Lovely Carvery meal in restaurant then sitting relaxed reading the paper

Had a family party in the 13th floor restaurant in the Crowne Plaza at the weekend. The food and service was absolutely excellent. Management were so professional and helpful in organising the party. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely want to return there asap.

High class hotel. Great food. Clean rooms and high level. Good attitude of the staff. Highly recommended.

From start to finish my stay was beyond expectation. The staff at the front desk were so welcoming/ friendly and nothing was a problem for them. I stayed here for work as a Covid vaccinator and the Covid guidelines were excellently met. Everything well sanitised. The room was spotless. The bed unbelievably comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful with a lovely garden at the back. To me this is a hidden treasure in Dundalk. I hope to return when I can visit as a tourist. Food is of a very high standard

I stayed in the Crowne Plaza Dundalk in August 2020 with my family and bridal party the night before my wedding in the nearby Darver Castle. The staff were so nice to us and helpful with everything. We got ready for the wedding in the Crowne Plaza, with hairdresser, make up artist, photographer, videographer and florist arriving throughout the morning. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was a fabulous suite with a beautiful view so we had plenty of space to get ready and enjoy a nerve-settling glass of bubbles before the ceremony! The Crowne Plaza Dundalk is a lovely hotel with really nice staff. I would highly recommend it, thank you all very much!

Very slow service, but very nice table serving, kitchen must be slow.
I did work in the service industry. So I have to blame the guy in the office for not keeping the kitchen up to the mark.

Nice hotel. Quite expensive but not sure why. Not a lot of gluten free options.

We stayed here for a charity ball and was pleasantly surprised. The service from Brendan on reception was so welcoming. The standard rooms were adequate for the price we paid. Lovely and clean. Breakfast on the 13th floor had lovely views. On check out on the Sunday the bar was packed with people drinking and eating carvery, a very busy Sunday spot.
Nothing overly exceptional to say about the hotel but did all it was supposed to.
Left very happy and relaxed!

Need something in the hotel for children. Nothing at all. Ling days for kids.

Very comfy beds and nice spacious rooms. Breakfast was lovely in the rooftop restaurant. It was extremely busy when we went early for breakfast and we had to wait a while for food but it was worth the wait and was very tasty. All staff very polite.

A beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, and the staff were very helpful

Had casual lunch downstairs grill. Food is fine but service was very poor. Served a salad instead of open sandqich, Had to ask for milk when we order tea... some of many irritating basic mistakes. No evidence of trained staff or supervision.

Was delicious dinner, tasty kir royal, good service , piano and 13th floor view makes a GREAT atmosphere

Stayed here for work for a couple of weeks now!! The staff are amazing, so friendly make you feel so at home and welcome!! The reception are so flexible in organising taxis and wake up calls, and the staff in the bar/restaurant are sociable and friendly :-)! The gym is quite small but has basic equipment that suffices!!

Yeah ok. Staff was rude. Food was average. Would not recommend

I only visited the bar and the roof top restaurant. Both were excellent, but the Roof Top restaurant was exceptional! Some of the best food I have had anywhere. The selection of food available was excellent, and the service matched the quality of the food. I have no hesitation going back, or indeed recommending it.

The hotel is nice, but wait... the food and the price of it is disgraceful. The chef seems to think a caesar salad wrap is lettuce, chicken goujons and mayo in a wrap. What a lazy effort at cooking. And then they have the neck to charge 10 for it. The kids lunches are extortionate prices as well. The waitress that served us was nice, but the waitress we called before her was arrogant and replied to us while passing with the remark ill
Come back to you, its too busy and never came back. No likey- No lighty.

At party night to give a bit of feed back,as we were all working all day,and were there early,meal was too slow,starter of pulled pork i have yo say was awful,i love my food but im sorry,not nice i had salmon which was very nice,my friends had t/ham,which was very good,no toilet paper in toilets for ladies,i did enjoy the evening with my work mates.

few faukts wings were very salty. door wouldnt shut in room without a big bang too close it. the staff were great and very helpful.

Lovely hotel, staff we very welcoming and nothing seems to much trouble for them. Room was good and very comfortable bed. Free wifi Breakfast. was really good, great views and again service was very good. Cab from the station is about 7 Euro.

Excellent rooms and impeccable staff. The only negative was the wait for staff in the restaurant to bring menu's and take orders

Rooftop restaurant has beautiful food and pleasant service and the views out over dundalk bay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good but my only issue would be how cold it was upstairs. The soup wasn't piping hot but it was till tasty.

Was at a memorial service for a friend, the service from the hotel wasn't great. The microphone wasn't checked to see if it worked before hand, it wasn't secured properly and basically worked sporadically.
When a large crowd arrived and I went down to the reception to ask for more chairs, the cold reception I received was unbelievable, like it was my fault they all arrived.
As the service concluded, the organiser rang down to bring up the tea coffee and biscuits, after an unbelievable length of time we were all ushered to mezzanine suite where we were all served. Yes a better area for the refreshments, but what took them so long?
A beautiful serviced only marred by stupid things that could very easily have been fixed by some preparation before the event. 2/10

Good location as it's just a few minutes off the motorway. Free parking and some nice amenities make it a step above the rest. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were on par with what I expected at this price. Overall would recommend and will definitely go back if I'm in the area

Madras curry served in a bowl and VERY liquid, no spoon. Restaurant not open, only bar area. Few staff (mostly trainees) to cope with business groups wanting long tables, ditto families entertaining successful Leaving Cert students. Although it is close to where we live we won't bother returning to Crown Plaza this Sumner!

Carvery was full of flavour (which is rare!) And desserts were delicious and looked impressive. The whole atmosphere and decor made us feel very comfortable too.
