My first visit to the office was a good experience. Demy the PA was really cool had great bedside manner. Really good follow-up assistance from Edward in assisting in getting my MRI scheduled great follow-up.
The reason why I gave them a five was because Edward in the Radiology MRI department was very helpful in working with my insurance company and giving me an MRI immediately after my first doctor's appointment thanks again.
Terrible experiences and surgical results from the Corona-Temecula Orthopedic, my elbow joint mobility decreases significantly and experiencing constant pain years after the surgery and PT, follow up appointments for advices were not helpful, I am now being referred to another Orthopedic surgeon at Loma Linda after seeing their in-house elbow specialist (Roghani). It is also very difficult to get a timely appointment and getting a hold (long wait time if you've lucky otherwise to voice mail) of the staff from this office. The office staff does not return phone messages. Finally, the wait time during a typical appointment is about 30-45 min minimum, even if you show up 15 min early for the appointment, all this wait time is for about 5 min consulting time with the doctor or PA, this office is way over booked. I would not recommend this place and would have given a zero star if there's an option for that.
I had a great experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My treatment was thorough (symptom review, examination with x-rays, and consultation about results) without leaving me waiting alone in the room for extended periods of time. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is how long I had to wait for the appointment (two weeks), but if they're booked, they're booked.
This place is Horrible and the Dr s are Terrible please dont go here this place has the worse care , they say you have one thing and go into do surgery and find out its not that issue at all , They do un needed surgery s and when they do they make more harm then good this place needs to shut down and the surgical center is in Murietta its called rancho oaks surgical center this place looks like a ware house and not a drs office this place is very dirty and you will get infections from this place there are spiders and cock roaches roaming the floor, even in the areas of recovery this place is not suggested . BEWARE
My wife is a bad b1tc#, has had several major surgeries and dealt with countless doctors over her 48 years of life. She just came home in tears from an initial appointment with Dr Locke and won t talk about it! What the f is going on at this place? Not sure if I should be writing this, calling the AMA or cops! Stay away! I will be posting this wherever I can!
The doctor are awesome the PA the front desk associate , they never returned your call never return your message . I called 10 times and they never return my call. And they never returned your message from their app worthless app
Was given no information from Dr. Baum after sugary on what was done during surgery. Not given recovery information, post surgery care, nothing. They wont give you anything when calling in to get information from his office. They never return phone calls. They don't work with you on make appointments work for the patients schedule. The pain pills they prescribed do not help me with pain and they will not prescribe something else. I read the reviews before being seen and I really should have listened. If I could give a zero or a negative star I would. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I am prior military service member and have dealt with VA doctors, this is very close to that beating around the bush to take care of you feeling.
Dr Baum did my ACL replacement about 10 years and I had a great experience. I have since reinjured my knee and wish I could say the same great experience however that is NOT the case. The staff (mainly the front office lady who greets you and answers the phone) is absolutely horrible and rude! I watched many interactions as I waited and hour and half for my appt. (which by the way took 6 weeks before the PA could see me). It s been a week since my appt when I was told they would call me to schedule surgery. I called to follow up since I expected by now someone would reach out only to be told it could take 6-8 weeks before they contact me to schedule as they have to wait for a bed to open up! I am dumbfounded by this. How about call and schedule it for 6 weeks out. Instead I have to just wait, hope they actually remember to call me within two months to schedule. Guess they don t understand that many of us may need to schedule time off work and childcare for a surgery so let s hope they don t call me two days before. Meanwhile I am in pain!!!!!! HORRIBLE place! Even if he docs are good the practice needs work!
Oh and if you re going to leave someone to wait in the patient room for over an hour, (after already an hour in the waiting room) maybe hang a picture on the wall or a skeleton or something to look at.
Dr Tooma has done a great job on my right knee. I've had a sports injury torn ACL from a long time ago and he has performed a surgery to replace and repair it. It went very well. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend him and the facility to anyone
The amount of time to get an initial appointment is VERY lengthy. Once you obtain an appointment, the wait time at the office (Dr. Reiman) is typically hours until you see the doctor...they way overbook. I have personally waited 2.75 hours and 2.5 hours to see the doctor. I actually thought they forgot I was there.
My surgery was scheduled and they "made a mistake" and didn't realize the surgery center did not "have the equipment" to do my surgery, so surgery had to be rescheduled. All of this despite the fact I had scheduled the surgery months prior, and they contact me about this problem only a few weeks before my originally scheduled surgery.
