Corwin Automotive Review

I have a leased van, I received a mailer stating I could turn my lease in early and lease another vehicle. Because my "excellent payment history". I contacted the sales rep, told him what I'd like to do and he stated he would look into it and call me back. I missed his call and immediately returned his call with no answer. I tried to call 3 more times with no answer(I left a message one of the times). I then called and spoke with another sales rep and explained the situation, he told me he would call me back the next day or day after, no call has come yet almost a week later. I then asked a friend of mine that works in the car business to see if he could get my info, when he went to the new car manager she stated to let her take care of it she "knows how to run her business". Apparently customer service is low on the priority list. Speaking of priority's, apparently I wasn't one because they keep putting me off to call back later. Reconsider doing business with this ownership group, they could do the same to you.

Working with Corwin after dealing with other car retailers ease's one's mind and they take the time to find out what your needs and wants are. I had multiple vehicle's to choose from and found the right one for myself and as a family vehicle. Thanks again Tim G. And all the staff at Corwin.

I worked with Danny Sandbeck this week and I had the BEST experience ever. I let him know what I was looking for and in 2 days I am driving a 2015 Honda CR-V. The customer service with Danny and Dan in finance was outstanding and top notch. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, stop in and see Danny Sandbeck. Tell him I sent you. My husband and I were looking for a new car, and Honda was our first choice, as we have owned the Honda Accord previously and had very good luck with it. Got a very good trade in on our used Honda Accord and Ken our salesman was very helpful in helping us pick out a new Accord to suit our needs. From the test drive thru the financing every thing went smooth and all of our expectations were met. It is also very helpful that we can take our car in for regular oil changes and tune up's, and they are prompt and efficient.

I had a great experience at Corwin Honda! Eric Johnson was very helpful in finding the best deal for me! I would recommend any of my family and friends to go to Corwin Honda!!

I stopped by Corwin Honda just to look at some new vehicles. I met a Jason Olson and he went out of his way to help me out! I was very surprised by how friendly the staff was. I ended up buying a new Crv that I just love! I also met Curtis the Sales Manager who worked out all the numbers and made the experience so easy! I will never go anywhere else for a new car! Highly recommend the staff at Corwin Honda!

Claimed to have everything in check and order before we got there and that our loan had been handled, so we drove the 2.5 hours there, test drove, and upon doing paper work found out that we were lied to over the phone. They tried telling us a bunch of bs about the title and loan being connected, which obviously wasn't true. To top it off, for 4 hours we were surrounded by toolbag high-fiving white guys that look like they all just hopped out of the same clown car. So after jumping through hoops for 4 hours, we had to make the 2.5 hours back. If you want to be made someone's bch, try Corwin. Otherwise, go somewhere better. Very limited professionalism.

I was dealing with a sales person Jake Mueller, and basically spent 4 hours sitting at his desk while he casually kept walking by me and the dealership with no responce. I drove from Twin Cities to pick up the car, with price already arranged and it's still took them 4 hours to make a transanction (no finansing involved, straight cash purchase). And he was aware that I drove all the way from Twin Cities, very tired and at night. Almost crashed on my way back to Minnesota. Planning to buy from Jake, better book a hotel first.

My first time buying my own car. It was pretty simple and quick. Ryan barnes was very helpful, laid back and easy to talk to. I didn't feel pressured which is what i was afraid of.

Ryan Barnes was our salesman. He was friendly and courteous. We told him the kind of car we wanted and the price we could afford. Ryan delivered the perfect car for us!

While many people may enjoy the car buying/leasing process, I am not one of them. However, Elliot Koch at Corwin Honda made the process easy and somewhat fun!. He worked with me to find the vehicle I was looking for while staying within my budget. He was very knowledgeable and stayed in contact with me without being pushy. I ended up leasing exactly what I was hoping for - the stellar service from Elliot was a bonus!

Jason Olson was very patient with me and found me the perfect vehicle. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Jason Olson. I would recommend Jason for your next car-buying experience!

