This is the first time in the combined lives of our family we have walked out of a restaurant because of slow to no service. Lucky we left when we did otherwise we would not have been able to get dinner this night. We found another nice restaurant and were able to make it in time and get everyone fed.
From what I could gather and the food we did get it's nothing to get excited about
I recently organized a staff team
Building/Celebration event at Coriander Leaf CHIJMES. We had a cooking challenge for 25 in their private room set up for this purpose! It was very enjoyable for all our staff and made for a fun, fast paced and exciting night. The CL team were well organized and easy going, ensuring we all achieved what we had to without taking away the challenge part of it. Our teams cooked a selection of dishes which was then presented as a buffet for us all to enjoy as a group. There are a variety of cuisines to choose from at reasonable prices . Special mention of thanks to Din, Raj, Samia and her chefs for making our celebration so enjoyable. The chef hats, recipes, aprons we all took home as well as the photos taken by staff serve as a happy reminder of our night! 2 thumbs up!
You come for the wonderful food but you stay for the amazing hospitality that James provides. We went with our family of 5 and James made us all feel very comfortable, constantly talking to the kids and getting to know them better. James was also able to make most dishes non-spicy for the kids and overall was a wonederful evening for all of us!
Great service! Had a good time chatting with the manager and had good recommendations from him.
It s always such a treat to dine here. Delightful food, beautiful atmosphere and friendly service. We appreciated the small starter called one bite , it was such a nice touch and an interesting dish we wouldn t normally have ordered otherwise, but really enjoyed. The menu selection is out of this world. I love how they take asian flavours and put their own twist on it, and also that the dishes seem meant to be shared. We would strongly recommend the jackfruit curry (my favourite!), the garlic naan, and the momo dumplings. We also had the mushroom salad and the beef kebab, which were great too. Would definitely be back.
Great place for a team dinner. The menu is rather unique and a complementary to each other despite being an interpretation of various cuisines
We had a lovely dinner here. The service was excellent. The wait staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was beautifully presented and there were some interesting choices on the menu. Some of the flavour combinations weren t to our taste, but others were fabulous. We had a lovely night and would love to go back.
It was a long time since my last visit. A blast for the price and always lovely to share.
Friendly place with excellent menu, layed out in tastes. Most dishes come with a story and if you are unsure what to combine the chef wil guide you through.
Amazing food... explosion of flavour in the mouth. My favourites are the lamb chop and beef kebab. Perfect place for a date, friends gathering or business meal. And reasonably priced.
Excellent service and nice ambience. We will be back!
Amazing food, incredible staff and a very nice setting. What else could you ask for? Loved the tomato chutney, the signature chicken dish and everything else, too actually. Highly recommended this restaurant.
Visited again. Food is still amazing and special. Lamb was excellent.
epic vegetarian Asian fusion dinner with great service by James
the selection of food for both vegetarians and non is fantastic, so much choice and innovation from Impossible kebabs to chickpea "tofu" curry your taste buds will be tingling
and I don't know why people are complaining about the service, James who served us is a rock star, was very helpful on the menu and very friendly, forever smiling and we built up a great rapport very easily and he couldn't have done more for us. outstanding service!
they also have an extensive wine, whiskey, cocktail and beer list to satisfy everyone
overall a wonderful occasion and we'll definitely be back, highly recommended
The restaurants in Chijmes (esp the ones in the open air) have better drinks than food. Coriander Leaf is on Level 2 and provides very good dining experience. There is a Vegetarian menu as well. Smaller dishes, covering key areas of Asia, so you can try more varieties. I like the Burmese Curry and naan. Good desserts as well.
WARNING:
When they ask u if u want some still water, if u dont want break ur pocket, just tell them, u will go for tap water... hmm unless u want to pay eight bucks for the bottled still water, which is shown in my picture....
So come to the food...
Ordered the bone marrow out of curiosity as i've been youtubing keto diet recently, hmm... looks nice but i guess, in order to kill the heavy greezy texture and taste of the bone marrow, the mushrooms on top were prepared in a very salty way... it was so salty that i couldnt finish the bone marrow, plus the bread given was not enough to cover the saltiness... arrrghhh.. wasted the mushrooms and bone marrow...that grilled fish was nice, our table ordered two fish but the size of the two fishes in each plate were totally different, so checkout my picture there... so possible that if ur first visit was a big one, u get disappointed the next time u visit and see a fish that is about 2/3 of the one u ate before... well.. dont give up, keep trying, at least the service was not bad. staffs were attentive and friendly (or im not sure if that's becoz we wete the only table that time... ) their steak is nice, lamb is great too so i suggest u go for the red meat...
