From arriving to leaving the experience was wonderful. Even with Covid we felt safe and comfortable in the way you had everything set up. We came for a Special Occasion and were given a Superior Room with wonderful views onto the hills. As my wife had mobility problems, to see the views we could imagine when we could walk the parks and woodlands. Thank you Crieff Hydro
Very comfortable setting and great activities to keep children entertained.
We got an amazing deal for Netherlee Lodge and the stay was excellent. Heavy snow added to the scenery. The lodge is absolutely amazing, ideal for large groups and family parties. The check out is 10am which meant everything had to packed More
They cater well for families. Despite the numbers (half term) they cope very well. Our room was very good and the kids loved the activities.
Dated, overpriced and not a lot to do. Lack of Reception staff means it takes a long time to check guests in.
Only stopped by for a drink. Excellent scenery and drinks were fantastic. Had a gent playing guitar while enjoying our drinks.
was disappointed with the room but room was changed after complaining every thing else was great service was excellant.
Rooms and amenities very good. Pay the extra for the spa section.
i went here with my support worker back in the summer of this year and it was a great stay over all only thing was when we went there was no air conditioning inside the main building and the chairs in some of the restaurants didn't have very good back support. also i don't really agree with the communal changing facility's at the swimming pool but luckily there was some small changing cubicles. it would be much better if there was a changing village like what normal leisure centers have. finally the apartment me and my support worker stayed in didn't have any air conditioning either and the bed i slept in was uncomfortable. i remember i had to open the window fully to try and get some air into the bedroom unfortunately the window started banging of the side so i just had to man up and sleep in a pool of my own sweat which made it very hard to sleep. and i remember when using the toilet i could here some people walking through the back undergrowth of the apartment blocks with there kids since the floor that the bathroom was on was almost ground level and the back green could be seen from the bathroom window which was right next to the toilet bowl much to my embarrassment. the apartments could really have been doing with one of those retro style fans hanging from the ceiling but regardless it was a great summer i had.
Excellent few nights, restaurants were good and child friendly. So much to keep kids amused
Victorian style, modern design, lovely hotel, friendly staff and a very relaxing Victorian baths
Lovely place, relaxing and great services with lots of things to do. Highly recommend
Great service, lovely food, lots to do. Especially loved the victorian spa this morning. Bedroom was big, clean and had nice decor. Breakfast was tasty with lots on offer.
Most amazing experience with the most lovely staff would highly recommend
Currently writing this while still on holiday! We can't write highly enough about Crieff Hydro. The facilities are fantastic.
We are staying in a 'cosy cabin' and it is what it says! Spotlessly clean, the cutest little cabin and fully kitted out, including all the bits and pieces required for our 10 month old, when we walked in there was the 'wow' factor!
If I'm being really picky, the floor in the bathroom is cold, but that's really looking for something to fault!
Leisure facilities, again great. Family changing is spacious and clean, well equipped with a varied heated shower (again useful for little one so it's not a burning shower!)
'baby pool' is warm and clean, which is great! Big pool is again a good temperature and whole pool area is clean.
Bars and restaurants are again welcoming of a little one and well equipped with highchairs (clean). We have only had a cake and / or drink at the bars and restaurants so can't comment on the food, but the cakes are nice! Good selection of different beers and drinks too!
Kids area, or little one is too young for the childcare side of things (but I'm pretty sure we'll use it in the future! 2hrs free!) However we went into the soft play area which was ideal for him to clamber about on, few other young kids in the too which was great. Older kids game zone looked good too.
Activities around the estate are thick and fast as well, unfortunately the weather was cruel to us and we didn't bring appropriate gear for going a long walk but was still nice to wonder around the various paths and areas. Again plenty of things to do as he grows up (As a big kid dad myself... I'll probably join in too)
Overall we're chuffed with our little get away and will return in the future for sure, as little one grows there will be more and more for him to do!
Fabulous holiday last year, so much so we're going back this !
The hotel is a mixture of things decorated well and things that need updated like the chair arms in the bar area. It is also quite noisy most of the time.
It does however offer a variety of activities on site.
The food could be improved but is edible enough.
Always love this place nice food. Bring carrots for the horses and the bunnies.
