Crimson Resort & Spa Review

We appreciated the man at entrance his name was JR, he was very kind and when we come back from out side,his smile gives us be relax like to be back home. Thanks.

There are a lot of activities to enjoy, and are a lot of activites for kids.

Really nice hotel. Great rooms. Very friendly staff. Great amenities. Only down side is it is a little hard to find, even for the taxi drivers.

The place is really well maintained. Towels and linen are nice. Amenities include multiple bars and restaurants, a great kids play area, pools, gym. It is a large complex, so there is some walking around. It has its own beach for guests, and the pools look out onto that beach.

The spa is world-class. Very nice staff, nice changing room, sauna, resting room, as well as uncramped treatment rooms. They have couples rooms also. The facials are not your typical western ones with a bright light in your face with extractions, but more soothing with scrubs and lotions. The body scrub followed by the 15 min bath sounds boring, but is amazing. The tub is outside the treatment room in a very serene alcove exposed to the sky. Very nice experience.

I highly recommend this hotel as well as the spa.

As you walk through the resort and visit the beach, the villas; the landscaping is top-notch. Unique furniture is also scattered across the entire resort. One area of improvement would have to be the quality of food and beverage. Buffet spread is huge but not as lively as other resorts.

The place is very suitable for family especially with kids. What I can suggest is to provide more and bigger trash bins. There should be a designated place in the room to place the used utensils coming from room service food orders. Local tourist should have different rates than foreign tourist. Thank you.

Fun filled with many activities to join. From beach we enjoy the snorkeling with fish feeding. We joined also the aqua aerobics, it was fun though. Our room is very clean. We will recommend crimson to my friends.

Although the jade is small, there are plenty of fish to snorkel, and sunbeds and towels are available free of charge. The rooms are clean and the restaurant and snack bar food is also delicious. It's a bit expensive, but you have to be satisfied once or twice.

Room was not ready. Multiple calls to the front desk no one knew what they were doing. General lack of proper management of the property.

Satisfied with families with children. The slides are not the children liked the pool with kids zone and cream. The Crimson Burger was also liked by the children.

The resort is beautiful and the staff is extremely accommodating. At first our reservation was lost and that was an entire debacle, which was extremely aggravating. We were told we'd have no hot water, which was a surprise, but the running water was warm enough to be fine. However, our biggest complaint was how loud our aircon was. We legitimately thought there was a storm outside. We tried to fix the problem, but nothing happened. The power was frequently going out, too, which would reset everything - including the internet and aircon. I'd definitely go back to Crimson, but it wasn't the best experience.

Peaceful place we like it. We are here to relax, crimson did not dissapoint us.

It is a spacious and secluded resort.
The houses are connected and the cozy feel.
The pool is divided into a main pool and a kids pool, so it is good for adults who cannot swim.
I recommend it.

Amazing resort. Staff are so nice. They had a huge play area called crimzone. Kudos to the staff of the play area who make my kids happy when we stay here.

When I had some problems on the firsts day, a senior manager, Aida was very helpful. Thanks to her, we had great time at Crimson.
In addition, there are lots of fish on private beach. I cannot remember exact name of one of life guards. Joel? Joey? He was also kind. Happy to stay there.

We highly recommend Crimson resort and we will definitely be coming back on our next holidays to the Philippines. My husband and I stayed 3 nights in one of their pool villas and the exclusivity and privacy was what exactly we need! The resort was great but what's even greater were the staffs. I can't thank enough DJ and his staffs for their excellent service and hospitality nothing was too big or too small for them, all of the staffs are very friendly and still very professional. The resort does offer alot of different activities everyday for both kids and adults. But if you're like us who just wants convenience and privacy and laze/relax around under the sun this is the place! oh- and i'd live in their spa if i could!

The view, the room, the staff is not bad.
However, there are many stones on the beach, so you must prepare aqua shoes or flippers.
Snorkels and life jackets can be rented, but there are no flippers or aqua shoes.

We had a wonderful experience at Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was a much needed respite after months of being on lockdown. All the staff were courteous and accommodating. Every time we meet any of their staff, they'd do their signature greeting with hands on their chest. They also accommodated all our requests. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Crimson!

Great experience at Crimson over the holidays. Relative to the price you pay for a top resort in Cebu ($250-350), I would rank this highly over nearby Shangri-La mainly for its unique room layout concept (individual bungalow-style). Food and service is good, but may need some improvements on resort activities.