Authentic Indian food, never disappointed with their dishes. Awesome service!
This place has an amazing Asian fusion food. Loved the ambiance and quick service. The food was quite interesting as they have amazing options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. Would definitely recommend the place to be visited if dining in with family or friends. Must try are the chicken momos and sea bass main course.
Went to the restaurant this evening. What an all round fantastic experience! Great food along with welcoming and entertaining service! Awesome way to spend an evening in Singapore.
This restaurant serves top notch Thai fusion food. Even the vegetarian dishes were amazing and well thought out. Highly recommended. Their dishes come in sharing portions.
Service was great as well.
Greeting us when we walked into Coriander Leaf, the pan Asian restaurant, she manages on the 2nd floor at Chijmes, Cynthia had two tables to offer. Thanks to her and her team, the thoughtfully curated menu for our very important lunch meetings, felt personal. It reminds me of the relaxed, light-handed, modern food that many of us with roots in India, may cook at home. The chefs pay attention to the quality and balance of condiments & flavours & what comes out of the kitchen looks attractive, of fine-dining artiness.
Overall a good experience. Service was good but a bit tight lipped. Would have helped if they gave more updates. Food was yummy. Gluten-free menue but not really clear on dairy-free.
Excellent regional cuisine with strong Indian influence in a lively yet sophisticated restaurant. The sambal sting ray fillet and lava cake are both delicious. Spinach parcels are good but not as memorable as the first two. Great place for a night out with friends, large groups or even a business meal. Wine list is quite decent too with a good selection of by the glass pours compared to other similar restaurants.
Excellent food, ambience and service! We had the coriander and octopus salad, signature chicken, softshell crab and avocado ice cream with banana fritters. Every single dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended! :)
By the way, if anyone has a hard time finding the restaurant, it's right above El Mero Mero! We couldn't find the place at first and had to call the restaurant to ask for directions.
Lovely service...very nice restaurant and very tasty food.
Wonderful recipe, great dishes, highest service and pleasant place, inside and outside, on the river. A must to see.
The staff were very rude. My gf and I got there and the attendant was not at the front desk. We then proceeded to look for someone who could get us a table. The staff shouted and made a snarky remark, "what are you doing?! This is a restaurant?" This comment was uncalled and insulting. Not to mention this was our first time in the place. These people should be fired and should be sent back to their country.
Had an amazing experience at Coriander Leaf. Great food options and very prompt service. Loved the ambience. Was our first visit but we are coming back for sure!
Very poor service and substandard food. You can find better, tastier food at hawker centers and a much better service where the stall people serve you with smile.
The moment you enter Coriander leaf, you're made to be felt like you're next bunch of loads on the staff members coz they got more work to do.
We made a reservation 3 days in advance but still were made to wait for good 10 min. We're told table is getting ready and I was watching the dining area sitting at the bar, nothing changed. Nothing! Unnecessary wait, then taken to table and then? Forgotten. Kept waiting to orde. Finally managed to after calling in the waiters 3-4 times. Food was served quickly but they forgot our drinks. After we reminded, it was served when we're almost done with our food.
Food was below average and my main course was just full of pepper! Couldn't taste anything else. For a moment, I got confused if their name is Coriander leaf of Black pepper! Drink on the other hand, was just flavoured water and soda. I had ordered Ginger rogers. Avoid that
By then, my opinion was of a 2.5-3 star rating but then, something horrible happened to the next table and they found a LONG HAIR in their very first item served! I just hope & pray our food was clean atleast.
My rating is 1 star but my husband liked his food (mine was vegetarian and he ordered non vegetarian) so adding in 1 more star here
Avoid this place if you want to have a good experience and enjoy good food with some warm welcome and get nicely served
I d provided some feedback (after being asked via email) which was never acknowledged, hence posting here. I m still getting marketing emails with use this special link to book and they ve clearly missed my email and focused on just sending marketing spam.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. I don't usually respond to these kinds of emails but I would like to make you aware of a few areas for improvement:
- I had stated when booking that my guest was vegetarian. When ordering, it was only then that the separate vegetarian menu was pointed out. As you are asking for this information upon booking, you should be aware of the need to share the menu.
- We appreciate that 7:30pm on a Saturday is a busy time. However, we were one of the first in the restaurant and our order wasn't taken for a long time, behind later arrivals.
