As always a superb experience at Coriander Leaf, which is fast becoming my favourite (where I want to go again and again... and again!) restaurant in Singapore. Their food truly bursts with flavour.

I usually order vegetarian food which is my view is harder to get right is delightful. The Shan Tofu is always on point, but it is the Jackfruit Curry that surprises me with its very unique flavours - I am bowled over and will be back for more. Their Naan bread while just a side dish is worthy of mention because it s the softest and best Naan I ve ever had (including in India)! Another dish that I ve repeated several times (and loved each time) is the aubergine - just the right kind of spicy.

It wouldn t be a fair (or even trustworthy) review if I didn t mention the 2 dishes that disappointed. Both the Mala Chicken (too deep fried and dry) and the Frontier chicken (not bad, but not particularly flavourful either was hidden under a heap of rocket that didn t really complement it).

Corriander Leaf serves small plates and it s great to order a bunch for sharing. I don t think you can go very wrong, no matter what you order. So, go ahead and have a feast!

Enjoyable dining experience with an open kitchen concept. Food and presentation were very good. The menu is organized by taste, including "umami". Plenty of vegetarian choices.
Prices aren't cheap but adequate (10% service charge added). Service is OK-ish, sometimes slow, small requests forgotten, or beverage items aren't available. Sitting at the kitchen counter can be fun.
Paying SGD 12++ for answering to "still or sparkling?" appears like a cover charge; green tea is from a tea bag - probably could do better there.

Love this restaurant! Excellent service and food. There were good recommendations and suggestions by the service staff.
This restaurant won best restaurant for many years (earliest was 2003?)
Located on the 2nd floor of Chjimes, you can take the stairs or lift to get to this place.
Space is adequate and quite huge.
Place is often packed with people during mealtimes.
Food are mainly fine dining style, with small portions but pricier.
Cuisine style is fusion, with an emphasis on Indian cuisine - a good mix of spicy and non-spicy food both.
Quality and service is assured.
Would come again!

Decent quality food. I loved the deep fried sea bass in tamarind sauce and the lamb, but the crab and clams weren't as good as suggested. Expect to order 2-3 dishes per person as this is their recommendation since the portions are typically on the smaller side. Service from James and Monica was great but food came out quite slow even though the place wasn't completely packed. Overall, a good experience.

The cooking school there is a pretty cool concept.

As it is a popular restaurant for locals, the service is poor for tourists. Signature dish chicken dishes with large chunks that were not cut properly but served without cooking. I pointed out that I'm not sorry and what ...
I didn't make a reservation, so I told you to sit at the bar. My family had only two tables while eating, and the hall was empty.

Do not treat tourists properly. So disappointed. Looked up the tripadvisor review, visited without reservation, and had to seat around the bar, while there were only two table taken until we finiahed eating. Ordered their signature dish (chicken something) and the chicken were chopped too big and were served seignant. Of course they did not appologize.

I had a farewell lunch with my German colleague 18 Dec, and oh my what a lovely lunch we had at Coriander Leaf.

I usually don t write reviews unless the experience was really great or really bad, and for Coriander Leaf, it was fantastic!

The hosting and service were wholesomely welcoming, and I observed they truly appreciated each and every guests dining at the restaurant.

The menu was organised interestingly - dishes sorted according to flavours and I had the mango salad and stir fried eggplant. Deliciously Asian with a touch of Middle-Eastern fusion. My colleague ordered the kale salad and the Persian kebab. She is a frequent diner at Coriander Leaf and told me the Persian Kebab never disappoints.

Highly appreciate Coriander Leaf making our farewell lunch a delightful and memorable experience!

Definitely recommend Coriander Leaf at Chijmes and I will be back again!

Very nice dining experience, the food were great and pricing is reasonable. It is like having fine dining experience with a good price. Not all the food is amazing but I give points to the service and the ambience. We really enjoyed it.

Was there a couple of months back. Service was great, food was pretty good, tapas sized so we got to try lots of the fusion flavors. But nothing crazy outstanding. Loved the way the menu was orgamzied tho!

