Very expensive for lonque offer. It does not have free WiFi! Only half an hour. The bathroom is mediocre. good breakfast and the staff quite good. The view of the room they gave me was horrible

Good hotel, excellent service from friendly staff, nice spacious rooms (bit dated though) with large new TV.
One minus point is that the Wi-Fi is so incredibly slow that it is next to useless. Could just as well be no Wi-Fi at all.

Y all these beds are worth their wait in gold. Trust me. The lobby is ok, there is a hopping bar scene unlike most places in NZ and AUS. The club lounge is also really well attended. Def a must for Auckland. The should update the halls and rooms.

Fantastic venue for a school ball event. Food was delicious and the ball room was elegantly presented. The lobby area could use some improvements, in particular the part where it connects to the Atrium on Elliot.

Was made very welcome upon my arrival. My room was clean and refreshing with a good view. Comfortable bed and spacious. A little cramp in the bathroom though whilst in the shower, or using the convenience! Otherwise, a good selection of amenities all round. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel. Very good located, with a breakfast more than outstanding and with rooms meals and clean. But ... everything has a but. The bathrooms have a shower curtain instead of a screen, which is unthinkable and unhygienic. It is not warned that the movies on TV have an additional cost when checking out. And they automatically charge in the card that one informs for the guarantee, the expenses of stay without asking if one wants to pay in cash. It has no pool, but a gym and sauna. They are things to improve

My preferred hotel in Auckland. Whilst the bathrooms are looking a bit date, the rooms facilities, hotel gym and service are excellent. The hotel is perfectly located in the CBD, walking distance to all of the major attractions

Stayed here for 3 nights and was very pleased to start our new Zealand trip here. We arrived at 8 am and they were able to get us into a room right away, a huge bonus for our jet lagged family with 3 kids. We loved being so central to everything and walked to the sky center, sky tower, maritime museum, art museum and more with ease. It was a block away from the skybus drop-off, which helped as well.

With around 85 hotel nights per year, I don t often get my choice of hotel wrong, but when I do, it annoys me badly.

I ve decided out of brand loyalty to stay 10 nights at the Crowne Plaza Auckland, an IHG Hotel, without doing a basic research first. IHG hasn t really let me down in many years of traveling around the globe.....well, at some point it had to happen, Feb 2020 was that point.

The hotel is quite dated and seems to focus its business model on holiday or bus travel groups and not on business travelers or holidaying individuals.

My hotel room was clean. The age and the at most average maintenance of the hotel s public spaces, elevators, windows and frames and for me more concerningly that of my room and bath have been clearly visible. Noises from other rooms (room doors, voices, closets closing/ clapping ....) were disruptive. Only aspect that was clearly in line with IHG s superior standard: bed and bedding.

Bus travel groups seem to foster certain poor service behaviors in hotel staff, probably because the captive nature of this kind of customers - they will not create a return business anyway, so why bother. Staff clearly showed that lackadaisical attitude in the Aria restaurant during breakfast times, more senior staff like the gate keeper/ restaurant manager was even trying to boss me around during seating early morning. That kind of service may still be OK for a school cantina, but not when asking NZ$ 600.- + per night.

I had two interactions with the hotel front desk during my stay: can t say that the two people have pretended to care. Fortunately for the General Manager of this place, some of the hotel staff still understands that hospitality thing: I d like to thank the Bar, Club Lounge and Housekeeping guys, I ve enjoyed speaking to you.

WiFi and laundry working as per expectation, although laundry was more on the aggressive side for business shirts.

The reason for staying the full time at 5he Crowne Plaza and not switching hotels after a the first nights: two of my employees stayed a total of 11 nights in parallel at the hotel, too much hassle and sunk costs.

BTW: beware of the racing bellboys and their carts, I nearly got knocked over twice in the lift, when the young guys tried to get in with their cart and the elevator doors were already closing

We were put into Crowne Plaza for 14days Isolation after returning home from GC. We would like to really thank all the staff- They were friendly, helpful and so efficient. Also, with the quality meals given to us as part of the isolation set up, we're very grateful. Thank you

We had high tea for my cousin's birthday - I had only made the reservation earlier that morning, and they were really friendly in booking us in for that afternoon.

The food and service was really great! It turned a really bad previous 48 hours upside down. Will definitely be back again.

Nice place. Didn't stay there, went to a seminar there. They have a public car park and if you spend $10 or more at any shop in the atrium on Elliott you get a discount on your parking which just so happens to be $10. Like any paid car park the longer your parked the more it's going to cost, all day parking is $34. They have a food hall. Try the Thai. We also had lunch in the restaurant which was like a buffet and quite nice. There's other shops as well, hairdresser, a cool knick knack shop. We also got tea, coffee, iced water, savories and cakes for morning and afternoon tea which would have been paid by the organizers of the seminar. I imagine the rooms would be flash because the rest of it is quite classy.

I loved the stays I've had at the Crowne. The staff are always professional and friendly, the rooms are tidy, clean, and have everything you need to be comfortable, and the food is great! 5/5, would most definitely stay again.