- The jackfruit in the curry was very chewy and the aubergine was overpowered with garlic.
- We had ordered vegetarian dumplings but they never arrived.
- Overall service was not attentive and very slow - we had to chase to order and wait a long time for the cocktails at the end of the meal.
- At two separate occasions, the server sat down between myself, on the bench and the table next to us to take their order. This was very uncomfortable and practiced no safe distancing. We were <50cm at these points.
I hope this is useful feedback to take forward.
We sat at the bar so wonderful to watch these talented chefs at work
Chris and Jan
May very well be one of my fav places in Singapore. Great good, good service. Think asian fusion in a nyc setting.
Quaint and charming!!! They start of with a intriguing mouth cleanser. Must try the prawn salad, lava cake, soft shell crab..: simply yummy!!!
I booked a cooking class with them as a present for the birthday of my friend.
As written in terms and conditions, 3 days prior the booking they should have advised me if the class is confirmed or cancelled. Since I didn't have any information, I called them. They asked me to wait one more day and that they will call me the day after before noon to confirm the booking.
The day after at 3 pm still no call! I called them and they told me the class is cancelled.
Definitely not a professional company and a very bad customer service.
Don't waste your money with them.
Very good food. Suggest to inform when the apetizer (pan) is served, that it is not complimentary.
Delicious food and experience. The lamb chops were to die for!! The menu is so diverse and every dish had a very unique taste. Kudos to the chef!
Not bad at all. Very delicious mains in a tapas style, the signature chicken is particularly good as well as the umami tofu! The only let down was dessert. Banana and avocado wasn't great, ice cream too sour and taste combination didnt work. Pavlova had good elements but none ot those worked together. Otherwise good place with good service.
Terrific indulgence of what Singapore cuisine has to offer. Enjoyable atmosphere and enthusiastic staff.
Amazing food, can't wait to get back and try more dishes from their really interesting menu
Nice food but the experience is average with quite indifferent service. Why ask 'still or sparkling' when you have run out of sparkling water, which by itself is a major miss when you are a high end place. Even the still water needed repeated requests for additional bottles. When some of us left earlier we got asked 'have you paid' even though others were still seated. Definitely not a high quality service experience, which is a shame as the food is quite good.
It's fantastic to sit down to a meal which is really nicely balanced with excellent flavours. But more than that, the options on the menu were a really nice selection of really interesting ingredients.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we received a dish by mistake they took it off the bill at the end. Nice wines, with an ok number by the glass.
Worth trying, the menu is on the website.
Perfect food, excellent experience. Very highly recommended
Pretty decent food at a not ultra-fine dining price. Amazing how even and upper-mid scale spot won t let you forget you re in Singapore... their signature chicken dish came with the same odd thigh scraps you d find in a hawker center. Some dishes were better than others, but for the price it s worth a try.
We walked into the restuarant a few minutes ago with a reservation for two. Once we walked in, we were asked to wait since the staff lady told us that they were turning the tables. While we waited at the bar, we saw that many tables were actually unoccupied and nobody was turning any tables. After a few minutes a few other people started entering and were asked to wait like us. After approx 15 minutes of waiting the staff lady started seating everyone but us. Even people who came after us were being seated. I approached her then and asked her that it wasn't fair to which she didn't really respond positively. I told her that we are leaving and she couldn't be bothered.
There was no sense of professionalism but we felt discriminated against. Pathetic service and a really bad experience. I would encourage people to have a backup plan if you're planning to visit this restaurant.
Well prepared, mostly tasty and sophisticated dishes, and beautiful. Good service. Good price quality ratio. Will go again!
Love the Asian fusion styled menu. The food is surprisingly fantastic. The ambience is great too! The staff there are all very efficient and polite. Definitely recommend it a try.
Delicious! Great food and nice atmosphere. On the expensive side but very worth it.
A group of us had booked the demo cooking class with Samia - A moroccan feast. It was a fantastic learning opportunity for those who enjoy cooking! Samia is quite an exceptional and charismatic chef and she made the session fun and interactive. The food was excellent as well! Inspired me to go home and try the very next day :)
There was no experience - my wife and I were literally turned away this afternoon...walked in to a non smiling and obviously overworked server...the main section was full and the server wanted us to squeeze in to a table for 2 between two larger occupied tables...we asked to be seated in another section which was empty but he said they had reservations....we told him the table offered did not suit us but no response from him...it almost seemed he was happy to see us go....sad...we went elsewhere..when people make reservations they reserve for number of people but table allocation is up to the restaurant....don t get why they would see people leave when the restaurant is half empty.....better service required for sure
Food and service were fabulous. Would highly recommend.
