Courtyard by Marriott Hamburg Airport Reviews

I just happened to land with my wife at the Courtyard Marriott today because our flight would be canceled and I'm thrilled! The hotel picked us up from the airport with our own shuttle, which went without a long wait! Thanks for that! In the hotel we felt very comfortable ... is one of the better! The staff is friendly and the hotel makes a clean and neat impression. Nobody can complain about the food, we thought it was delicious!
The time before dinner, we have in the pool, as well as in the steam room and in the 2 saunas distributed! Everything is clean, nowhere stains, or rubbish! ... probably everyone has already found in other hotels! ... We have the same dinner, drink something at the bar and after breakfast brings us the shuttle service back to the airport !
All in all, the day, despite canceled flight for us pure relaxation ... Quasi holiday before the holiday!

Kudos to all employees of the Hotel Courtyard Marriott! Keep it up!

Why some guests brushed on riot (see recessions) can not be understood for me, it is always the hair in the soup wanted! Nice packaged criticism is appropriate, because only then you can get better! Just breathe relaxed through the pants and loosen up! Bad mood eats energy! ... is my motto anyway!

Very friendly, nice beds, nice surroundings and very helpful staff when we asked for extra blanket late at night

Very nice hotel, near the airport. But horrible(!) pillows destroyed my sleep.

One star less for the WiFi connection it's not working properly for video calls and TV has chromecast but can not used probably because of WiFi.

The room and the food were perfect but the staff were not that good

Great junior suite, breakfast and food in the restaurant were good. The aqua-wellness area is great. Gladly again.

Hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms are ok and service is ok also. WiFi in some parts of hotel will be lost from time to time.

Clean, very close to airport as well as the subway to get downtown quickly. Grocery store not too far. Not many eating choices around other than that unfortunately. Excellent wifi

Quiet rooms in close proximity to the airport. The breakfast has a very large selection. The cash prices are high (5.90 for 0, 5l Pils)

VERY nice transit hotel. Nice rooms, good restaurant and good service.

Stayed for one night. Looks great. Greeted very well by the staff. Room was excellent. 10 minute walk to the airport if not carrying much luggage. Walked around a bit, nice area.

Great pool. Older style decor in the rooms, but clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff. Flight arrivals and departures screen in the lobby is a nice touch. Nicely decorated with awesome retro airline posters and photographs in the hallways. Depending on the flight paths, you may have airplanes over head but the sound is okay (very unlikely to wake you up), and you may get to see planes out of the window!

Because of flight delay, we missed the connecting flight and had to stay in Hamburg forcibly. The responsible airline service had booked a double room in this hotel for us. At the reception we were assigned room 260 which is right next to an obviously serviceable elevator. Due to the continuous noise we asked at the front desk for a quieter room. We were told that this problem is known but a room change was not possible - the only solution you could offer us were Oropax.
So we were allowed to spend a sleepless night here - thanks for that!
We find it unreasonable, if such a noisy room is offered.

Recently renovated hotel near the airport with a convenient shuttle service. The staff are a delight and very helpful. The hotel is well presented with a traditional fit out. The rooms have been recently refurbished, although there are a few issues that frustrate. The hand basin mixer fouls the basin when wanting cold water (no architect should have signed that one off), the shaving/ make up mirror is located as far away from any light in the bathroom as possible and all the furniture in the room is arranged clumsily around the sofa that is difficult to access despite a dearth of space in the room. But worse if all was how cold the room was, uncomfortably cold (and the main reason for losing a star). The heaters were unable to raise the temperature after 6 hours - with the curtains closed it would take even longer as the curtains completely cover the radiators preventing any warmth into the room - luckily our room couldn t be seen into too easily.
Overall a good hotel let down by little things that shouldn t happen in such a well established chain.

This hotel is hopeless !!

Got charged for Euros 180 accusing me of smoking !! I called the hotel and they wouldn't listen to the fact that am a non-smoker !!

I called the Elite Support and they proved to be no less than buffoons posing as non apologetic, non-supportive, ignorant and helpless.

Ms Marie Behrens : Next time am in Hamburg, you and I will be discussing this issue face to face and I will get my refund !!

Very nice hotel and the breakfast is very good. Close to the airport and easy to walk.

This hotel with convenient parking is just steps away from the Hamburg Airport. For those so inclined, a shuttle bus to and from the airport is provided. A swimming pool is also available here.

This is best place for me to stay in Hamburg. Homely environment.