We didn't stay there but went to check out wedding venue, banquet hall sales right away met us, took to diff Hall's open areas, gave us sales pitch let us peeked in current wedding, showed us beach fronts photos, followed up via emails , koce Villa type settings
Helped us to get cab, no crazy terrorist type security checking ( shangrilla) learn something, not overly crowded, but still 100:/: occupied
Banquet hall was amazing large with very high ceilings
Will recommend for someone to stay

Here is part of the letter I sent to the Resort Manager, Didier Belmonte and the Executive Assistant Manager, Christoph Kuch. THEY DID NOT EVEN REPLY.

"This email is to reiterate our disappointment in your resort and the way you dealt with us throughout the whole wedding planning process, arrival process, wedding day, and checking out process. We want to make sure you understand that you ruined our wedding and our honeymoon. The most important times of our lives. We can only imagine what you would do if you had to go through what we did. So for now on and for the rest of our lives, whenever we think back to our wedding and our honeymoon, all we can think about is how your resort ruined it all.

We chose your resort out of many that we visited because of your star rating and the obviously the scenery. We thought we could trust that we would receive 5-star resort service especially since we were injecting thousands of dollars into your resort not just from our wedding but also from the 60 plus guests that flew in from all over the world and would be spending their money there as well. We absolutely did not receive the service we deserved from you. You also stole money from us without any proof... special guests of your 5-star resort that had injected thousands of dollars in your business.

Again, you have ruined our wedding day and our honeymoon. Something we will never forget for the rest of our lives. Imagine if this was you. You really should do something to correct the way your resort handles issues with its guests, for the sake of your business and any of your future guests that may have an event there."

If you read the whole thing, thank you for spending your time. DO NOT let this horrible resort do anything like this to you. There are many other resorts that deserve your money.

Summer is worthwhile at Crimson, super friendly staff and great amenities. The lifeguard is very accomodating to assist us with snorkelling. It was a great summer experience. It is just far from major malls though.

Absolutely great for kids. We have been to many places with kids play areas, but this one is second to none. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. Great service. The beach is small but not really busy, which once again was great for kids. The only thing that wasn't excellent was the food. It wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, just nothing to write home about.

It was totally a great experienced. My family enjoyed our stay. From staffs to facilities, it was all amazing. Clean pool's. We enjoyed snorkeling in the beach while feeding the fish. Thank you Crimson. We'll definitely be back.

The caliber of service and overall experience is ordinary. You can experience it in other 3 or 4 star hotels. I had way better experience with Astoria, Shang-rila and Henann.

Stopped here over night on the way to Seattle. The hotel smells fresh and clean. The room was spotless and fresh also. We are very pleased with our hotel choice and look forward to a nice night. We would stay here again if in the area.

I asked a restaurant to cut the mango I bought, but I just cut it into slices instead of honeycomb like other hotels.
Waiting while cutting, the other place was freshly picked up into the room...
Breakfast is worst
Room condition is good, but it is natural because the price is like this...
TV mirrors well with Samsung TV, irons and ironing boards. Hair dryer is not good.
The bathroom is big, but cleaning the bathtub isn t good.
Also, please note that people who hate sticking as if all pizzas in restaurants such as bars are used instead of breakfast places.

World class atmosphere and lives up to it's rating as 5-star resort. All within driving distance to Cebuanos.

View was nice. Beach was not as expected as the ground is with rock instead of sands

It's bitter. Every time in other hotels, I get a membership benefit and pay

The front desk and the concierge's service are super friendly. The most important thing is to have strict security. When you get off the bus, you will be able to help you see if there are any remaining items in the car. The service is very careful.

We stayed here at the end of our trip during weekend. It was one of the most comfortable and least expensive in our journey. It slept our family of four comfortably and the staff was extremely friendly! Would definitely stay again if we came back this way.

Its my first time here in Crimson, we stayed for 3 nights with my family, I really liked it here coz it just felt like home tho your travelling. I enjoyed the activities that were made for adults and kids .This hotel didn't just let us experienced the luxury but also the fun and excitement everytime we do the activities and I can really see it with my own two eyes that my kids are enjoying it thanks for the Cimzone staffs that were very active in conducting the activities I salute you on how you handle the kids well. Also to the fitness instructors, I really love the aqua aerobics . The food was great the staffs were all great and kind we will surely go back here. Thanks for the great and wonderful experience crimson.

The Infinity Pool was one of the highlights to stay in Crimson. But I suggest more staff s can accommodate all the needs of the customers during peak hours. More Power Crimson Resort!
