I have been a fan of copper star when me and my boyfriend moved that side of town and decided to be open with the places around us. The live music on Sundays is absolutely amazing with true talents. Grab a 24 ounce Tuxedo Mocha extra sweet and you will be sipping on the heavens desert.
I recommend this place if you're looking for a wonderful place to work on or get away from stress.

Cozy and perfect place to relax! I came here a week ago. I like their staves because they were so accommodating and friendly to the customers. The service was so fast, and the place is so tidy. I couldn't ask for more from them. They already have excellent service. Thank you so much, guys! You're strongly recommended!

Casual, comfortable and a rustic feel.

Working from home and boss came into town wanted to meet for coffee, this was in-between the two of us. She liked the place so much, every time she comes into town, she wants us to have a meeting here.

People super friendly, quick to smile and helpful, lots of options for coffee and food and the free Wi-Fi is very useful for us.

Found Copper Star a couple weeks ago. Im fairly new to Phoenix from the Midwest, so this little coffee spot gave me a nostalgic feeling of home. The patrons are a laid-back and tempered nature, which makes each visit a delight. My only issue, and the reason for only 4 stars, is that the patio area is overrun with mosquitoes. It's very difficult for me and friends to enjoy ourselves for all of 5 minutes before we are riddled with bites all over our arms and legs. And they will determinedly bite through your clothes! My advice to management is to invest in an effective insecticide. Be it candles, DE or what have you. The fountain that's next to the patio is likely the culprit. I have been restricting my visits to Copper for this very reason.

Fairly typical of an independent coffee shop. Funky decorations, friendly baristas, just enough seating for the number of customers, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The London Fog I ordered was very tasty and well made, and their goods menu looked interesting. Ittd regimen be checking it out if you want to meet up to chat with friends outr do some work away from home.

Always my go to coffee a good cup of coffee or a nice latte. You get every 10th drink free when you ask for a stamp card. Drive thru is quick, even though parking can sometimes be a little full if you choose to drink inside. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff.

I love going to Copper Star to work and I enjoy supporting a local business. Their basic brew has the citrus notes that I'm not a fan of. Atmosphere is top notch though!! And I really like how they display local art.

Super cute & quirky drive-thru coffee house converted from an old gas station. You pull up to the pump, but it feels more like a bank. I was imagining my coffee coming thru a pneumatic tube into the antique gas pump, but a girl came up to our window.
They offered us pastries since it was our first time there- that was a very nice touch, especially since I was in town for my sister's wedding that day!

A funky little gas station turned coffeeshop. Love the old timey yet artsy vibe. I like and dislike that it's so small. Like the fact that it's a little indy coffeeshop tucked into a corner of the cute retro district of Phoenix. Dislike that there aren't a few more tables outside. Thankfully it was quiet and there was one table left for us to sit at (inside was full already). I wonder if the place gets busier on other nights and where people sit when the seating runs out. Other than that, the coffee is flavorful and the pastries are delicious. A great place for socializing or some quality "me" time.

This is a pretty chill laid-back coffee shop. I'm really glad to see that it's not a slam packed facility to where you can't sit anywhere. Luckily you can. The service from the team members has been great. Love the cute little outdoor patio

It's 5:57 am, in Phoenix. When you need coffee, real coffee before 6am. Copper Star hits the mark and fills your cup.

Because Starbucks no other local coffee shop is open before 6am.

Thanks for filling the niche for the working sole's that need good coffee and great snack that isn't Starbucks. But not that there's anything wrong with Starbucks , haha

Great local place to get a real coffee drink from friendly personable people. Really cool vintage gas station converted into a neat eclectic artistic location with some really cool orange couches to lounge on while sipping away.

We've been going here for about five years, and We don't get coffee anywhere else. The owner is awesome, and the staff treats you like family. I love the cinnamon rolls, but lately have been getting a breakfast bagel. #Legit

Awesome little coffee shop. Mostly friendly, ultra-hipster staff. Espresso here is top notch. Not sure what they do differently. Maybe its like Larry's Lattes, imported from some secret location. Even with the occasional 'Tude from a 20 year old who seems sooo bored with you, this is 5 stars easily.

Just visited and HAD to write a review asap. If you've ever been to Milwaukee/lived/love Milwaukee then this will bring you right back. Original art work, a bike hanging from the ceiling and metal cash registers as old as your grandma gives this place the carefree grudge art vibes that are similar to walking down Brady St near one of our great lakes.

And besides comparing this place to one of my long time homes, it's a different and eclectic experience that will leave you wanting more.

Maybe it's just me, but I love small coffee shops that are out of the ordinary, are completely original and vibe with the inner artist.

A very nice coffee shop in the area! I really loved this place because it was not crowded. This place has a great ambiance. The coffee that they had was not too strong. The cakes that they had were freshly baked and delicious as well. You keep up the nice and reliable service here in our region! Thank you so much!

It's true that this little place is a Melrose staple and a real gem. Great service, quality ingredients and that personal touch makes an afternoon latte such a restorative occasion! Good pastry selection too. The tuxedo latte will make you crave!

Relaxed, friendly staff, and prices around $5 for most coffee drinks. Non coffee drinks are $2-$3. I had the zucchini bread and cubano coffee, which was great. I am told by other patrons that the vegan menu is great. Free internet. For a coffee shop it's array of products satisfies most craving.

Surprisingly smooth and good tasting coffee. It may be in a sketchy area but it's a total jam. The staff is friendly, the coffee house is comfy and modern. AND it's a drive thru too! Totally recommend to go when it's rainy. Their patio is pretty cute.

Copper Star Coffee is a great place to eat, drink, and me merry! They have super delicious food options including my favorite, a hummus plate with warm Pita bread and veggies. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. If you love Chai, this is a great place for you. The blended Chai chiller is the best in town!! Visit and enjoy! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is mostly on the street but they do have a wonderful drive through window if you are in a hurry!
