Very reasonably priced place to eat a hearty dinner near the centre of town. Nice atmosphere and good service. They were unfortunately out of the rabbit dish which I was longing to try but the scampi was pleasantly different, tasty and plentiful. Recommended!

We went around 11AM and they are serving nice Irish food. We didnt wait to much as they served it right away. Staffs are nice.

Ate fish and chips. Unlike a lot of places that claim it was catch of the day, It was. Very very nice, went back the following day to order the same But they had ran out. I'm not surprised given that quality. Wish I could get the same in GB.

The service was good. Generous food portions. Everything delicious.
Negative: Mojito was served without a straw which was a disappointmen, had to ask for it.

But great place for a night out with a company .

Would like to say thank you to the Windsor Bar and Restaurant! Food was absolute perfection, easy on the wallet and the staff was fun and delightful. The four of us unanimously agreed it was the best dinner experience of our wonderful trip to this beautiful country.

Good food and great service! I did see a table leave though, I guess they were expecting burgers and fries which isn't what this place is so, if that is what you're looking for I wouldn't go. Try the 3 course menu its definitely worth it!

Reasonable food at a reasonable price. There's nothing especially glamorous about The Windsor or it's menu, but it is a very reliable staple of family gatherings in Dundalk.

Don't go for lunch thinking you will get fed, never again, 5 prawns and fries from McDonald's.

Comfortable and with wonderful food and attention. In the heart of Dundalk, it must be a must when visiting the emerald island.

Dundalk's best traditional food restaurant.. Steaks are excellent and generously sized and the service is impeccable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful without being over-bearing and the food is fairly priced. Quality of drinks served is excellent too - the Guinness is perfect.

The food was okay. I would not get the chicken and mash again because it was not nice, the chicken was dry and the mash was okay, but I think they should give you a choice if you want champ because I personally don't like champ. The daiquiri was nice I would recommend you to get one. The brownie was lovely and I would get it again. The staff were friendly.

Beautiful carvery meals, portions size is much more than expected. very warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff polite and warming upon arrival. Definitely be back again real soon.

I had a nice dinner last night here in a nice and warm atmosphere. Food was delicious and service was fast. Younger and very professional staff. My absolute recommendation.

Really nice restaurant, decor etc. Food was nice however my fillet steak, which was a good size, was over cooked. I asked for med to well done but it was well done. There were plenty of waiters/waitresses about and service was quite quick however I was never asked if my food was ok as I was waiting for the opportunity to mention about the steak. The restaurant was busy and I would return again to give it another go.