Nice location, friendly staff, nice facilities, plenty to do if outdoors or like to stay indoors.
I was very disappointed with my stay me and my daughter was made to feel uncomfortable food was terrible don't come here if you are black or a minority !!!
Excellent hotel great for adults and kids looked after too would recommend
Amazing place to stay for a few days, very relaxing time.
Service was perfect and helpful throughout. Respectful service too
I was attending a meeting. This took place in a very nice room with tea and coffee provided.
Wow what a hotel. Absolutely wonderful beautiful building and grounds offering a variety of activities. Even has its own cinema. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed however was super hard. Offer full english/Scottish or continental breakfast.
Fantastic place to have a weekend away with the girls. Beautiful chalet in a beautiful location
We attended the MND ball last night. The food and service from the hotel staff was excellent. As was the event itself. We stayed overnight and were really impressed by the facilities. The room was lovely and breakfast was superb.
I stayed here over new year and had a fantastic time. The restaurant is also a good place to visit for lunch.
Not one complaint. Great room, great facilities, great food, great price :)
Xmas night was great, great band, great staff, great accomodation, food very so so but what do expect an the great price. I will be back
Very grand hotel in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable rooms, lovely friendly staff, plenty to do inside and out (can highly recommend hot & cold stone back massage and booking Victorian Spa) with a good choice of restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed my two day break!
Had a meal in brassrie , table of 8 people. Food was excellent service the same
Would highly recommend.
Rooms are mediocre at best. Staying on the 2nd floor the floor is so un-level that we rolled off the bed. The king bed is actually 2 twins with a divot in the middle. Very uncomfortable mattress and pillows.
Rest of the facility is okay, but not as advertised on their site.
Great Christmas party night... Much fun and a friendly crowd
Nice rooms buffet breakfast lot's of young children
Self catering. Lovely apartment. Friendly staff. Kids club excellent. Pool really nice. Lots of activities. Lovely location. Not cheap but still good value. Will be staying again for longer.
Nice room, good breakfast. Brasserie evening meal poor but formal dining was excellent. Good location (walk up the Knock) and the pools are good.
Good hotel staff very friendly but littie price high
Family surprised me for 60th birthday in September.Wonderful time enjoyed every minute. So much that we are taking 6yr old grandson back for the
weekend. No faults. Staff polite and proffesional food superb.
Amazing hotel with great facilities and a tasty breakfast. Staff are very helpful.
Went to have lunch at the hub. Entered in the wrong side and would've been lost if a helpful staff member hadn't personally escorted us to where we needed to be. Great food and service
Went to the victorian spa for a two hour visit and it was fantastic. Decor was perfect and lovely snacks were provided. Will go back again.
Good food well organised clean and comfortable rooms
Ate at the Brasserie. Food was OK, not great, and a little overpriced. Staff were very nice, but made a couple of errors with our order. The place was very nice, ambience-wise.
A fantastic resort experience to cap off our visit to Scotland. Attentive staff, endless amenities and just enough of a historical feel made it a great place to stay.
Fantastic facilities and party night. Will be back again next year for Xmas party night
Nice, big hotel, friendly staff. Available pool, spa, free wi-fi, games room (basketball, mini football, etc.).
Parking on the weekend restricted. Closed the car parks for an event that wasn't utilising the space. Very frustrating!!!
Excellent place. Stick some patio heaters out for the smokers and beef up the 24/7 room service.
That's all I can say that lacks here!!!
Lovely hotel, doing it's very best during the hard times of covid. If staying during this time ensure u make sure you plan your dinners ,swimming and activities before u arrive to avoid disappointment. Also remember drinks inside can't be ordered after 1945
We were a little disappointed in the Brasserie service. 2 night stay and 2 not so good experiences.
1st night I was barely finished my starter and my plate was whipped away and main course in front of me.
2nd night we waited almost 30 mins between starter and main. When it did arrive it was cold. We did complain and were told "it is busy" sorry but isn't it always?
Oh and only hot chocolate in your room for 1 night? Hmmmm.......
I do appreciate this is a family hotel and expected lots of kids but screaming and racing around the corridors in the late evening I didn't expect!