I was here for lunch today. Stood at the recep for about 30s until someone managed to take notice and directed me to the table I reserved for 2. Food was alright but nothing to shout about. Ordered the chef bowl, squid, commander mao (sinchuan side dish) and fillet. Would recommend for a quiet business meet if food tastiness is not a big priority.
Awesome food and Brilliant gluten free menu
Thanks to James and Ash for taking such great care of us and the kids. Your food was unreal and matched with amazing service and your gluten free designated menu made it so easy.
A fabulous night, we are sending our mates to you as well.
Cheers and thank you
Amanda, Don, Cooper & Ruby x
Never fail to impress! Excellent service as always.
We had a reservation for 8 people but we had last minute acceptance from our team when we got there, we requested if its possible if we can get another chair or maybe a table and then this guy from your team berated us and said that this is a full reservation blah blah he was very rude and then we asked if they can check please as we don't think we will reach 10 anyway ( we ended up being 9 by the way) and then another came in and was also rude, and then we were transferred by an unhappy server who could also improve on her customer skills. You need to re-train your customer service skills as despite your good food, your customer service is a big turn off.
I had a proposal to my girlfriend last month and I was assisted by the friendly crew there whom gave me a fantastic table and helped me in multiple ways that made the proposal a success!
The food there is fabulous and delicious too!
Highly recommended!
Variety of food with different textures and good mixtures of Asian flavours. Food is absolutely stunning and yr palette is going to be surprised.
I will definitely go again n the vegetarian options surprised too!!!
Overall wonderful experience with my toddlers...they love the rice, NaN and codfish. Ate so much that we need to stop them from eating too fast!!!!
Ambience - We were seated in the private dining area, the first thing which we noticed is this weird smell and how noisy it was.
Service - 5 min of being seated and nobody bothered to attend to us. We had to ask for the drinks menu. Then again we had to call the staff to place our orders. The food arrived but the drinks didn't. We needed help with the menu. But the wait staff was new and had no clue about what food they serve. He went to check back with the chef to never return.
1 hour in, and still no drinks At last we walked out with empty stomachs and a bitter experience.
The food we sampled was nothing to rave about. Standard food which can be had anywhere else with much better service at a much better price.
If you want to be a fusion restaurant don't leave it to the diners to guess what your dish entails. Describe it in the menu and train your staff!
Very poor quality of food and hygiene....horrid experience, water glass had lipstick marks all over, long 8-10 hair strands on our seats...never again!
Loved the food and ambience. All dishes are served with excellent presentation. This was my second time here. Highly recommended
Had lunch here on a weekday and I tried the South Asian lunch set. Enjoyed the dumplings, tandoori chicken and thosai. Service was prompt and quick despite being a busy day with only one service staff. Will come back to try the other items on the menu.
Served small with a taste!
Great food and drinks, spent time with great friends and nice place.
Only the aircon was too cold, I managed to sit not directly under the exhaust.
Bad experience even before it started:
We came here for dinner and waited for our seats. The place was not crowded but the Malay or Filipino looking waiter ignored us. He walked past us even though we said we wanted a table for 3. Even gestured to him, but he pretended to play high handed. He then fumbled with the IPad as if acting busy, and we have to go infront of his face to be noticed. We then asked him again if he wanted our business and has he got a table for us? It is quite obvious that the place was empty and he could have easily got us a table. But instead, he chose the rude way and just ignored us and played high handed, and acted busy. We then confronted him and asked him what is his problem. He then gave in and then relented to give us a table but it was too late....we are better off taking our business else where.
Good luck to this place if they want to continue to treat customers with this cold attitude. In times like these, these people should be trained properly and learn to give good service.
Loved it here - the food was amazing and it was a cool atmosphere being able to sit at the bar facing the open kitchen. Because we came early (about 6:45pm) the kitchen staff weren't too busy yet so were happy to chat about the food and offer us little things to try on top of what we ordered. Would definitely return next time we're in Singapore
Overall did not meet our satisfaction with food and service
Truly excellent dining experience - our host, Dylan, was simply amazing! Thank you!!!
A Momentous Evening at Coriander Leaf
We had the opportunity to dine once again at Coriander Leaf and had a very satisfying experience.
