The staff are great people.....always ready to help.... course is clean ....nice place for the not so good golfer to play.....wait staff at the bar are nice ...food is made to order and is delicious

Nice place for trainings and meetings along with golfing.

My wife loves the fish fry. I think the burger is good. My kid likes the grill cheese. The place could use a face lift. The light bulbs need to be changed out. Its like a gym.

Used clubhouse for bridal shower. Very good staff and value.

The Staff was excellent in both the clubhouse and restaurant. The course was in real decent shape and play was swift.

The course is not kept up very well. Was treated very rudely by a guy named Bob in the pro shop. This gentleman has no business working with people and really should be fired by the Mt. Prospect Park district.

My mother-in-law lived there for many many years. They will not let you go out there and less you live there so I don t have much to say about this please I know they were small apartments and very strict on what you can do. Like no parking on the street to visit your family

This was a fun 9 hole course. I definitely didn't expect it to be as fun and challenging as it was. By challenging, I don't necessarily mean the course design was the hardest but the way they used the hills, the trees, the houses to cut left and right and change the way you could attack the course. The seemingly best line was blocked in one way or another and forced you to really think about your tee shot and plan where to land. Closing hole is a par 5 that angles you left from the tee behind a large tree so you have to play a draw around it or aim right over hills from the tee and take the risk of an uneven lie if you don't carry the hills. Great value!

Very well-kept course. Good pro-shop, bar, and sandwich menu. Reasonable green fees. I would play it again.

The parking lot is a bit too small but it's a nice place to visit.

Very nice course, but pricey...for 19 bucks for 9 holes, you can go to a lot nicer courses. Maybe that's why course was empty.

Nice 9 hole course. Miss all the deals they use to have. Sand traps need work. If you don't hit the ball straight becareful.

Excellent nine hole layout. Adequate maintenance of grass areas. Nice greens. Poor maintenance of large sand traps. Can be very busy and slow play with senior leagues. Call ahead to check. Food and drink facilities are excellent and reasonably priced.

Tough course and over priced, but still enjoyable. Walk it instead getting a cart.

Golfed 18 and looked everywhere, up and down, and no Rob Roy to be seen. I knew he was dead! Flase advertising.

Nice little 9-hole course. You get to do a second 9 for $10! weekdays seem best.

Such a great place! Staff is always SUPER nice and accomadating. Course is so CLEAN! Not full of goose droppings like ALL the other nearby golf courses. They use a service called "Geese Police" who run a specially trained working dog throughnthe course to chase the geese away. And if you're lucky enough to be there when they are working, it's an amazing sight to behold. I've never seen such a well trained dog in my life!

Good walk for nine holes under cloudy skies on a soggy surface. Proshop was friendly and good service too.

No goose droppings like the other courses in the area, grass and flower beds are always so beautiful. You can tell that they care about the course, despite this being a public course.

There staff there is very friendly golf Course is terrific condition. Staff members go out of the way to help you out. Banquets and bar and grill have terrific food and beverages. Also under the management of Billy Casper Golf.

Used their banquet hall facilities for an event with 75 ppl. Great staff, nice accommodations, good price.

Cook county Election judge training class. Volunteer to be an election judge. Great people and it pays you for volunteering. Great training class plus online class.

Challenging nine hole with several of the fairways giving little to no room for error. Bring your A-game, especially off the tees or you'll be buying someone a new window.

Was there for a 45 high school reunion. They have Nice facility.

Darn good course with enough trouble and hazards...you better be good or be ready to lose some balls unless you shoot 80s.

A very good bunch of people who allowed Special Olympics to have there bowling banquet here.

I just recently had my bridal shower there. Everytime we spoke with "Nelly" she changed what we could and could not do. When we originally signed the contract they said we could use the kitchen- then of course the day of that changed. They also NEVER told me that there was a 50 people minimum so we only had 35 but was SUPRISED to be paying for 50.
ALSO THE MOST HORRIBLE THING OF ALL.... THINGS WE BROUGHT HOME FROM THERE WERE INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!

Honestly, I am not much of a golfer myself, so you can feel free to take my review with a grain of salt. That said, Rob Roy is a pleasant place to golf regardless of skill level, though I would recommend it most for those of more intermediate golfing ability. Though it may feel a bit small and cramped in places, motorized golf carts are definitely not required. If you golf, I recommend checking this course out at least once.

Long, narrow course. A few water hazards, but for the money and distance, worth a trip.

Great time for a quick round. I really enjoy having this golf course close by.

The course winds through a subdivision and has some very narrow fairways. If you shank a drive there is a pretty good chance you'll hit someone's car or a house. It's a challenging course, but somewhat unfair at times.

Nice small golf course in a quiet retirement neighborhood. Nothing crazy technical, but well groomed. In general, a nice way to spend the afternoon. They have cart service and its reasonably priced.
