This hotel is large and modern with free parking. It is home to the Dundalk RSA Driving Test Centre. It caters for weddings, conferences and the usual events an hotel of this rating would accommodate. It is clean and the staff are professional.
The forecourt is very busy and lacks charm however, the gardens to the rear are a hidden gem.

Went here for lunch today with a friend and when we sat down, we waited for quite awhile and eventually a waitress came over and set the table. We presumed that she would return with menus but she went to an empty table to sort out cutlery. I asked for menus and she then brought some.
Again, a significant period of time passed before our order was taken. I ordered quinoa salad but asked for goat or feta cheese instead of cheddar and this arrived as ordered, looked great but was kind of tasteless as I suspect that the dressing was missing. My friend was also not overly enamoured with her starter either but the mediocrity of our meals wouldn't have merited a mention if it wasn't for the side order of fries which had to be one of the worst I've tasted. They didn't come with our lunch as ordered and we eventually asked for them. We were nearly finished when they arrived. They were greasy and had a terrible aftertaste, basically inedible.
When my friend went to pay, the bill was totalled and she mentioned the fries and the reply was, "Ok, I'll take that off the bill". There was no apology, no question about what was wrong so as to ensure that it wouldnt happen again. It was as if this was no surprise. Very disappointing!

Fantastic modern hotel on the outscrits of dundalk. Staff friendly and helpful. Meeting rooms welcoming and comfortable. Bedrooms spacious and well equipped. Breakfast on the top floor gives spectacular views of dundalk and beyond.

Nice big room bathroom had bath and separate shower but sink plug would stick and we could not let the water out. Reasonable price too

Very pleasant stay. Very helpful staff, perfectly clean room with all facilities and a super comfy queen size bed. Good selection at breakfast including gluten free and a choice of soya milk. Perfect.

Stayed here for many years. Nearly always a good experience. And when it wasn't it was dealt with brilliantly. Can't recommend a better hotel in the area. Great managers.

To the manager I stayed at ur hotel on sat 15 June 2019 I was attending a wedding when me and my wife arrived at 4 o clock we were told our room was not ready and told to leave our bag there and it will be brought up to our room I explained to ur staff that that was not possible as I need to freshen up before we went to the reception of the wedding so after waiting a half an hour so we miss the wedding and walk in half way to dinner very embarrassing to say the lease after spending 140 euro a night I think is is unacceptable and I will never stay there again and we never recommend this hotel all our other guests had similar experiences for that price you and ur staff should be ashamed to call it a hotel good day yours Steve doolin..

At a function on Saturday night, staff friendly and attentive, food was excellent, they made great choice in putting their restaurant/breakfast room on the top floor of the very tall building. Fantastic views

I stayed here the night before my wedding in Darver Castle, which is 10 minutes away. This was the perfect place to get ready. The breakfast buffet was amazing upstairs. I was in a room with a sea view which beautiful to wake up to. The management left treats in the room for me and granted us the late check out that we needed to get ready. I was very impressed with everything here, much better than I was anticipating.

Had a fabulous meal here great service and friendly staff can't wait to eat there again

Great hotel very smart clean and just off the main motorway between Dublin and Belfast.

The resuraunt is only open Thursday, Friday and the weekend, so the rest of the week you either have room service or eat in the bar downstairs

The location for our assembly was good, but more because of the content of the programme than the hotel. Find the hotel food kind of just thrown together but the facilities are all nice and clean.

Stayed in this hotel for 16 days. It was great. There is a bar in ground floor and loved the roof top restaurant. View from the roof top restaurant in great. We use to have complementary breakfast everyday in the top restaurant. Guys in the Hotel reception is very helpful in very aspect. They will help in converting your currency also and will give all information required to travel near by. Very happy with the service.

Good hotel. The location is not that central. Breakfast gets very busy, with people having to wait. But good and service is good.

Attended the Tullyallen Karting awards night, great food, excellent service. Staff warm and friendly. We had our son with us and the only down side was mixer size bottles of minerals at 3 a pop

The Crown Plaza is a lovely hotel on the outskirts of Dundalk. Very spacious lobby and restaurant on the ground floor. Had a lovely dining experience here recently and enjoyed their enclosed garden also.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff and clean (spotless). Rooftop Restaurant (13th floor) has good food and a great atmosphere, also really wonderful to have a view of the town at night over dinner. We were staying in the junior suite, nice suite that also has a deep bathtub .Overall good value for money

I didn't stay only there for meeting but great food. Big meeting rooms and close to motorway. Looks perfect

Only visited the restaurant however, trays were very grubby on the carvery. The food was nice however.

One of the best hotels i have stayed in ,pints were under a fiver food very good and breakfast on the top floor looking over the bay lovely

It's a great hotel. We held my daughter's wedding last Dec.27, 2017. It was perfect. Staffs are so helpful. Rooms are nice with 2 queen size bed. Parking is free. I can highly recommend it.

Was here for a meeting in the conference centre. Very well laid out location. Service for food in the ground floor bar was very fast.

Lovely lobby, bedroom and general area. Breakfast was nice but there was a limited variety of food. Perfect for an overnight stay for a wedding in a local hotel.

Great hotel just outside town (10 minute drive). Clean and reasonable. Restaurants are great and the view from Fahrenheit are amazing. Mostly business types around but also caters for weddings and functions and throws a few great craft fairs during the year.

Stayed for on some of the first nights in Ireland. Its clean and convenient. The people at the reception very friendly and helpful too. The food place at the top has a nice view that you can enjoy while you have your breakfast.

Everything is spot on in this place. The young woman who checked us is yesterday was amazing and fun to interact with, and also shared in our good humor when we didn't know about the using the card for the lights thing. The room was nice and it was clean. The food and staff were excellent at the restaurant, and went out of their way to correct an issue with the wrong drinks on the bill. The gentleman at the desk went in the back to retrieve coffee for us at 5AM so we could go out prepared to interact with the world.

Excellent parking facilities and very clean and nice hotel with lots of events to attend

Very comfortable stay, staff welcoming. Reason for only 3 star I found though plenty of variety for breakfast the quality was very poor, fatty bacon, horrible tasting scrambled eggs and husband had to wait for fried egg the rest of his breakfast was cool. Having stayed in two different places during that week the breakfast was no good. Fire alarm which apparently was a fault but had to ring reception to see if it was real as it went of the on again. The alarm was very clear so think hotel would also have an announcement stating false alarm don't need to run downstairs in your nightwear!! Apparently happens on regular basis. But positive was very clean, bed very comfortable, bathroom clean and good cuppa facilities the room was lovely. I would stay again but go else where for breakfast.
