLANT service, PLEASE DO PRAISE YOUR STAFF PERSONALLY ON THIS IN YOUR MEETINGS, I WOULD recommend this 4 star hotel to any one. I just want to take this time to THANK all the staff that worked on that week, they just amazing humble people, the entertainment wow amazing, I will rate this HOTEL 10/10

Wanted to visit the hotel being kappa club customers we were refused entry to the hotel complex we were on project our next trip we are at solana damage

Place is very nice..wide variety of food during buffet..reception members very welcoming indeed..

But while we were busy having our teatime a waiter came to tell us that we should leave as our package end at 3.00 pm. But we had already extended the package till 6pm and even paid a supplement for tea time.

There was no communication between reception and hotel restaurant i think. But that really spoil my mood as we are not beggars who has come to enjoy free food..we pay for what we eat. And due to that negative point we do not want to come here again.

We will go somewhere else where we feel valued for what we pay for..

Nice place,but right now too much mauritius people,they are flighting to get food on buffet no discipline!! Also the beach of Maritime is not much good to swim,due to big wave,but overall all was good.
