Horrible management. I am a gold status member and asked for a 2pm check out. Front desk staff said I would be charged. As a member they advertise you get automatic late check out upon availability. If they can charge you and offer it, it means it s available. Upon checking out I spoke to the front desk manager, and he said they should ve accommodated it, and he would look into it and contact me back and it never happened. I called to follow up but no one was willing to give any answers. Very disappointed as a member. Don t recommend this property to anyone.

Was here for a work conference, the hotel was clean and the beds are amazingly comfy! You'll love it. The hotel is situated in the heart of downtown. Eaton centre is 5 minutes away! It's so luxurious

Hotel location is perfect and in the heart of the city. Lobby is beautiful decorated for Christmas and the front desk staff are lovely. The the bar and rooms are spacious, and well appointed.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately only 2 of 4 elevators were working which meant waiting up to 15 - 20 minutes to get into an elevator when it was busy. Or taking the stairs (luckily we were only on the 7th floor, so it was doable, but not appreciated). Rooms were clean and well appointed with standard amenities. The hotel is well situated to walk to many places in the downtown core.

Poor maintenance of guest rooms. 2 rooms within 2 days, booth with broken door locks. Unable to come back to hotel at the eggs of the day and simply get into the room. Shower and toilet issues. Emailed the contact on the check out email still awaiting acknowledgement.

Hotel is nice, but experience ruined when the gentleman at check in decided me being in sports clothes & tattoos meant I needed to wait off to the side while others were checked in ahead. If I hadn t paid ahead, I d have just walked out. Maybe discrimination needs not be a part of the check in process

We had a great stay. The staff were very attentive. They were more than happy to provide us with restaurant recommendations. Valet staff were very kind and courteous. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant, and did a lovely job cleaning our room every day. I would definitely stay again

Like all Marriott hotels, this hotel was very clean. Being their downtown Toronto location the decor is very modern and upscale. Rooms are set to match being clean and upscale in look and feel. The staff are extremely welcoming and make you feel right at home. Did not get a chance to test oit fitness or pool facilities due to the quick duration of my stay. This hotel offers a $35 over night parking valet service where they are very gentle with you vehicle and if you forget something in the car (which of course I did) they will run down to your car to grab your forgotten item, or bring the vehicle back up for you to find it (if you'd rather). Great stay, loved the staff.

Amazing service, fantastic location! Great place if you're checking out Toronto for the first time. Super accomodating. When I was taking a shower, it was extremely cold. They got maintenance to fix it. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay.

Service was good, which saved the single star rating, but the building seems older than it looks from the outside. I paid top dollar for a room that had an odd layout and no hot water which meant a cold morning shower. Won't be staying here on my next work trip downtown.

The room was nice; however, valet made for a very bad stay. One valet man instantly asked my friend and I to smoke weed with him. We declined, and he continuously pressed us to do drugs with him, some I've never even heard of. We asked where to go in the city; he refused to tell us and said he as taking us out. we would not give our numbers to him after he repeatedly asked, so he gave us his name and number. We never called him and the next day he pressed us again begging to go out with him and do drugs. The next day he actually left the hotel and tried following us to where we were going. Finally we were stern with him and told him to leave us alone.
I usually love Marriotts, but this made for a horrible stay.

Parking is ridiculously expensive for guests ($35/night) and valets are slow. Hotel itself is very nice and in a really good location near the LGBTQ Village area with many bars and restaurants in walking distance.

Is this hotel truly one withing the Marriott chain? Although, it is a good place to stay at, there is no sign that this hotel is even related to Marriott chain (class, cleanliness, business friendliness, meals, good gym facility). This must be the basics of basics by Marriott.

Great hotel. Room was spacious and modern looking. Didn't use any of the facilities. Located right near metro station. Nothing extraordinary or bad comes to mind. Which is good and non complicated.

My room was not what I reserved and the wait for an elevator was anywhere between 11 and 18 minutes. The south tower is being renovated, the construction workers were rude to guests walking by. Not my first time at this hotel, but definitely my last.

The hotel employees are extremely unprofessional. I called to enquire about parking, was told I would be able to park my car on the property and there would be no charge. Neither of these things were true. The manager was extremely unprofessional (both the duty manager and the guest relations manager). We then found BLOOD in both our shower and bed sheets. They claimed we complained of stains and never mentioned blood. All lies. It was a blizzard so instead of leaving to buy our own we called down asking if they had a first aid kit with peroxide in it to test to see if the stains were actually blood. So to say they had no idea what was going on it a boldfaced lie. They did nothing to try and right the situation and we had to ask to be moved rooms (they moved us to a smaller one than we originally had but like that can't be helped). They refused to offer us a lower rate (for BLOOD in our BED) and offered 1 person free breakfast or bonus points towards a room next time, like I will ever stay at this hotel chain AGAIN.

Great overall. The rooms are showing their age and wear but are clean and serviced but wonderful housekeeping. Honestly the staff were the warmest of all the hotels we ve visited so far, and this was our 5th one in 2 weeks. Comparable service to the Fairmont just not the product (or prices) to match.

Tara went out of her way to deal with the way Expedia had caused 4 separate bookings to ensure we didn t have to change rooms during our 3 night stay.

Location was great with heaps nearby and easy access to everything. The rooms were spacious and functional but again old. We were also facing a new construction site which was noisy and our temprateure control unit was not operating. Probably 3 stars if not for the great staff and service but good value given the package.