Very professional and efficient staff nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Room was brilliant. Child friendly hotel has trampolines. Would recommend to anyone even have rooms which you can take your dog.
Perfect romantic break, just pop in to the adults only spa if you need a break from the families. Food and drinks are great as is the service.
Family-friendly large rural hotel with a wide range of parent and child facilities. Very popular!
Very expensive weekend for a bed and shower. Coffee in the room is undrinkable, food in the Brassiere was overpriced and not freshly prepared. Breakfast was cold and not very tasty and the bacon was terrible. Just not a brilliant experience as you would expect from what you pay.
I'm originally from that area so maybe a little biast, but honestly, over the years I have seen the Hydro grow into something quite special. The perfect place to pop into for a quality meal or a coffee in very pleasant surroundings and it's not expensive. Neither are the facilities like the Victorian spa if you so fancy. Of course it is hotel and holiday resort and perfectly placed for beggining your holiday adventures in Scotland. Highly recommended and great food from Executive Chef and 3 time Scottish Chef of the year Bruce Price
Stayed in the executive Studio for xmas party night. Party night was great. Food was ok. The rooms were amazing.
Hotel in a beautiful setting, excellent in the warmer weather as a lot of the activities are outdoors. Disappointingly most activities have to be paid for on top of your room and board rate, if staying more than a night or two this would More
My girlfriend and I took a long weekend trip to the Crieff Hydro for a little break away / fun.
The hotel was fantastic, the food was good and the activities were great. The only flaw was a problem with the electronics in the bedroom that couldn't be fixed (which wasn't a big deal, it was the attitude of the guy sent to fix it we weren't a fan of). The hotel gifted us use of their luxury spa / pool in compensation. We'll be going back in a couple of months.
The room was enormous, you could have held a party in the bathroom it was so big. Being an old building I thought it would be cold but I had to get up in the night and open a window.
Book a table at one of the restaurants as soon as you can, we left it too late and thought we had lost out because we had the freedom dining but we were able to use it for some delicious takeaway pizza from Piccolo's which was very reasonably priced.
We only stayed one night so we didn't get a chance to try the activities but there were lots available and we passed many folk enjoying themselves quad biking and horse riding. We did get a chance to try the victorian and it should really be on everyone's bucket list to give that a try.
I couldn't believe how many people were staying when it was in winter and right after Christmas and New year, it's obviously very popular. All the staff we met were very friendly and happy to help us, it was our first stay and we were asking lots of silly questions but it never felt like a bother to them.
Lovely hotel, been a couple of times just for a coffee & cake while staying in the area. Service has always been excellent, nice surroundings but also still child friendly. Will definitely be back
It was amazing and the staff were lovely. My brother was very ill so we were given an extra hour in our lodge thank you to all staff for being so lovely we hope to see you all next year !
Lovely stay at the hydro room was very comfy and clean. Would be good if they had somewhere to change for weddings etc since check in is quite late. They said we could change in the leisure centre, but wet floors etc wasn't really suitable.
I'm Doing Private chef and Private Dinners Across Scotland and I've served Families at the Lodges several times . The service they Provide to their Clients is very good and I always found people very happy with their Booking here . The view and the surround is very nice for any kind of age .
Lodges very well kept . Excellent in my opinion .

Had our wedding at the crieff hydro hotel absolutely amazing all the staff are excellent very happy customer. X
Hotel Facilities, bar and food were excellent. However, noise levels were very high at night from guests and a ventillation system out side of the room.
Really nice cottage for our family holiday and there was plenty to keep everyone happy
Stunning hotel with plenty activities for all the family!
Lovely hotel, some parts are tired and need some TLC. Victorian SPA is highly recommended, excellent breakfast choice and staff are very friendly.. went to the air riffle range, Josh our instructor was 1st class.. lots of other activities to do.. check on line...
Stayed in a three bedroom house (Sleeps eight) and it was fantastic. All mod cons supplied plus use of all the facilities of the hotel, swimming pool, restaurants, children's play areas, etc. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend this 100% .
Excellent place to stay. Lots of facilities for the children and great restaurants to eat in with a wide variety of choice of food.
Been going since was a child. Lots of changes but still love the Hydro