I would recommend Muhammara and Labneh dip which was divine. We had Dim-sums too for starters which is a Chinese dish and usually eaten at lunch but we had for dinner. The Dim-sums were light and tasty.
The Persian Kebabs were succulent and Frontier Chicken was delicious.
I would like to especially mention that we savoured the Lamb Chops with utmost delight.
My compliments to the chef and to the management for excellent service and delicious food. It was a gratifying experience indeed.
Nice food and excellent service. The staff are very friendly and gave some good recommendations on the dishes.
The sambal tiger prawm is spicy and amazing. And I really like the garlic Naan.
The dishes here are beautifully crafted and extremely flavourful! Also love its location in Chijmes. A place I like to bring my out of station visitors especially if they are vegetarian.
We go to Corriander everytime I go back to Myanmar. I love the food and was surprised to
find out there is a massive ballroom at the back as well could easily fit 200 people. They
should promote that more
Horrifying service. Dishes served wrongly and removed with hardly any apology. Even worse, misplaced dishes was served to the correct table immediately. Any proper restaurant would have given a new dish to the other table. Water was also spilled on the table. Clumsy service. To be fair, food is decent but the service leaves much to be desired.
We went for a Valentine's day dinner and man, was our experience just perfect - the staff was all very knowledgeable, menu was delicious and ambience was romantic. I loved everything and will definitely be back for more! thank you coriander
We made reservations 2 weeks in advance for lunch for our group of 12. My friend and I had both called asking about bringing wine. The gentleman in the phone told us both that there will be a $40++ corkage fee. We were fine with that. But when we asked them to open the wine. The management lady asked us for the receipt. Because they want to make sure we paid taxes on the wine. We told her we were never told on the phone that we needed to show them receipts for the wine when we called. We didn t have receipts for the wine we brought from our home. My friend s wine was bought from the airport duty free so the management lady said they can t open it. The ones I brought from home also can t be opened because I didn t have the receipt. Who would keep and carry the receipts for their wine?
There is nothing in the wine menu regarding corkage fees and showing the receipts as proof. She could not produce any written information regarding this to show us. Just kept repeating it. We ended up nor being able to open any of the wines that we brought.
We were given the wine and food menus to share between the 10 of us. I asked if there was a set menu. The waitress brought me one menu to share. I asked if she can bring us more menus. She looked annoyed when she went to get more.
We all ordered the set lunch and two naan breads. After 10 mins the warm naan breads arrived on the table. I asked Can we all get small plates please? Her reply was You will all get a big plate from your lunch set. So we got nothing. We all sat there looking at each other with a bewildered look as our naan got cold sitting in the table as we waited for our lunch sets to arrive. We were refused plates.
It was a very tense lunch as the place got filled up with more costumers and less attention was paid to us. The food was good and cooked nicely.
We were served our tea/ coffee after our meal. When we asked, Could we get more milk please? The management looked as me and said There s three already. and walked away. Meaning the small 2 oz milk holders on the table for all 10 of us to share. Our coffee cups were half full. I had to ask the waitress twice to get more milk before it arrived and our coffees were cold. We were able to cut our birthday cakes and left. This was the most disappointing birthday lunch I ve ever had. As all of us tried our best to not make it worse by not arguing or raising our voices. This was my birthday and my friend s belated birthday. We can all see the staff and management were calculating everything as to give us the bare minimum so they can still say they proved.
We paid the check and left very disappointed from all the raves we ve hear from our friends that went here. Only to be disappointed. I gave 2 stars because the food was good. Service needs to change. Next time just tell your costumers they can t bring wine instead of all this mess.
had a team meeting. amazing and gracious hosts (Rajeev) and amazing staff. will recommend to all and come back for more.
Friendly and great service and delicious fusion cuisine.
Fabulous. Great menu, executed extremely well. Well balanced fresh flavours, good portion sizes, nice venue, and our server behind the counter was wonderful. Winning, will be back!
Absolutely loved the food and ambience! Very friendly staff, and much thanks to our lovely hostess for the great recommendations and nice conversations. Definitely going back soon!
Excellent! Highly recommend this place. Great pan-Asian fusion food.
We came here for the first time I last night and both loved the idea of the 5 flavours on the menu. I absolutely loved the spicy stir fry chilli aubergines and my partner loved the soft shell crab and salty duck egg from the umami section. We were given an explanation of each section of the menu and Marcus was particularly friendly and was really informative and enthusiastic about the restaurant and dishes.