While sales person was personal and didn't pressure us, it seemed he was under a lot of pressure to close the deal as soon as we walked on the lot. Or at least the presumption we were going to buy the car. Exhourbant amount of time going through sales questions and paperwork even before we could see the car we came in to look at.
After the test drive and being clear we didn't like the car, he had us talk to a manager before we left.( She was also friendly and courteous.) We spent significant amount of time explaining we simply didn't like the car.

Corwin has now done wonders for me TWICE! Lisa Bruns, my sales lady pictured below, was spectacularly helpful and delightful to deal with. She is the Internet Liaison from Corwin Jeep, but after our initial contact, saw me through my purchase of my new Subaru at Corwin Honda. The finance department worked with me, was fair in dealing with me on numbers for my vehicle and for my trade, and fixed all the relatively minor issues I had, including a chipped windshield. I recommend Lisa, Eric Taylor my Sales Manager, Brad my Finance Manager, and the Corwin staff to ANYONE looking for a great experience getting a new vehicle!

Our salesman, Josh, was good to work with and patient while we test drove and looked at multiple vehicles (we were shopping for a first car for our daughter). However, once we decided on a vehicle and started the financing process we were not impressed. It took way longer than it should have to run the financing and get us into the finance manager s office to sign papers. Over an hour. Then once we were ready to complete the purchase we saw extra fees that were not relayed to us up front. A $299.00 processing fee?! They are padding their sales with the fee, I ve never encountered a fee like this just process a vehicle sale. Then a fee that was almost $400.00 for an anti-theft tracking that they put on all the vehicles on their lot. The finance manager said that they do this because they have had issues with vehicles being stolen from their lot and they pass this service on to their customers. They make it sound like it s some great benefit to have this service. NO. I m not worried about the vehicle being stolen from me and if they have theft issues at their dealership I really don t care. If I wanted an anti-theft device I would buy one on my own. They are just using this to help themselves while they have the vehicle in their possession and then pushing the cost on to the customers. Total BS in my opinion. So, what was supposed to be a cheaper first car for our daughter ended up $700 more than we expected due to their extra, hidden fees that they are not up front about. Could we have walked away from the sale, sure, but after 6 hours at the dealership plus the fact that we found the vehicle that we were looking for we felt a bit stuck. Will never buy at Corwin Honda again.

Service was done in a timely fashion. Staff always nice and accommodating!

2 hours waited to check the tire pressure and fluids..good service but god dang wait time..I dont recommend it..

Andrew Leighton was the most amazing salesman I have ever had in my life. Not only was he helpful and considerate, he was very reliable and trustworthy. He made me feel comfortable and at ease while making this big decision. I would 100% recommend anyone looking for a new car to go see Andrew because you will not regret it.

My vehicle search began on line and ended at Corwin Honda. Jeremiah Graves was outstanding! He was warm, personable, funny, and worked with me to find a vehicle to fit my wish list and budget. I can't say enough good things about the Corwin team...Eric in management and DJ in financing pitched in to complete my purchase. All three of them did their best to make sure I was comfortable with the details surrounding my vehicle purchase. If you're looking for a new/different vehicle, make sure you check with Corwin Honda and ask for Jeremiah. You will be glad you did.

Recently bought a car from Corwin Honda in Fargo. Salesman was Ken Johnson. I pretty much knew what I wanted and he helped me to find everything and get out of the door with a brand new car in less than an hour. It was awesome I love the service there and I'd give 10 stars if I could.

The honda store is extremely nice inside and very well laid out. Expanded sales lot with more cars than ever which is great being they have way more colors and options to look at of each model now. The only downfall I found was a place to park. That being said it was really busy with customers looking to buy and it was Saturday so that all played into the parking issue. That was my only (mild) complaint. The staff were friendly and professional. Riley was the salesman I worked with and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the vehicle we were going to purchase. He took the time to let me take it home make sure it fit well in our garage and so my wife could drive it being she was home with my little ones so she couldn't make it in. He gave us ample time to make sure it was the model we wanted. During the buying process the new car sales manager, Jessie, came over to assist Riley in making sure the price was where we needed it to be. I felt no pressure at all from either one to push me into a payment I wasn't comfortable with. They both made the buying process enjoyable and comfortable. When buying a car it can be very stressful, but I didn't feel that here. If you are looking for a new or used Honda, this is the place to go. Look for Riley-he will treat you well! Thanks again, Jessie. You made it a stand out experience for a process most people dread. The delivery sales manager, Jeremiah, came out to show me how to operate all the new features the new pilot has and made sure I knew how everything worked. He was very thorough in answering all questions. Overall, a very good experience.

