One of the best properties one can ask for with a semi private beach. Although the beach is not a wow. The service is great and the staff is super. With a wide variety of restaurants from Italian to Thai ,international to Indian and Aussie to top it all. A little outside of the main patong area but the free shuttle to patong brings into the main centre of attraction. The chefs are excellent and specially chef Rahul at merchant kitchen was simply superb. He went out of way to provide us with lip smacking Gosht .

Wow, what a beautiful luxury resort, with heaps of pools, restaurants, bars and so many activities to do. We had two rooms with pool access and this was fantastic and the best way to go. Restaurants all had great food and so yummy and decorative. Great kids pools and activities. No need to leave if you just wanting to relax there. The staff are all very friendly and especially the cleaning staff they are so beautiful and very polite and accommodating and very creative as the left towel decorations and lovely notes for us.
Lovely pools good food and friendly staff. To far to walk to Patong beach and shopping. Have to take shuttle from hotel about 15mins . Complimentary till 12pm thereafter 100tbh per person per trip.
Staff are very friendly and hospitable. The resort is beautiful. Lots of different areas to sunbathe in. The swim up pool bar is great. Would stay there again
Hotel senior staff is very rude and they cannot handle crowd. They made us wait for more than 2 hrs. To get our room even after we told them that we have a 2 year old baby who is ill. We checked in at 2 still it took them 2 hrs to give us a room.
We arrived around 1 AM, and the hotel manager, June, was there to greet us. We were also offered a cup of tea, and when I mentioned it was a little late for tea, we were offered beer which we gratefully accepted. As a titanium for life member we were escorted to the room. Overall a very good start to our stay.
The location is good. Far enough from downtown to be quite, but not too far. The property advertises free shuttle service to town, but the hours of service were very limited, and reservations were required. Many times the shuttle was full, and we had to pay 300THB ($10 USD) for a taxi. The shuttle is not air conditioned, and is a very crowded.
The breakfast was OK at best. Good selection, but mediocre presentation. The beach is very nice for a few hours a day at high tide, but looks like a moonscape at low tide.
The concierge was substandard. The concierge desk was unmanned most of the time, and when it was manned, the help was very limited. We asked them to book us a taxi to the airport, and they quoted us 1600 THB. We booked a taxi online for 850 THB. Bottom line, DO NOT USE THE CONCIERGE DESK!
A very nice hotel. We loved our stay here. Staff were very nice. Specially Su ! The room was nice and clean and the Thai restaurant in the hotel was definitely worth a shot. The shuttle bus to the town could be improved as it's old and doesn't have AC and doesn't run frequent enough.
Lovely resort very affordable and with amazing food and beach.
Pros: -live reef access off the beach of the hotel -big swimming pools with lots of sunbeds -happy hours for drinks in 3 different bars across hotel - room service has the same prices as the resort restaurants so very convenient if you're not in the mood to go out to eat -food is delicious, best food I had in a resort this size. Even better than the restaurants down in Patong -staff service is excellent: Natacha from reception, Tooey from rooms cleaning -butterfly sanctuary has loads of butterflies to see -Entertaintment daily keeps you engaged and never gets boring, the singers we saw on Monday 27th at the Beach Grill buffet were very good! - Spa massages were super relaxing and the girls very professional
Cons: - drinks are very expensive, about 325 thai baht for a cocktail or a glass of prosecco - not enough staff around the pool during happy hour, they all tend to gather at the bar - a funny sewage smell sometimes in the evenings - shuttle bus is too busy and needs additional times added on schedule + it should always be complimentary - SPA prices are actually ridiculous, for a massage its almost 10 times more than what you pay down in Patong
Overall we would totally consider coming back to this resort :)
I like playing with my family. There are 3 swimming pools 2m, 1.4m, 0.9m, children's pool, infant pool, etc. The food is quite satisfactory and everyone is kind.
