Update: Since last night I've spoken with the mark...
Update: Since last night I've spoken with the market director Ruben and he has apologized and advised the vehicle is repaired and being cleaned now. He also promised that the Service manager would call and make arrangements to have the vehicle delivered to me later today.
Since it took up until 11:30 am today to fix an issue with a fuse and the repeated brush offs from my original service advisor Steven, I will not be changing my rating. However, if what Ruben promised comes to pass, I'm willing to give them another chance in the future.
I will update this post again once I've gotten my vehicle back.
Worst service department in the Tampa area! My Jeep Compass is 3 years old and suddenly went into limp mode. Fortunately (or so I thought at the time). I was right by the dealer ship so I pulled right in. This was at 11 am. (They are open until 9pm). I called at 2:00pm to see if they had any updates. The girl who answered said my service advisor was with a customer at the moment and he didn't have any updates at the moment. No problem, I can check back in a few hours. So, at about 5pm I call and the same girl answers and says she is going to check with my advisor. She places me on hold and then transfers me to someone who is not my advisor and doesn't want to help me. The gentleman takes my cell number and says he will have my advisor call me back as soon as he is done helping the costumer he is working with.
1 hour later still no call back. I call again, same girl answers, puts me on hold, comes back says she doesn't know where my advisor is and asked if I could call back. At this point I'm very upset. I advisorher, I will not call back I need someone to find out what is going on and talk to me now. She advises me she can't leave her desk, but, she would see if someone could locate my advisor and bring him to the phone. She puts me on hold again and finally, my advisor steven answers. Says he text and left a voice mail 4 hours earlier that they wouldn't be able to look at it today.
I NEVER GOT A TEXT OR VOICE MAIL MESSAGE! Also, if that is so, why didn't the other people who answered the phone just say that.
On top of all of that you had 10 hours to look at the vehicle and you can't get it done. I'm not expecting it to be fix same day. But, you should be able to tell me what needs to be done. I can't even imagine how long it will take to fix, and of course I'm now at their mercy.
I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership again. Clearly, no one working there cares about you once you drive your car off the lot. If you ever need your vehicle serviced, I would advise you to go anywhere but here.
