After we placed our order it took 45 min before we were served. While eating my green curry big long blond hair. Left the food and requested this to be taken of the bill. No apology no trying to improve the situation. Just ignorance. Never again.

Very rigid and set staff not suitable for any party group thinking of relaxing with drinks. Rooms nice, shower great, bed comfortable was a little put off with stained bed base which I only saw the next morning, breakfast adequate

A 5* venue. Spectacular hotel. The 13th floor restaurant is amazing, with views for days !! Had Dinner and Breakfast here, which was fantastic. The beds were uber comfortable, and there was a separate large shower and bath. If you want luxury accommodation, look no further. This place has it all !!

Went into the bar for food. Soup was cold. Double charged for wine in error and service again was atrocious. This is the case on 4 separate visits and will be the last. No sign of any improvements but staff were friendly.

Got transported here from the airport because my flight was cancelled due to Storm Emma. Each and every one of the staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional. The rooms are very nice and comfy. I truly enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Dundalk!

We stayed here one night prior to a wedding in Dundalk. In a Junior suite. The room was spacious with a big bathroom and a super king size bed. The room was looking a bit tired but it was still nice and they had some yummy hand made chocolates. Only downside was the food in the bar was rubbish. We had several meals that were very undercooked and there were no apologies from the bar staff when this was brought to their attention.

A real mixed bag. Mostly let down by staff , not facilities.
On the plus side....
Good free carpark, nice foyer, nice bar area, very nice food from the bar, spacious rooms with tub, and good selection on tv channels .
I would say it's up with the best available in its price range so I'd recommend it to anyone on those things.
On the minus side...
Had a really poor experience ( twice ) of staff and management attitude.

1) I'd ordered a drink, starter , and mains on my first visit...
The drink came after about 15 minutes...
30 minutes later and still no food, but others having arrived after me were getting there's.
I asked a staff member if she found check, and she told me I hadn't ordered anything...???
I pointed out the lady I had ordered from. They debated it privately. No apology. Approx 10 minutes later both my starter and my main course were served at the same time...the food quality was excellent, but by the time I'd eaten the hot soup starter, my mains were cold....

2) The breakfast in the morning, was of a lower quality of product than anywhere else I stayed. No chef available to prepare eggs, so just scrambled. Mushrooms were simply boiled. Bacon was thin, tasteless, and too long in the warmers...
Served tea, instead of coffee. By the time replacement was available, the breakfast was done.
Disappointing as Irish breakfasts are usually high quality.

3) on the 2 checkout, I had to wait almost 30 minutes; not because there was a large queue, as I was the next in line...but because it was 1 inexperienced staff member who couldn't get support.
She had accidently charged the first customer too much. She was trying to refund him, and rebill, but didn't have authority. She phoned the manager twice to help before they finally came... they quickly resolved the authority, but instead of trying to serve me, or anyone else, or even acknowledge I had been waiting, she simply left again, leaving me another 5 minutes before customer 1 was resolved.
Really disappointed when checkout should be a smooth , quick, and professional last experience. It resulted in me being late for my first meeting.

I've taken the time to provide this review, as I have found this hotel in the past to be the best available , by far, and all the issues were staff/ management issues, which should be easy fixes to regain 5 star status...

The Hotel itself was good. The room was very spacious and the bathroom to die for. Food was fine. The only fault was the location. Too far to walk to town and no bus service. Taxis all the way.

Nice sized rooms friendly staff.

Nice sized rooms friendly staff.
Breakfast was nice with good variety to choose from.
Wouldnt put luxury beside it as there was no spa pool or anything like that that you would associate with a luxury hotel.
Some peoples rooms were not ready when they were checking in which was a bit of a downside.
Mini bar was not stocked apart from an empty bottle from the previous occupant so not sure why you would have it there.
Overall good but definately not luxurous.

Was in Crowne Plaza for staff party, very friendly staff. Was served by warm and approachable staff member named Philip, who really made the experience exceptional with his great attitude and friendly demeanour!

Sunday cravery food was okay. Disorganised staff upon arrival given a table only for it to be given to another couple while queuing for carvery. Staff seemed disorganised. Barman wearing a visior but it was tilted back so not really much use. Wouldn't recommend staff disorganised slow at taking orders one lady had to ask for menu and order at the bar. Management need to reconsider on to how re structure and manage the service so it runs more smoothly and efficiently for customers.
