Stopped here after looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. Reviews were great and the place doesn't disappoint. It's a quaint little cafe/restaurant with rustic interior and a fresh menu. I opted for the cream cheese and salmon bagel. It was delicious! Really reasonable priced. The house coffee blend is really tasty too. Would recommend.
Fresh and well-put-together food with something for everyone.
Outstanding breakfast and lunch joint with fast, casual atmosphere and fresh, delicious, made to order dishes.
The salmon scramble and Greek Omelette were outstanding, and if you enjoy coffee, try their house blend with a hint of mocha. You won t be disappointed. On top of great food, the staff is friendly and fairly quick. It s a hole in the wall that s definitely worth the stop.
Great place to grab breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and there were plenty of places to sit. There's a nice outside dining area in the front when the weather is good.
Friendly clerk. Reasonable price and taste. Locals seem to come a lot
Delicious food, great service. Cafe style place. Order at the register.
In the morning looked spontaneously where you can have breakfast. Very tasty, sufficient portions and extremely cheap!
You can only recommend !!!
Nice little restaurant near the pier 17. We ate good and cheap!
Super taste frittatas and the house blend coffee is out of this world.
Don't come here expecting a cheap meal, but it was good meal.
Id love to give it five stars. Because its the best coffee in the neighborhood and the food is excellent. Especially love the cinnamon and sugar donut muffin. And the southwest frittata. But sometimes theyre extremely short staffed. To the point that I often want to help out while there.
Missing food & Can't even get a refund on the spot!
Ordered Bagel with Lox and Frittata of The Day for pick up. We were in a rush but we noticed there was no Frittata included. We spoke with the waitress, and we even had to show her the payment and order confirmation (since she made it as if we were lying and trying to steal that stupid frittata). Anyway, she finally said we had to wait for 10 minutes but we couldn't. So she told us to write down our name and telephone so the manager could issue us a refund. Guess what? We never got the damn call, and of course we didn't get the refund.
I guess I will have to dispute that stupid $12 plus tax with my credit card company. What makes me mad the most is there wasn't any apologies by the waitress. I get it...you were busy, and we were just picking up order with no tips. But seriously? How could it be my fault?! We are all humans, and we all make mistakes. It is about how you handle the situation and not blaming on others.
Such a shame.
This is the ideal brunch spot for someone in FiDi! It's not a typical restaurant in the sense you don't get waited on (save that extra tip money) and their menu is just as fabulous. If you are visiting and want a good breakfast but trying to save money for other activities - this is the spot.
That's just great.
There is not much to say. Service and breakfast were of outstanding quality. Small fine location. We always sat outside on the street. This had its charm despite the lack of traffic and the air.
Definitely visit again on the next visit to New York. An absolute insider tip without much tourism. Which will probably change soon, once the store is recommended by several.
Coffee is good but the place is run horribly. It s supposed to open at 8am and they are still setting up not taking customers at 8:12. Very unprofessional
I m becoming a huge fan of this place! The food is tasty and fresh. The service is also quite good. Very casual and affordable
The curried tuna salad is amazing and their bread with chive butter is irresistible.
Good lunch spot. Tasty sandwiches. Okay coffee with free refills. Cozy tables.
Always delicious and fresh, clean and staff is super friendly.
A bit slow, ran out of most things by 12:30, and staff couldn t keep up with demand (they need more people working). Misplaced order. ...they really just need more staff. Food great though.
Excellent breakfast and lunch food made fresh with good ingredients. Friendly staff. Homey ambience.
Very good, welcome, the meals are good and you can have breakfast, or lunch at any time of the day. we are served at the table and we do not ask for tips, as unfortunately in most restaurants in New York!
Good breakfast at a good price! Big portions and generous with fruit! Recommended!
Ordered the oatmeal, looked good on paper. Was well worth it.
Quiet with wifi, we take some natural smoothies and some vegan cookies all great. You can also eat plate.
Went there this morning for a to-go order. Everything is made to order (very nice). The ham, egg, and cheddar biscuit was good (hubby liked it). The vegetarian eggs were tasty, veggies not over cooked, and the perfect amount of seasoning. The toast with the eggs was stale :-/. There is no flavoring for coffee m. A pump of vanilla would have been nice and I d have even paid extra for it. It s very easy (and cheap) to make vanilla syrup. Or, offer a shot of real maple syrup for the coffee since you have that on hand? The person taking the order was friendly enough but chucked when I asked what the soup of the day was at 8:30am. I like soup all day. I guess I m weird lol. I ll try it again since it s 5 minutes away...
We used to love this place and would frequent once a month or so. A couple of years ago they changed management and it immediately went downhill in every respect except for the house coffee (which remains excellent).
We ve tried it a few times since the new management took over and it has unfortunately not improved. The quality of the food is worse than a below average greasy spoon diner, the portions are measly, and the prices have increased significantly.
