We have been coming to Costanoa in our RV for almost 2 years. This was our favorite spot, not only because it's beautiful and the staff is exemplary but because of the fast and reliable internet. All is still true with the exception of the internet. It is sporadic and most of the time you can't get on at all. I am truly disappointed. Other than that, this is a 5 star stop.

We stayed in one of the wooden cabins and had an amazing time. There's so much to do on the property and area. Best part was spending an evening in the jacuzzi, sauna and then relax at one of the open air fireplaces after a long hike. Restaurant is ok, nothing special, so I'd recommend taking food to go and doing a picnic on the beach. We went with our 10 month old and I don't think they had cribs available, so bring your own.

Lovely "glamping" resort on a beautiful isolated stretch of California coastline. Delicious food at the restaurant, everything from campsites, to canvas cabins, a lodge with rooms with fireplaces and beautiful views.

Costanoa is a beautiful establishment. It has a great restaurant that we enjoyed and wonderful grounds. We walked around between the camping cabins and through the gardens to enjoy nature after our brunch. Staff was very nice, the food was delicious, the plates we ordered came in the wrong order.

I attended leadership training here. Room was nice and quiet, bed was very comfortable. Grounds were will kept and beautiful gardens. Costanoa lost stars for bad buffet style food, almost inedible, and way below standard WiFi connection.

OMG! Love this place! Just coordinated a company two day one night offsite here and it was great! So beautiful there the rooms, the cabins were nice and staff very friendly. This was the perfect glamping experience for us. I will definitely come back.

All hookups available for RVs.. but the atmosphere is not what we would have expected. Granted, we stayed Saturday and Sunday night, but the crowd of people staying across the way were rowdy and drunk partiers, with no one telling them to keep it down. They went on well past 1030pm. The restrooms are connected by what I can only call a "gathering place" as there is a firepit between the two hallway style bathroom where a mass of people were hanging out drinking and talking loudly. There is one shower in each restroom, four or so toilet stalls (one with changing table) and three sinks.the doors were propped open and men were milling about the fireplace gathering area, yelling into the bathroom over the noise of the drunk congregation to communicate with their wives. Needless to say, no ladies took showers due to the open doors and men lingering neatby.
The location is nice with a pathway that goes down to the beach. You'll have to cross an extremely busy highway with no crosswalk, so this is terribly dangerous, especially for kids (and drunk adults). It's worth risking your life for the sunset though, I guess.
There is an area with horses and goats, which cost an additional payment to enjoy. There's also a play area for kids.
The employees of this KOA seem very disgruntled and unfriendly. The workers at the village shop were complaining about other customers as they checked put my purchases. The older host guy at the restaurant on site was also grumpy and did not seem to want us to eat there, nor did he seem to care if we left. It was 4:15pm and only the bar was serving food until 5pm when dinner would start. The host acted like we were out of luck because we didnt make a reservation, even though all the tables were empty and there was 45 minutes until people would be eating at them. We asked if we could sit at the bar then and he begrudgingly pointed towards an open spot.
Wifi is available at Registration but doesnt reach all parts of the campground. There is no signal at this site for AT&T users. There are coin op washers and dryers- $3.75 in quarters to wash and dry one load. Not bad. Also there's a sauna near the fireplace gathering area, if you want to brave the drunk crowd gathered there.

I expected KOA to be more friendly and safety centered for the amount of money we paid.

This place is extremely expensive and totally not worth it. For starters the beach, which is what you would think be the main attraction is 2 miles away!! Almost nothing to do at the camp spots, and the WiFi is completely useless. On top of that there is almost no cellular which would be fine if the beach or other activities were close. There is also a weird raw sewage smell in my area. The people here are LOUD! Late into the night people are still yelling. The RV spots are at a angle to so everything is all wack. The restaurant is very pricey with bad food! They put carrots on a pizza!?! Everything is not only inconvenient but disappointing. I do no recommend this place at all, and you should look else ware you ll thank yourself for it!

We have camped her several times and love it. The playground was great for our grandchildren but needs a couple of benches so that parents and grandparents have a place to sit while watching the kiddos.

We took our RV there on our maiden voyage and had to figure a lot out. The staff there was a dream and so very helpful. Love this place. Saturday evening we attended a free wildlife show at the lodge that was amazing and Sunday morning we we're treayed to an amazing Falconry demonstration by Full Circle Falconry. The opportunity to see these birds up close and in flight was amazing! Too many available activities to make in a weekend trip. Looking forward to going there again!

I did not stay here, but I went to the restaurant on site. The service was poor (two guests were helped before me, which is fine, but the staff didn't acknowledge me at all), and the food was overpriced. I'm sure the wait staff may have been overwhelmed but it took me an hour to get in and out when I just ordered a salad.

Amazing views and very nice accommodations whether you plan to stay in the lodge, a luxury tent, or go RVing. The beach is only a short walk away and there are many trails to keep you busy.

We have now stayed twice, once in the lodge and once in the cabins. Both are beautiful accommodations, very quiet, and well appointed. The comfort stations are clean and easily accessible. The Cascade Restaurant is spectacular. Overall, great experiences.

Beautiful Views. Nice camp ground accommodations. Excellent place for company camping aka glamping retreats. Motor homes etc. Take your pick. Enjoy the land and the peace. No cell service unless on the grounds.

Ate at the restaurant. Food was very good, a little pricey, but delicious. Beautiful setting, we ate out on the patio and could see the ocean through the trees. Then walked out there after our meal.

We stayed in an outer pines tent. Bed was very comfortable, bathrooms ('comfort stations') were well equipped with showers, plenty of sinks, toilets. The water gets piping hot, so nice for a shower on an overcast day. On-site restaurant was delicious, highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again

Was at Costanoa for two nights for a team off-site. The Lighthouse Bungalows we're excellent. Ate at the restaurant several times and enjoyed every meal. The skunks are very bold, though!

I really don't have any patience for places that advertise their "pet-friendliness" and then use tired, stereotypical, and offensive breed restrictions based on bad science and ignorance. Don't want big dogs? Fine, have a size limit. But banning dogs based on a "breed" that you can't even identify? These people can shove it.

Great place for a party and family get together. The catered dinner was great. Ocea and Ren did an outstanding job as did the head server Katie. They went out of the way to make sure everything was perfect. All my guest had a great time. Location is beautiful and the lodge is very comfortable.
