Loved the hotel !! I will definitely go back, great location, close to everything. They are delicate, leave flavored water in the looby, hosts Flavia very friendly and helpful, is every morning at the entrance. There is an incredibly huge supermarket around the corner, I have never seen anything like it !! very easy even. Great Buffett coffee.

I was there for a two-day training event. The hotel was very clean, parking was easy to find and there are a lot of great restaurants in walking distance. I would stay here the next time I have a conference here.

Mostly ok experience, staff were nice and gave pointers on attractions and restaurants. The rooms were where the problems stemmed from. The room I stayed in was strange, on one side of the hall you had your sink and the other the bathroom. The bathroom did not have a regular door either, it was a sliding barn door that was off the track and did not cover the whole doorway (you could see someone inside). Was not ideal for a room with three people.

Courtyard on Yonge downtown is my usual spot to get away from it all on the weekend. Amazing staff (very attentive and accommodating), clean suites and nice little bar / lounge space.

As far as courtyards, this hotel is on my average list. As a business traveller the wireless was very intermittent which became a real problem trying to complete work. The rooms are ok, but the street is very noisy so if you're wanting a quieter stay, remember to ask for a higher floor. They moved me to a lower floor to fix the wireless problem and all it did was keep me up with the street noise and make the wireless work 70% of the time. I gave this hotel a 4 star because it is clean, and very affordable for downtown Toronto. If you're traveling on business and need wireless call ahead and ensure its working well!

I wish I could give ZERO STARS stay away from ,I was racially profiled by lobby manager, lied to by his supervisor and when I asked for regional manager was told to email Richard, the hotel manager that just lied to my face, I made a video and confronted them and they were speechless, I caught them both in numerous lies , will be following up with legal action

Good location and the room was a decent size. Overall nothing too flashy about this hotel, but it served the purpose. Most hotel facilities were closed due to Covid-19, so it wasn't possible to assess the amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful.

So I am a platinum member, so I am supposed to get sort of really good service.
Putting that into perspective.
Rooms 4 star.
Front desk gets 2 stars.
Elevator service gets -2 stars.. yes minus.. the whole place including service runs on two elevators.
Amenities gets zero stars.
Location gets 4 stars.
That's like around 2 stars on average.

Really enjoyed my stay here!!! Everything was great from the cleanliness of the rooms to the excellent front end staff and valet parking staff.

Rooms are spacious and clean, modern and up-to-date, what you'd expect from the Marriott.

Booking is made easy too and the reservation staff are super friendly. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay.

Not a good option at all. Low class maintenance. Although they claim that they fully renovated, but the rooms are not well maintained. Lot of scratch on the furnitures and walls. I stayed at least for more than 10 days for a business trip. I found most of the rooms have bad smell like cigarette.
Once the toilet was overflowed... Horrible experience, but no sincere apology. Although they gave me 500 Marriott points, but their behavior was not good, which is always important to me.
The A/C is very old. So you can't set temperature according to your convenience.
One good thing is, their rooms are spacious enough. I stayed in many hotels in Toronto. I would say it one of the worst one. Not recommended to consider!

Was the location for few sessions I attended...was what you expect from Mariott courtyard only downside is Parking its hassle parking lot get full early and your left with the quiet expensive ones

Rooms are large and comfortable. Location is convenient. Elevators are slow and amenities are sparse. Having to queue up in an in-lobby Starbucks for breakfast rather than continental or standard restaurant is not ideal. Neither is having the front door located in the back of the building, requiring pedestrians to walk an extra block. Service is pleasant.

The Marriott Courtyard is a fine downtown establishment. Rooms were clean and nicely equipped, staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the top step Bistro crew. Common areas are modern and extremely functional. Valet at $35. and you'll see how the professionals do it; fast and courteous is their daily routine. A solid 4 of 5 from the yanks.

Hotel was busy for Caribbean Festival. Staff was as helpful as they could be but a heavy police presence and security checkpoints to get to the elevators made a poor first impression. Also we were required to receive uv stamps to access the elevators which washed off rather quickly. However, the room was clean and the floor was quiet. Aside from the negative first impression the first night was pleasant.

It seems that hotels in Downtown Toronto are almost always busy and full unless booked well in advance. This is a decent, typical long established, high rise hotel with very friendly, helpful staff and clean and comfortable, if unspectacular, rooms. It is situated on Yonge Street (no. 475), on the edge of Downton area, approximately 1.4 miles north of the lakeshore and 0.5 miles from the Eaton Centre. However it is very near to 'College' metro station, so is convenient for public transport.
As usual, rates are for room only. There is an on-site restaurant for breakfast at about a $24 pp/day supplement but with a metro supermarket across the road, we managed perfectly well purchasing breakfast food items there at the end of each day and using the in-room fridge and coffee/tea making facilities before setting off to enjoy the City each day.
For lunch and dinner, eating places abound in Toronto but the nearby colourful, popular "Hair of the Dob" pub in Church Street offers excellent friendly service, a wide range of drinks and very good food at reasonable prices, so is well worth consideration.
I would suggest, if possible, do your best to secure a room at least 6-7 floors up (the higher the better), thereby having some kind of view. The downside though is that the lift system can be a bit slow at busy times. Whilst ideally prefering to stay a little closer to the centre of Downtown, e.g. The Eaton Centre, we would be happy to stay here again on any subsequent visit.

The location was within walking distance to everything we needed and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Extras that we had forgotten were available for us, valet was wonderful. Food at the bistro in the hotel was delicious! We even decided to stay an extra night and will most definitely be back. My daughter really enjoyed the pool as well.

The hotel is in a great location. Rooms are clean & nice. Bathrooms are very small with no counter space. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. The hotel boiler system was down so we had no hot water, but after discussing with management, they gave us a 50% refund.

Amazing Service, wonderful staff. If you aren't sure where to go locally for a bite, be sure to ask the staff downstairs. They have lots of helpful advice! This is also a great place to stay while celebrating an anniversary or birthday. They're lovely and very kind.

The location is slightly off the driveway sort of sneaks up on you. The rooms were very nice flat screens in every room, bathrooms were clean, very very comfortable beds and pillows the service was good but there pool was out of order so that's why I gave it 4 stars.

Nice hotel in downtown Toronto, rooms size is good, the hotel outlet needs to be better , complimentary detox water available in the lobby , the valet charge is high, I think they need to do some special treatments to their in house guests for the valet, because you have only the option of valet, or at least give them better price than others as alot of hotels do ...

Elevators are slow - only two of the four were working, toilet handle broke (but was fixed quickly) generally run down. Service in the food area was good, as was the food, but seemed spendy.

My first interaction I was greeted promptly and professional by the front desk, my second was by the housekeeper (on the 15th floor) who was very pleasant. My room is a standard Marriott King size room, I wish the view was better but all in all I'm pleased.

I've stayed here a few times now when an event has been going on and I need to be downtown. The staff are amazing, I'm treated very well whenever I talk with them. They are laid back, professional, and also very accomidating. The rooms have been cleaned well except for my most recent stay which had some markings on the bed and toilet not being cleaned. I would recommend not getting a room with a balcony on the main road as it it gets very loud around 4-5am. I will continue to stay here as it is still one of my favourite hotels downtown, close to a lot of good restaurants, eat outs, stores, and you have a great balcony with very welcoming staff. Thanks Marriott!