It's like pulling teeth to get them to honor their commitments. Never received the 'excellent customer service' they included in the sale agreement.

Tony Lee Johnson was such a great guy to work with! He took the time to listen to what we wanted in a vehicle. This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased from Corwin (both from Tony), and will come back when we are ready for #3!

Stopped in to buy some parts. Was greeted by one of the salesmen, Brandon Kumlin. He was very knowledgeable about Honda parts and service for a salesman. We talked about cars while I waited for the parts desk to locate the parts I needed. He is very passionate about cars and when I make my next car purchase, I'll be looking for him personally.

Made to wait for 20 minutes at a time because the sales man had trouble finding the car which was understandable. But later when trying to negotiate a deal with the sales man, his manager stepped in accusing me of not wanting to buy a car and essentially saying Bye Bye. Sad to see such a well established car dealership treat its perspective buyers that badly but not surprised.

Update PULSE WARNING. After buying our vehicle we found on the bill of sale a $400 charge for PULSE. This is apparently a safety device add on the flashes your brake lights. None of the staff offered this as an option or told us about it. We asked up from t if there were any additional fees or charges and had in writing that there weren't. In the end the salesman had to pay us back out of his own pocket for this.

Original review: Very competitive on price on the vehicle purchase. Staff was professional and friendly. They push a bunch of extra stuff like service plans, accessories ect. My main complaint is the time to do the sale took way too long. We drove from out of town and asked them to have everything ready to go and it took 2 hours. It should have taken 30 mins max.

The staff were friendly but they dropped the ball on a few things. They advertised remote keyless entry and would not provide it. Other minor things as well- glove box broken, no floor mat to cover the trunk area and no place to put the front plates. Overall though the vehicle is decent.

I had an amazing experience with not only Corwin Honda but my amazing sales rep Kelvin.

To say I am picky is an understatement when it comes to cars. I have looked at over 12 Nissan Muranos and saw this one at Corwin and flew in from the twin cities to look at it. Kelvin was able to answer all my questions before flying there, they had no hidden fees and were up front about all their prices, they are the only dealership that took their time to clean a car before I arrived to look at it and that speaks volumes about them and their customer service.

They have a great selection of new & used cars.

I can t recommend Kelvin or Corwin Honda enough. My family all agreed we would fly and or make the drive to Fargo again just to work with Kelvin for any future cars we buy.

My wife and i were in looking for used suv, and talked with jeff fallgatter and he pointed us in the right direction , highly recommend jeff and corwin honda.

Watch out for hidden fees and misrepresentations!! I will preference this by saying Iven, the sales person I dealt with, was great! However, the sales manager I dealt with was a con artist. I agreed over the phone with him to buying a 2016 Honda Civic EX for $19,700, minus $500 for being a recent college graduate, for an overall price of $19,200. When I arrived at the dealership the sales manager had $19,800 down as the purchase price on the documents - after arguing I eventually got that resolved. Next, I went to the financing department to finish the deal. I knew I would be paying for tax, doc fees, and licensing fees (this was all discussed on the phone). However, at no point was it ever mentioned that I would be paying $599 for an anti-theft transfer feature (absolutely useless feature - google it). After questioning the charge, the individual doing the financing turned his computer screen towards me, showed me the numbers on the screen, and told me not to worry because in the end the deal works itself out and I wouldn't be charged for it. Relying on his representation, as well as the sales manager's previous representation that I would only be paying tax, doc fees, and license fees on top of the agreed to purchase price, I continued with the deal. When I arrived home I went over the paperwork and discovered I was charged the $599!!