Now I am in physical therapy. They do not respond to the faxes my PT office sends for renewal of my pt. It is almost impossible to get through the answering system to get to a person who is able to help. If I had known how disorganized and inefficient the CTOA office is, I would have booked a doctor in Orange County or LA and had the surgery out there with a better doctor and hospital selection.
The only redeeming feature about his office (which is why I give a 2star instead of 1star) is Lisa and Misty in the back office. They have been very helpful, but it is difficult to get the operator to put you through to them (and they are very busy).
WOW, all of these reviews are so sad!! Doesn't the office manager read reviews?? My mom has been with Dr. Tooma through 2 knee surgeries and 2 hip surgeries. No problems what so ever! Why doesn't anyone bring this situation up to the boss and get rid of this lil twirp with attitude?! Im actually on my way up there now so I will se what you all are talking about.Then i will post an other review. THIS REVIEW WILL REMAIN THE SAME. Never got further than the first phone call, I called to make appt for a 2nd opinion. I was basically told to call a different office or call my insurance because they aren't shoulder specialist, (I never asked for a specialist or mentioned needing one) VERY rude, uncaring and completely unhelpful. I certainly hope the Doctors are more caring then the front office staff.. What a shame :(
Worst experience at a doctors office in my life. It took over two hours to see the doctor even though we were one of the first patients to arrive, and there was only one other patient waiting before us. I wish I could give this place less than one star because that feels too generous.
Be aware if you allow this company to replace your knee, Surprise there is a 90 day global co pay waiver for your post OP visits. This is included in the $ they charged your insurance. I went to my last appointment and was told I had to pay a 40.00 copay. They scheduled me 11 days after the 90 global. I had No idea of this global 90 day time period. It's not the 40.00 it is principle. They need to tell patients this and they need to schedule their patients within this global time period NOT after.
So I pay or go to collections.
Horribly rude receptionists, very unfriendly. Also when my husband broke his arm, they offered to have a brace delivered to us, but didn't tell us the cost. We got a random bill for over $200, and the office told us it's not their problem because they aren't the ones billing us. Awful experience, would choose anywhere else to get treated if possible
It s nearly impossible to get through to speak with anyone. My primary faxed a referral 3 times- they said they never received anything, and they told me they were bombarded with fractures and I wouldn t be able to be seen anytime soon. Unprofessional and incompetent.

So far I have had a positive experience here. If I had one negative it's the $30 fee they charge for FMLA and disability paperwork and then it isn't returned on time.
I've been going to CTOA for 6 years for ankle, elbow and knee issues. Their staff is courteous, patient and helpful. I've been through rehab and surgery on multiple occasions. Working with everyone has been a smooth process. Thanks for all the great service!

Beware!!! Run away from this place, first off the office staff is rude and unprofessional. They scheduled my sons surgery and refused to give me the time, less than 24 hours away. I had to call the center and demand the information. Second today, my 7 year old was supposed to have surgery at a surgery center, 20 mins after the surgery was supposed to start (my son was in his gown and everything) the nurse and anesthesiologist came out and said they didn't feel comfortable doing his surgery because of his medical history that Dr. Rouhe never went over prior to scheduling. Would not even come out to talk to us, we literally got pushed out of there and told we have to start with a new orthopedic place and do our surgery at a children's hospital but did not provide a referral or paperwork or anything. I have filed a complaint with the insurance, even the pediatrician and insurance company could not believe the lack of professionalism.
I'm making this review while sitting on hold to make an appointment. I've been on hold for 20 minutes listening to their slow jazz that is obnoxiously interrupted by their address every 30 seconds and at this point I could repeat it back, verbatim.
I usually wouldn't give a one star review for that, but it happens every time I call this place. The best doctor is the one that actually answers the call when you need him/her and this place never answers the phone.
Dr Danny seemed knowledgeable and helpful. The office staff, specifically the operator is unprofessional and rude and will just transfer you mid sentence instead of listening and trying to help the paying customers get the help they need. She must really hate her job. I'll give this place a couple days to return my call before I report them to my insurance company. No time for this nonsense.
This is the worst facility of orthopedic surgeon (foot, ankle, and knee). After your initial appointment that you wer advised tha you need a surgery. It will take you at least six weeks, if you are lucky, to get an appointment for your surgery. The scheduling department do not return your calls. I need beg from them if they can provide or set my scheduled surgery. I was willing to take a date as far as six weeks but still couldnt provide me with a date. I thought if you are in a scheduling department, all you need is the surgeron calendar, insurance approval. They have everything what they needed to schedle my surgery but thye never called nor couldnt schedule my surgery. All they could do is take your message and wait from the scheduling department to return your call. This facility is the worst. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY.