The service was great and the rest of the staff were excellent, however it looked like the restaurant could have done with one extra server as they were really rushed off their feet, and sometimes a bit hard to get their attention just because it was so busy (not because they were not attentive).
We had the lava cake and teh tarik which was super! However I was less than impressed with the white rabbit ice cream pudding with the sweet potato, jelly, cornflakes etc. Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. Overall though good and would visit again when we're back in Singapore!
Great food, ambiance, and service. Muslim-friendly (non-halal but no pork is served). Awesome experience overall.
This is the only restaurant I've returned to multiple times over several weeks in Singapore. The flavours are fantastic and the ingredients are fresh. The staff is also lovely and will happily chat with you about the food if it's not too busy.
The service and the food here is absolutely fantastic. There's an incredible fusion of flavours and tastes, and selecting a handful of dishes to sample is definitely recommended. The Burmese curry tofu + garlic naan is a match made in heaven, and the crab croquettes are also incredible.
Last but certainly not least, the serving staff are outstanding - truly professional and very friendly. It makes for a very enjoyable experience matched with the fantastic food. They also have an open kitchen with a sitting bar which is something we'd like to try next time!
Stopped in for dinner and it was busy night but they had seating at the bar. Got to sit right next to the head chef and was able to watch her and the other kitchen staff work. She even personally served all our dishes and really made the experience that much better. Itbwas fun to chat with everyone as they were working. The food was amazing! The way the food works here is it is meant to be shared. So make sure to order some dishes from each part of the menue.
Second time back here in two months - food quality is consistently well-executed, service is attentive and prompt. Definitely get the cod, the jackfruit curry, and of course the amazing naans. Their avocado ice cream is one of the best I've had!
Don t make a reservation here if you actually want the table to be reserved for you.
Very disappointed with the way reservations are managed. Booked a few days in advance for a 7pm seating on a Friday night. 2 hours before our reservation, I get a call from the restaurant saying they re overbooked and they can only offer us seats at the bar. They obviously knew that this would not be ok with customers, hence the phone call. To make matters worse, they offered me a table at 9pm, as an alternative. If I wanted a table TWO HOURS later, I would have booked it to begin with.
This is not a new restaurant, so they really should know better than to do this to a customer and at the very last moment on a Friday night!
Calling me at the last minute also meant that alternative options became very limited.
They ve lost my business permanently too many good, alternative options in Singapore.
Wife and i tried to go there for dinner last night. Sat right on kitchen prep area. Head chef (female Gordon Ramsey wannabee...) spent all her time berating the kitchen staff and completely failed to acknowledge that customers were completely being ignored. After 10 mins, we walked out....
They recommended 3-4 dishes for two. We got 5, and two desserts. It wasn't enough. Everything was crazy good.
The momo dumplings were DELICIOUS. (Make sure to get them with chilli padi. It adds an extra dimension.) The shan tofu with coconut curry was smooth and rich. I loved the watermelon and cheese salad -- refreshing, sweet, acidic, and fatty all together, for a perfect combination.
A small negative note: the bathroom felt a bit old and grimy. A new paint job would help a lot.
Food was fantastic, service was great. Highly recommend!
Has to be in the top 10 restaurants ive visited, asian fusion tapas almost. Incredible, fresh and fabulous service, highly recommend.
Fantastic food, superb and engaging service. Ginger creme brulee is unbelievable
Unforgettable experience. The person waiting our table was very helpful in helping us decide what to go with and made sure we had a great time! Definitely going back here to try the rest of the menu.
came here for dinner recently
wonderful dining experience, friendly attentive staff, and food was wonderful especially the dumplings. there was a chicken momo dumpling and a vegeterian dumpling i tried, both were great. dumpling skin to filling ratio was on point. there was a spinach tortellini i tried, it was refreshing but i might not have again, a bit too left field for my palate, but a few others liked it a lot and sparked quite a conversation .
even though im not a fan of coriander at all, i found other non-coriander options on the menu.
recommended, 5 stars.
its a great place for groups of friends, and where food can so easily be the conversation starter.
I visited this restaurant for the first time after the introduction of phase 2. I had heard excellent things about this restaurant, as it was based on asian-fusion cooking. However despite how decent the food was, the staff and level of service left a sour note in my mouth! The staff members seemed reluctant or uninterested when we asked for basic services such as spoons, plates, tissues and information on combining tables. There level of courtesy was very low, and I would suggest the main staff/cooks to not ignore this situation. If it had not been for that I would have given a higher score. I won't be coming back to this place!
