The food is not worth the price of course, but that is usually not a major concern when I'm doing a out of town dinner with family... My issues were that when the waiter listed the specials, one was "Rib Rack with two sides", Not, Rib Rack with potato salad and slaw, as he should have said... So, I got extra sides... Expensive extra sides... Then, they lost my order, So, I got to watch everyone eat while I waited hopefully, for them to cook up mine? since I was not given an explanation before they disappeared.. Finally got my meal, and asked them to box it up, since everyone else was about done.....! They boxed my two "extra sides".. I finally got them to get me a box for me to box my own meal (which later split on the bottom and lost my food.) while I waited for the togo box I ate a bit of the ribs, but apparently you don't get wipes or extra napkins or such.... And insult to injury they double billed my appetizer.... It takes a bit to upset me... So well done...

On the other hand, the saloon was nice... And much better staff. The two stars are from them...

The place is nice. I like the theme, and really like the building. However the food was not that great it was bland. My girl friend got the pork chop and we had to get A-1 sauce. Also her Brussels Sprouts were a bit burnt.
I was a bit disappointed with the Prime Rib, which for the price, I expect more flavor out of it.
Sitting was not bad at all, we were sat down pretty quickly that was a plus.
Over all I can only give it a 3 star from my experience.

The service and food was great. We loved our entrees. The only thing that was a little let down were a couple of our side dishes. The mushrooms and asparagus were both overcooked, but with the amazing steaks, it didn't really phase us. I'll go back next time I visit!

Food was ok but they messed up our order. Gave us champagne to move to the bar area so they could seat another table. We enjoyed the music but our Barmaid was rude to our group and when we asked to speak to the manager she completely stopped caring about our table. We spent over $1000 in the restaurant and bar and she was down right rude and there wasn t any logical reason to stop serving our table.

We were told one couple in our group needed to hurry up and order because this was an income producing table and we needed to hurry. The other two couples had just ordered appetizers and 4 alcoholic cocktails. We left after waiting over and hour-l for this table- we d already spent $60 on drinks in the bar. I can be treated badly elsewhere for a lot less money.

My husband and I are new residents of the state of Texas. We have been exploring different cities lately and were told one of the places we had to visit was Fredericksburg. We decided to go and spend our 24th anniversary weekend in October of 2019 there and came across this restaurant on one of our strolls down Main St. We went in for dinner and enjoyed 2 AMAZING entrees (steak and bass). I'd never had Bass before and tried it here for the first time and let me just say I have tried others since and none stack up! My husband laughs because every place we go to now I bring up this delicious meal. :-) His steak was very tasty as well! The ambiance was great as well as the service. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening back in October and I can not wait to come back and try something else new and delicious.

The management team and customer service was very disappointing. We were told this was the choice restaurant for a high quality dining experience and left completely disgusted! The gentleman manager was extremely insulting and rude. We definitely will never support this establishment again.

Great atmosphere. The 12 oz Sirloin was cooked perfectly with great flavor. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice saloon, separate from restaurant area with live music. Can t wait to come back here again!

Had one of the best Ribeyes I have had in a long time the new dessert was amazing. My server was Oktay, who was absolutely amazing, professional and always on top of his game. I tried to get the best server in the house who is Jules but she was unavailable. Overall dining experience five stars!

The food and service were great. The food came out fast and was seasoned well. I'm vegetarian so I ordered sides and did not have an issue. Our sever Manuel and the manager Deanna were welcoming and accommodating. We left right before the band came on, but heard them warming up. I'd return!

The short version: $50+ for what should be a $15 steak.

This was our second visit to crossroads after our last time in town a few years ago. While the restaurant still maintains a pleasant atmosphere and some good dishes, the steaks have gone cheap. I order the Ribeye, which at $50 I expected to be quality meat cooked using proper techniques. The menu claims that the steaks are Prime quality. While we all know that not all Prime steaks are created equal, this is definitely not what i expected. First of all, I ordered medium-rare and the steak was seared on both sides but almost completely uncooked from about 1/4in in. Additionally, the steak appeared to have been mechanically tenderized. It felt like it had been chewed already and lacked the juiciness of a good cut of meat.

To sum it it it wasn t a -bad- steak, but definitely not worth the price tag.

Great foods that are flavorful. The place is beautiful or romantic depending on were they sit you. Great place for friends and family. Price point is higher but not crazy. If you got the extra money to spend then this is the place to treat yourself.

Wandered in, waited for a table but had great service at the bar. Great service and steak, all but two bites were perfect med rare as ordered. Band kicked off and the dancing started. Reed, on the door is an amazing people person and is doing a great service to the establishment. Owner on premises making sure everything is perfect.