When my son fractured his wrist it took nearly 3 weeks to be seen. He wore a brace and a sling all that time. When he finally got his cast on they set an appointment for a 2 week follow up. 2 days later I realized we couldn't make that date and called to reschedule. They told me they had no availability until 2 days before his 6 weeks with the cast on was to be up anyway. I was appalled. I asked, "what about new patients being seen today, you don't have any availability for a 2 week follow up for them?" I called BS!! They obviously had to have openings available for new patients!! She wouldn't admit to it, but said that one of the doctors was on vacation so my son's doctor was covering all patients and they had no availability, but to call every couple days to see if there was a cancellation, and so I did. But there never was. So finally we go in to get his cast off at 6 weeks, and his wrist is super crooked!!! His wrist looked absolutely fine when he fractured it. It was a tiny fracture in the middle of the bone. You would never have known anything was wrong with it just from looking at it. Now it looks mangled! So, they screw up his wrist, and then the doctor tries to blame it on me!! The doctor says it was set wrong and they would have been able to catch it if we had come in for his follow up, then, that piece of crap excuse for a man has the audacity to try to scold me for not coming in for the follow up appointment!! I told him I called every other GD day trying to get in for a follow up and they told me they couldn't get him in. Then he starts back tracking and trying to make excuses for his receptionists. No apology, no sympathy, nothing. I left the office in tears.
The receptionist staff was always rude. In the office and on the phone. Even when we were leaving the office the first time and they forgot to charge me for his waterproof cast. She set the appointment for his follow up and said we were all done, then I pointed out that we were supposed to pay for his cast. She acted like "oh, you better pay for that!" even though I was the one who pointed out that she forgot to charge us.
Worst experience with a doctors office ever! We would have been better off letting him heal on his own!!
Front Office and scheduling individuals are rude, very unprofessional, and snappy. Schedule for this office is very difficult.
I waited 6 weeks for an appointment and seen Dr. Locke. I told him my wrists have been bothering me for 2 years. He asked which one was worse, I said left. So he looked at my right wrist and told me to raise my thumb, squeeze 2 of his fingers and that was the extent of the exam. He then told me to suck it up and the only thing that gets better with time is wine.
Don t waste your time or money on him. It was the most unprofessional and useless doctor visit I ever had.

I did leave a bad review earlier today. It seemed at that time, like they did not care and I was forgotten about.
I just received a call from a very nice person at the office and they read my review. And they made it right. I'm scheduled for a MRI within the next couple of days, and they were very helpful in locating a place I could go.
I was actually impressed with how they made the attempt to make things right. It was very refreshing. I moved from 1 to 3 stars. If things go well. I will ammend it to 5.
My insurance group Prime care stopped using Arrowhead Orthopedics because if the extensive complaints. Upon arrival at AO I was told this after I took a day off of work they informed me that my new orthopedics would be Corona Orthopedics Temecula. And I thought Arrowhead was bad!!! I called to make an appointment they said I needed an updated x-ray since I had my ACL replaced a few months prior. I asked for an x Ray's slip and they said I had to go to Arrowhead Ortho FOR the x ray request. Uhhhh what!? I called prime care they said no that Corona Ortho should request the X-ray. I of course called them back and this time they told me to see my primary care Dr for the X-ray request hahahaa ummmm what! I call prime care again they suggest seeing my primary and coincidentally my prime care had. Openings before my orthopedic appointment which I'm having issues with the surgery. Needless to say I still have not seen an orthopedic, my leg hurts constantly and clicks and I can't see them.but can't get the x ray to see them. It's great! They also told .E to go to Arrowhead to get my records. Ummmm is this real life. They can request my records with one signature from me!!!!! Absolutely horrible staff. Unfriendly and coincidentally she kept "accidentally " hanging up on me. Run!!!!!
I had a Hip replacement by Dr. Baum he has the hands of an Angel he did a great job no pain any more, great rehab.
Front Desk is RUDE and not helpful, (similar to the DMV attitude). PA was great though.
I agree with most of the comments on here. Staff members are generally rude, although the wait time has been minimal. This is my son s first broken arm and he was in tears. The assistant who formed his cast was the worst healthcare provider I have ever dealt with. Please remember when dealing with children to be patient, kind, and reassure their courage over fears. Bedside manners are incredible important too!