Again - the only thing that remains its excellent same is the house coffee.
It makes me sad to write this. I hope they change management again, because this neighborhood needs a place like Made Fresh Daily.
Since new ownership, have noticed smaller portions of food.
Excellent food, friendly staff, for some reason it takes a long time to receive your order. Both times I was there I had to wait a long time for eggs. I'll continue to patronize this place because it's really cute and tasty.
Consistently delicious, it feels like you are walking into a family kitchen. The curried tuna salad on a bed of greens is a fav.
A hidden gem in the Seaport. Cute little neighborhood breakfast place. I love that it s never too crowded but the food is amazing and clearly made from scratch
Turkey sandwich was very good, except it took 10 minutes to make with 3 people in front of me.
Delicious and fresh food! Came with a group of friends expecting to wait for brunch, but there was plenty of seating. Food came out quickly, portions were large, and prices were reasonable. Will definitely return.
Small hole in the wall gem that makes you feel right at home in the Seaport District. Great food that keeps my girlfriend and I coming back every weekend.
Great spot in the seaport. Not crowded, clean and good selection on the menu. Biscuit was great and had a tasty lox & cream cheese bagel!
The best breakfast in NY, tasty Oatmeal and briliant BLT Egg Croissan, you mast try it
I ordered the turkey sandwich and a lemonade. The ingredients were truly made fresh from the thinly-sliced roasted turkey to the arugula greens, guacamole spread and whole grain bread. I heartily recommend this place for a quick breakfast or lunch.
Casual, easy place to eat breakfast. This cafe features a small menu of breakfast dishes, many served with multi grain toast and fruit. Good quality coffee available. The ingredients and cooking were of high quality. Prices are a bit on the high side but worth it. Easy ordering at the counter, no need for waiting on a server. Had a great experience here with my family of four. Recommended for breakfast.
Turkey sandwich and green tea. Super fast and friendly. Great food
Yummy food and coffee. Great chill spot to meet friends.
You haven't lived till you've had one of their turkey meatloaf sandwiches. They were soooo good I had two.
We can't begin to review this divine place!!! It was as if a piece got down from heaven! We loved every bit of the stay. The product are so tastefully done. The material that overlooks serene surrounded by the calm atmosphere has the most spectacular view. The services was awesome. Simply beautiful!!!!
Make sure that your money is not waste.
Lovely breakfast spot that will brighten your spirits
Great for brunch. The Scram biscuit and the seasonal pancakes are always spectacular. They also have cupcakes and cookies for a quick treat.
Super fresh and delicious. The pickles on the side sealed the 5 stars.
Cute, local place with a nice, quaint atmosphere. Food prepared to order and everything we had quite tasty. Bacon & eggs for me (and eggs fried hard exactly as requested). Husband enjoyed scrambled eggs w/ smoked salmon dish. Only negative was table service limited to bringing our food. Had to get water ourselves and staff not overly engaging.
It was a Delicious treat to walk into this place. I brought my friend from out of town and we loved all the food and service!
Great friendly service, nice attentive owners, coffee fresh and breakfast was delicious.
Only to be recommended, very delicious and priced really fine.
My recommendation: Jenny's french toast
Mediocre... Lack lustre service and even more lack lustre food. Had to return chicken as it was soggy and barely hot (warm at the most). Overpriced and no offer of a refund given. Shame as place looked promising from the amount of people in there!
Literally the best food - I could eat here everyday!
Great homemade food. Had the rueben and it was great.
Love the food! Love the service! On bad days, I come by for a chocolate chip cookie with milk and instantly feel better. Small-ish servings and price are the only downsides, but it really is a treat.
I really enjoyed the food I ve gotten here. It s such a cute little cafe with great decor. Also has games you can play while you eat :)
Small, wait a little long, but a delight in the plate or in your bowl! Fresh, original and affordable, a kitchen as we would like more often!
Breakfast and lunch place is truly delicious. Great for weekend brunch with a small group. Food is always fresh. I personally love the farmstand scramble. Biscuits are great too with chive butter. Their house blend coffee (from Porto Rico Coffee on Bleecker) is so good. Great for a quick bite and not usually a wait.
My fav location for tasty Brunch. I love this place so much. Staff treated us so kindly. It has a great interior. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.
Great coffe. Great tea. Amazing cupcakes. And killer egg sandwiches.
This place is ridiculously badly managed. You can sit back and admire how servers run helplessly around without the most basic skills or training. The managerial problems too numerous, fundamental and impossible to list. I know somebody will reply to this post that they were unexpectedly too busy or somebody called in sick.
The bagels and muffins were delicious. The cafe atmosphere is also good.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Wife and I stopped here for a relaxing sit down bite before exploring the city.
One of my favorite spots in the city for brunch. Some of the best coffee and OJ I ve ever had.