I m here for business, I ve never been to Fredericksburg and was told I had to check out Crossroads Saloon. We went on a Wednesday, which turned out to be steak night and live music starting at 7pm. Definitely check this place out when your in town.

Great service by restaurant waitstaff! One issue was being accosted by an employee in the salon about our nieces needing to leave the premises by 9 pm because they were under 21. Considering we had a reservation for dinner this was a bit off pudding. We enjoyed our experience nonetheless.

Service was pretty good given the fact that they had 3 waiters for the whike floor on a Thursday night. The food was what you can expect for a $20 steak. Live music was pretty entertaining.

The food here was amazing. Spent New Years Eve here and had a great time! Definitely going to put down a few extra bucks for food but it is WELL worth it! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The worst dining experience we've had in years. the website states they'll hold the reservation for 15 minutes, but they released it at 10 minutes after (about when we walked in the door) and the bar was so loud people were yelling over each other the entire time. Service wasn't terrible for a Chili's, but for a place that's got $45 steaks I'd expect some actual training (busing the tables, asking how the food was, refilling drinks). Our waitress herself was very nice, and very over-worked (multiple small tops and a 12 top).
Both of our steaks were awful cuts and poorly cooked. I got gristle all through mine and my husband's NY strip was extremely fatty and run through with gristle. No seasoning whatsoever. I'd have happily payed $25 for that steak, but $45 and i didn't even eat half of it or the sides (potatoes were extremely gritty). The steak butter was prepared like crab butter and thus completely useless unless i wanted my steak to be 90% butter, and they went past the carmelization that makes steak good and straight into burnt. The whole atmosphere was extremely confused- either be a dive bar, a restaurant, or a nice restaurant. Trying to accomplish all three falls short in every way. Will not be returning, and will warn off anyone else in the area.

My husband's baked potato also came with a full piece of bacon just resting on top, and made it very confusing to eat as they don't also bring by a cutting board and knife.

Went in for our anniversary on weekend and got seated right away. We ordered prime rib and New York strip. Cooked to perfection. Smoked mac n cheese was to die for. Great ambiance and wait staff. Will be back.

Great atmosphere, Clean and the alcohol selection is on point. Menu is a bit limited but if your kid free and wanting good service and anything quality then "This is your kind of place. Drop in if you need a break from the wine, they'll set you up. That did for me.

Went here for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend while visiting Fredericksburg. Upon recommendation from mutliple people, this was the BEST steak. Well, they were NOT lying. My filet was amazing. I highly recommend the filet!

We were in Fredericksburg celebrating an anniversary and had no reservation, but the hostess told us to come on and she worked us in within 30 minutes. We waited in the Saloon and drinks were good and affordable. Upon being seated, Miguel was excellent and Kevin, the manager, brought me a pair of readers to better see the menu. Wow! I guess I was really squinting. The calamari was superb as an appetizer. I had the Ribeye w/ asparagus and the Mac n cheese. My wife had the filet and Brussel sprouts. The meal was surprisingly affordable and the service and ambiance is five star. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

My husband and I went here for 25th anniversary. It was a Saturday night and there was an hour wait which we waited in the bar. The bartenders made me up an original amazing girly drink. Dinner was so worth the wait. I had the bacon wrapped jalapeno stuffed with brisket totally awesome. And we had quail that was grilled on top of asparagus which was on top of cheesy grits with a few pomegranate sprinkled around And advocato cream lime sauce. This was the most amazing food I think I have ever had. It was that good. And then after we ate dinner we went and enjoyed the live music and dancing in the bar.

We ate at the resturant and food was good. I ha the mahi mahi and was cooked very good and great butter sauce with it. I wish they had a bone in ribeye as that is my steak of choice but we the connecting bar with live band was the highlight of the night. It was fun and band was excellent and enjoyed the people watching. We will be back to eat and hangout after.

We didn't eat at the steakhouse because it was expensive so this is a review of the bar. And WOW it was awesome! We had my Bachelorette party there and so did a lot of other people that night. But the drinks were good and the music was amazing! They had a band playing oldies there and there was people of all ages dancing. Everyone was super nice! Great place to dance and have some fun!

A very nice spot for a casual night out. Food was good as well as service, but wasn't extraordinary. Very charming setting and pricing is competitive. Live music is a plus, but there is a cover on some nights. Glad we checked it out, a Fredericksburg institution.

Great place. Warm and welcoming for a Saloon and Steakhouse. My wife and I enjoyed drinks and danced as we listened to the CapCity Band out of Austin. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a great night out.