Went there for Valentines day, food was overpriced for very small portions, which would be fine if the food was good. However, it wasn't.
The steamed seabass was very sour. I usually like sour stuff but even then this was too sour for me. The roast duck red curry had nice sweet curry, but the duck was dry and tough and had a much stronger duck taste than usual, that I didn't like.
Their chocolate lava cake was melty which is good, but it also came in a very small portion. Served with one strawberry cut in quarters, and 2 blueberries cut into half.
When we first arrived they asked if we wanted sparkling or still water, and when we asked for still, they immediately served an open bottle of water costing $12. They did not tell us the price of the water at all until I asked about it later on. But yet for the family sitting behind us, their server asked if they wanted tap water. Why didn't they ask us if we wanted tap water? I felt like i was tricked into getting that $12 bottle of water.
Overall, wouldn't come back here again. Was not worth the money.

We have been to Coriander Leaf at CHIJmes several times at least in the last 10 years! Definitely several times a year since they were at Boat Quay and then moved to CHIjmes...simply amazing food and service! Never have we had to complain about either! One person who's made the return to CL pleasant is James. James is definitely an invaluable staff for CL! He's been there for years and he's now like a family friend. He's always given us fantastic service without a doubt! He knows me so well that he would say, "Ok momos for you!" I love their chicken momos that I order a portion for myself :) I also love the salads, the fish and their desserts are very popular with my son and niece who crave it now that they are both living abroad! I would recommend this place to anyone for both their yummy food and great service with a smile :))

Set in these stunning surroundings, we had dinner at this place as we were staying close by at the Raffles Hotel. We tried the house special chicken, soft shell crab and an absolutely amazing eggplant dish that defied description. Will definitely return when next in Singapore.

Exceptional menu, ambience and service. We liked the sharing concept and food categories plus vegetarian options. Had business guest for 5 days and this was last stop. He raved about it.
Will be back.

Lovely food with nice mix of tastes: lamb chops, cod, Burmese tofu curry, naan all yummy. But ambience was spoiled by smoky atmosphere from cooking-I smelt like I came from a barbecue after dinner-my clothes and hair all smoky! The open kitchen concept works only if there is good ventilation. So expect to come out all smelly after paying a lot for dinner! Had a Baby Shower dinner gathering for 12 people. Recommended by Mr Faraq. We had watermelon salad which was tasty, momo dumpling, Falafel, salt and pepper squid was a good choice to start with, tandoori chicken, seabass fillet was fantastic, fried eggpant was delicious, tofu, love the naan and the coriander rice was just right. The one that I LOVE the most is the Baby Lamb Chops. It was Amazing. From the taste to its texture. Definitely will come again for that and would like to try the Duck. Service was OK. If I am not mistaken there's not many staffs around. The area that we got with a picture of a Tiger on the wall was quite dark for a photo taking. I guess we can understand that we are in a group therefore we did not get the one with a nice interior. Overall my friends love the food and the service especially to Mr Faraq and his colleague who was kind to get us a proper place for photo taking after our dinner.

The last time I came to eat with my friends, I was very happy to play. There were so many dishes and the price was not expensive. It was suitable for a family and the service was very thoughtful.

Fantastic find in Singapore! We were here for two nights and it was so good the first night we had to go back for our second. The food was faultless and the service warm, welcoming and personalised. Highly recommend the lamb chops and the trio of crem brulle, and also go with an appetite as you will want to try many dishes.

The food is not great at all. Restaurant serves Asian Fusion, but this should be more than just putting some fried calamari and wontons (or an Indian curry and roquette salad) on the same plate. There are much nicer places to go to in Singapore, at a much more affordable price.

Second time here. However, this time round there were a few customers making a little scene towards the friendly staff and hurling vulgarities. All in all, Love the food and ambience here. Tried the lamb chop, red curry duck, grilled broccoli (recommended), steamed seabass & olive rice. Super delicious and suitable for asian taste!