2nd Visit and will always stay here. Close enough to patong with out being to close. Free shuttle bus into patong and back but it you dnt get on only a tuk tuk ride down the hill at about 400bhat Awesome buffet breakfast Fantastic Spa and Great Sports Bar Swim up bar and if you dnt want to head out many restaurants . Also private beach that has a seperate restaurant Little Tiger and on beach Massage 400bhat and laundry services 70bhat per kg Love this Resort
I stayed here for 5 night. I booked two room next to each other with pool access. There are many thing to do at the hotel. There are three swimming pool one of them is a great for kids also the hotel has a private beach. I will stay here again whenever I come to Patong with kids.
This is an amazing resort. The facilities are great, the staff are so accommodating, the service is brilliant and the food is excellent. I definitely recommend doing the thai cooking class that the hotel offers. It was great fun. The pool bar has happy hour from 4-6pm every day, which means two for one drinks. You can move to the beach front bar after that. They have happy hour from 6pm until 8pm. The pool is a perfect temperature and pristine. I didn't go swimming in the beach because it looked too rocky and dangerous. The pool was great. I would recommend going to the Italian restaurant on-site, at least once. Excellent food. The breakfast buffet was great too. So much to choose from. Great value.
The rooms are a bit dated and you should pay for every order including breakfast, any drinks and any food. Facilities are though designed for entertaining and families. Food quality is good and there is a private beach; quite rocky though. All in all I would come back to this hotel considering the price was a bit cheaper. The bold thing though is the service and the kind staff.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The hotel staff went all out to look after our welfare and were polite and professional. It didn't start off well though as when we checked into our rooms, there were problems after problems. Firstly, the key card didn't work and I was locked out. Then the electrics were out but was lucky to catch an electrician passing by. We then tried to use the safe but that wasn't working either. By now, we were really frustrated, not to mention, tired from our travels as well as the inconveniences caused by the failings of the room. Requested to speak to Guest relation manager. She (Nadaya) was very understanding and went all out to help resolve our problems. Thanks to her, we were moved to other rooms (upgraded to pool access rooms) and she made sure that we were well looked after. Simple actions from her department like providing complimentary fruits and a personally written apology on a card show that no matter how bad an initial experience be, these can be easily recompensed by sincere and humble actions from staff. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff and especially Nadaya, for their actions which turned a potentially nightmare holiday into one that we thoroughly were able to enjoy. Thanks for all the efforts from your wonderful staff. Well done and carry on the good work.
A lot of really of really great activities, music and fire shows while we were there. The staff really make an effort to make it a great vacation! The rooms were also really nice although our room was quite far from all of the pools and main buildings. This is probably the case for a lot of rooms since the hotel is so large.
The location is more than 15 minutes by car from downtown. The hotel in October had many rooms under renovation, I couldn't walk in the corridor, and it got wet on rainy days. Please finish the repair work as soon as possible.
Although the hotel is a short ride away from main city Patong and the vibe, the facilities are great and for the families it is awesome. a private beach is a bonus with the Tiger restuarant overlooking the sea. If you want to be ''nearby'' the action but still have privacy and an upmarket setting, this is the place.
Great hospitality and a wonderful hotel. For the price, I'd say this is excellent - that's not to say that it isn't anyway. Location is near, but not exactly ideal - but you can't have it both ways in this regard. Will be staying here again next time I'm in Phuket.
Now this place really is special. The resort itself is amazing, as can be seen by the photos. The staff and the service provided, was also amazing. I can't thank them enough. I didn't get chance to try the restaurants, however the selection of restaurants at the hotel is suitable for everyone. My only comment is the gym could do with an upgrade, it's very small with not alot of equipment.
Absolutely fantastic!! The resort has been refurbished beautifully. All the staff are so awesome. The place is clean, friendly. The grounds are so beautiful. Nothing is a broblem here the staff make sure of that. The food is fantastic very well presented. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I have stayed at some beautiful places before but this place is well above anywhere ive ever been. We have felt very special here, thankyou so much Phuket Marriott Resort & spa. Good service staff, beautiful hotel, good location, not near but not far from Patong Beach There is a free shuttle bus service between the hotel - Jungceylon, Patong. The hotel has a private beach. But there are a lot of rocks in front of the beach, it may not be suitable for swimming, but can make up for it with a swimming pool because the hotel has 3 large swimming pools to choose from, beautiful rooms, spacious, bathrooms, use of THANN can smell. Fresh scent Breakfast variety But what I really like is that there is ice cream service as well as usually going to 4-5 star hotels rarely find the ice cream service in breakfast. Overall is very good. Have a chance to go back and stay again
Marriott Resort one of the best stay in Phuket with a separate beach only for the resort. There is a big swimming pool with pool bar. From resort to Bangala walking street is about 15 minutes drive and this place is one of the amazing resort to enjoy with loved ones.
I had a great time even though I didn't have time to use all of the hotels facilities. Benz, the receptionist who booked us in was very helpful and worth a mention.
Hospitality EXELENT out of the way of main stream but close enough to get there in a few minutes- beach is nice to look at but swimming & playing in the water NOT a good idea there are lots of rocks. Peaceful & tranquil... Would recommend to friends & family... Ps when using a taxi or shuttle close your eyes its organized chaos with scooters EVERYWHERE
This place is amazing so clean and the staff are so friendly ...you have your own coral reef snorkeling is amazing ..food is top quality best tasting food I've ever tasted and cater for all people ...had a pineapple red curry for breakfast today lol wow it was amazing...
Resort is very nicely decorated. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The various restaurants offer either local specialties or Western cuisine. Perfect quality. Very nice extensive breakfast buffet with terrace and view over one of the 3 swimming pools. Private beach.
FOOD POISONING AFTER 3 DAYS ILL IN BED FOR 3 DAYS informed the restaurant manager !!! who then tried to make all the excuses possible TO ,,,, SWIMMING IN THE SEA !!!! EATING OUT-----we where all inclusive and didn't eat out BRINGING A BUG WITH US . I spoke to the chef about this food poisoning and guess what THEY READ OF THE SAME SHEET SPOKE TO REP WHO TOOK DETAILS .. AND GUESS WHAT ?????????????????? NO ONE HAS NEVER BOTHERED TO ASK ARE YOU OK ... ... .. ROOMS OK THE ONLY THING I FOUND STRANGE WAS NO SHOWS OF ANY SORT ????????? DO YOU THINK THAT EVERY NIGHT PEOPLE WANT TO GO UP TOWN FOR 2 WEEKS ?????? THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS WE HEARD ABOUT THIS .. 1st time to Thailand and a marriot hotel not sure if I want to go back there to this hotel
Amazing place to stay, great for kids, have everything in the resort... private beach was nice... only drawback is the distance from Patong and you have to take a taxi everytime you want to go out...
Rooms are super clean, extremely comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pools are lovely. It was great having the hotel shuttle to get in and out of Patong. Awesome experience!
Nice resort on a great location with a awesome house reef. Feels like swimming in a aquarium. There is also a reef education center where can get loads of interesting information about the ecosystem ocean. Katie Bimson a marine biologist from IUCN Thailand is working there and is happy to give you the answer to your all questions about marine life.
There is also a dive base from Sea Bees Diving where you can rent snorkeling equipment or even book an exploration scuba dive to the house reef.
Great staff, very friendly especially Kelly who remembered all 6 of us, our room numbers as well as what bookings we had. We felt very special, I would definitely recommend a holiday there, we will be back :)
Excellent resort - 10 nights with the Family in two swim out rooms, in the lagoon section. Could not be happier with the service. A short trip to Patong or relax in the resort. Highly recommended - relax & enjoy.
You're welcomed to the place with a refreshment and towel upon arrival. Good variety of dining. Amazing breakfast and service from star. Would definitely recommend.
